Hello Everyone, Congratulations to everyone that made it to the essay writing stage. Please I have a question: The third page of the CV Template requires that you enter details of your referees (2 Professional and 2 Academic). Are they to also submit reference letters on your behalf before midnight of 22nd October OR will this be at a later stage. Thanks. |

TundeHashim: Don't be an illiterate, did you even bother to research if he was right or not? That you've read so many things doesn't mean you've read all. Your calling Stalin a loving leader still supports what he said because that is the impression he wanted people to have of him, it doesn't mean he was one. |

They leave because when they get the jobs they've wanted so badly, they then realize that it wasn't all it said it was. It's a typical case of 'be careful what you wish for because you just might get it'. 36 Likes |

I'm a GAAP Candidate and something just occurred to me about the GMTP candidates, if the answer is truly MAGAZINE and everyone brings one, what then will be the crieria(ion) for cutting people off? Is there a possibility that MAGAZINE is the wrong answer or that someone will be recognised as smarter for simply bringing something other than a MAGAZINE? I stand to be corrected but this is my view ![]() |

Dear Nairalanders, I'm a guy in my early 20s, B. Sc. Economics, finished NYSC last year October 2015 and secured employment in the financial services industry in February 2016. I've always been called to lead wherever I find myself and this skewed my mind to always want to serve people on a large scale, to directly be involved in the decisions that can affect everyone. As I grew up,it became obvious that in Nigeria, one can't get into such a position without money, connections or both. I don't have much of both plus I believe that it'll make the sponsors/connectors too influential over me hence my reason for not wanting this approach. I then thought to myself: Can someone make it into political limelight by towing the political path like masters in politically related courses. I'm presently in a dilemma as to whether or not to take a Masters in History and Strategic Studies in UNILAG, it's the only part time course available that's politically related after which I plan to proceed for international exposure by God's grace (I'm talking Hertie School of Governance, INSEAD, University of Tel Aviv, University of Geneva kind of schools). I believe this can help me get into places like the UN, WHO etc after which my state may call me for apppointments or the FG can give me a portfolio after which my efficiency on the job can take me higher. What do you think, is the right path? Am I thinking wishfully or too simplistically? I'll appreciate your view on this please. Thanks. I was inspired to post this after someone put up Jibrin's profile, that is the kind of vision I have for myself by God's grace. The man is not even up to 40 |

I know the situation you're in OP, discipline is the only way to curb this menace. There are also apps that can help you discipline yourself. Check out this great article that I came across written by a fellow Nigerian that expanciated more on the problem, It's titled "DIGITAL SLAVERY" https://followmetalk./2016/07/10/digital-slavery-the-disadvantage-of-the-advantage-of-technology/

drop your mail and quote me so I'll know. I'll send the mail to a friend that'll send it for free. DO NOT charge anybody for it. Let it be a contribution to humanity. |

As strange or tabooish as this may seem....I like hairy girls, not too hairy oh. But there's something about a girl with little light hairs looking like side burns and small but noticeable hair above the lip. It's sooo sensual when kissing ![]() |

kayoade09: The training may not necessarily be in Marina. Some banks like GTB and Access have their training centres on the mainland, so my advise is for you to hold on with your search until you are expressly told it's in Marina. |

Nope, as far as the guy didn't : 1. Jazz the girl. 2. Threaten her. 3. Blackmail/ Manipulate her. 4. Rape her. 5. Drug her. Then she wanted it as much as he wanted it. Y'all know how to twist quotes to your advantage. Now you're the "weaker vessel", later you'll say "what a man can do, a woman can do better". Choose one side and stay there . 2 Likes |

I call just twice maximum. If someone doesn't pick their phone after 2 calls, it means: 1. They don't want to talk to you at that point in time. 2. Their phone is on silent mode. 3. They're not around their phone at that point in time. That's it...too many calls will make them feel important. Plus the aim is to let them know that you tried to reach them so 500 calls won't mean anything, it's still 1 call that you guys will use to talk. 1 Like |

Teempakguy: I beg to differ. Classical music is simply a genre of music, same way we have: Hip Hop, R&B et al. While classical music may be preferred by smart people, it doesn't mean it can't be enjoyed by everybody. NB: This is not to say that anyone that dislikes classical music isn't smart oh!! |

nuelzy: ![]() ![]() ![]() His interpretation of the video is spot on 100%...do you know how you and someone could be randomly talking about music someday soon and you just chip in this view of the video?? It may change things positively for you. Ben Carson got his first major job not because he was smart but because he and his interviewer shared a common love for classic music, today he is a top gunner for the US President come 2019 . Expand your horizon, there is far more to life than being myopic. 3 Likes 1 Share |
