Good day, I also got admission in the University of Padua and I've done the pre-enrollement and I've printed it out. Please if I may ask do you have an idea of how much is the adequate proof of funds that is meant to be in one's account before applying for a student visa. Thanks

Hi, please can you add me to the Nigerian group at University of Padua? I am at University of L’Aquila and will be transferring to Unipd by September, but I like to make some enquiries before making such move.

For you to get the best out of service, you just need overlook a lot of things and focus on why you went to church. Am I against correcting people? Not in anyway.

For instance, quite funny though, I don't take phone to church, in fact, I stopped wearing wrist watch to church at a point because of how I'm always conscious of the time and thinking the service is taking too long thus missing what God has for me. So whatever it is that will cause distraction for you, just overlook, better still, you probably could just look for another seat so you can concentrate

Male children are known for being destructive.

I have been following your comments and post for a while now and noticed your deep-rooted hate for the make gender. I hope your gate doesn't consume you one day.

If a man has done anything to you, create time to heal, else, you'd go on like this and keep generalizing to the point that when you have male children, you'll do same to them.

I just feel like leaving this group. I feel worthless being a graduate without a connect or fund to secure or to buy a job.
I don not envy guys who talk about connects and their financial wherewithal here but it's not just easy to take.

To my sick mum, get well soon, I hope to secure a job and give you the best treatment a successful child could give his ailing parent.

Hmmm, bro I understand how you feel and may God grant your mum quick recovery.

However, remaining this way, pitying yourself wouldn't change anything bro. I am in your shoes and haven seen so many bogus amount needed to get an FG job (obviously because of its security) which I can't afford, I have decided to trust in God and begin to chart the course of my life. There are plenty of opportunities remotely and it's only those with the relevant skills can actually get this kind of offer. And you should know there are less bias in this selection, no favoritism and you're certain of getting the job if you're qualified. Also, in most cases your degree sef isn't really necessary provided you can do what you're asked to.

I'd advice you to check for some of the most lucrative skills (preferably tech) and give yourself time to learn and master to some extent. Get your hands dirty, work on projects to build portfolio and begin to sell yourself.

Do not limit yourself to one job that might only pay peanut. You've got vast opportunities online, mouth watering pay as you expand your capacity, wider exposure and lots more.

So pick up yourself, and begin to chart the course of your life. If you dey wait for naija especially when you no get connect, baba you might be on a long thing o. So build yourself until you're too good to be ignored.

Shalom!!!

The question asked by the original poster has not been answered "Which SQL certification" should he go for. I agree with what both of you said concerning Postgre SQL and I never said he should ignore Postgre sql but there is no recognized certification for that and HRs who are the door way to jobs just want something to convince them of your skill set .

In my own little understanding, certification is good but if there is none for now, the person should just leverage on his experience via projects he/she has completed by including the link on CV. At least, that can show that you have the skillset in the meantime while you look for best certification for that.

Always posting rubbish trash all over the place.
Creating posts with natural disasters just to post his daily trash.

Hmmm sometimes the space in between God gives is to give us enough time to turn from our ways back to Him. Nevertheless, a time will come when He that shall come shall come and no longer tarry.

The days of Noah is an example and just so you know, the time frame between when God asked Noah to build the ark whilst telling the people about the impending doom and when it finally happened was a hundred and twenty years.

So bro, you need to turn back to your creator and JESUS is the only WAY through which that can happen.

Stay blessed.

Hello Nairalanders,
Having read many comments, and response to persons who share their story here on Nairaland and received several advice and positive opinions, I now have the courage and confidence to divulge on you for your guidance and recommendations.

Am a Law student in one of the state University, currently in my sophomore year, I'm in state dilemma as to what step to take next in life, because of my present situation in life, I'm the first child in the family of 4 and taking responsibility of my younger ones'. Because of the burden and responsibilities on me, my school fees, my needs and that of my kid ones' considering how things are tough for me, i think it will be difficult for me to continue my studies at this time.
I'm considering dropping out of school to huzzle or learn handwork to meet my kid ones' need and make life easy for us, because things are really difficult for us now. But will appreciate your candid advice on what to do, drop out to learn handwork? Which handwork will you suggest for me?
YOUR OPINIONS,
ADVISE,
RECOMMENDATION
SUGGESTIONS, will be appreciated.
NO INSULT PLEASE.

Current CGPA 4.70

Kaii, why are you just posting this na. I'd have adviced you to apply for PTDF scholarship. Unfortunately it closed yesterday. MTNF is for 3rd year student and your course isn't eligible.

Pls as much as you can, do not drop out of school. Like someone mentioned, hand work is good but you don't wanna thro away how far you've come to go learn work. And considering the fact that you need cater for yourself, why not look for a side job instead to do. I had a guy back then in school who did permanent night security job in an estate and going yo school day time. It won't be easy but you just gotta hang on a Lil.

Put your eyes out on scholarships, once you clinch two or three, you'd be fine and be able to address other needs you have plus concentrate on your studies with little or no worries. By that time sef, u fit even still learn wetin u wan learn.

Good morning everyone.

Please I like to seek clarification on what the prospect of Market Research Analyst jobs is in Ontario. Compared to Supply Chain Management and Business Analyst, which is better?

On the other hand, I have tried to research on my own on jobbankcanada website but it seem a Lil confusing.

Thus, I need a little clarification on the subject matter. Thanks in advance.

There's never an end of life till the day we die, let's just keep surviving, believing in God and improving ourselves

Apt!! Honestly, if we hear pple levels, fear go just overwhelm us and we no go just know when we go begin dey grateful. It's well with us. This isn't the end, there's much more.

boss my not believing in God anymore didn't start today o. Bro if you look at this life very meticulously, think well and reason up you gon see that it's possible there's no God. Imagine, few people are living large, so many are suffering and living in abject poverty. See me for instance now bro. I graduated since 2014 o till now no job. Is it that the God up there is sleeping or what? Until when person die?? Even the heaven and hell trash I don't believe anymore. If truly there's God, hyn suppose know Wetin hyn dey do bro. And you know to praise and worship this God if truly hyn dey requires full concentration. How can you pray and worship the God when you're not happy?

Brother, I undestand you perfectly. I might not have too much experience with job search yet but I can relate to how frustrating and devastating the experience can be. However, I just need to let you know that there is God my brother and like He told Jeremiah, He knows you far beyond what you can imagine bro. He's got this life so planned out for you, though it seems like a mirage but trust me, there is more to you than you see.

Severally I've had thoughts like this, but when I think of how far I've come, I just know that there is a God that has been orchestrating all these. So bro, cheer up cos if you hear some persons story, you go fear ooo. One of my uncle has been out of job since like 2010 and every effort (including paying for fed jobs) has proved abortive. He's got his wife and three kids to take care of. So bro, abeg just cheer up. The book of psalms say "Send us help o God, for vain is the help of man". Na from Him all that you ever want or think of comes from. You're closer to the end of the road than you think. Do have a rethink about Him, stay on course and trust me, in due time, things will turn out for good for you and everyone of us..

Cheers bro!!!

Naija universities wey be say na crammers dey carry first,

Na who cram na im know book

Lols. Una go just dey yarn talk. You think first class is by cramming? Even strong 2.1 sef, ask pple wey get am, a whole lot didn't have to cram. For the records, if you cram your way through mathematics, you go jons wella cos lecturers like those in UI for instance will test your understanding so if u cram you're on your own.. Make una just change this mindset of cramming to get 1.1. E easy na him everyone no grad with 1.1.

What I'd have agreed with more is that, most times, most don't delve into other things while in school. No involvement in extracurriculars activities to build themselves unlike 2.1 guys and below. Thus, at the end of their program, while others have networked while in school, built relationships to help them move up, they can be lagging behind in that aspect.
