Every embassy store applicant information on their database, in case you come again and lie about your current application it will complicate your previous one. Some country embassy even shares information like Canada and US embassy, if you apply for Canada visa , US embassy will have your information with them vis vasa

HRprof none of us are consular or visa officer here so don't let us be like one , like i said I never travel to Schengen country or apply for any Schengen country before or travel to USA or UK or Canada before only southy I traveled too. I applied last month and within 2 days I got a response and the visa is refused.

I am here to response comment to questions based on my personal experience, if is your first time French visa application that you got your passport back in 2 days after submission then your case Is PECULIAR. Ensure agent did not apply for you in the past before this time… I’m thinking allowed NO QAMS
Based on my experience
I have applied for French visa 3 times , first application denied and the subsequent 2 was approved .
First application timeline - 2 weeks - denied
2nd t application timeline - 7 days - approved
3rd application timeline - 5 days - approved

So no ves for me I’m saying based on my personal experience and experience from others I know . We no dey quarrel

There is no way you will apply to france visa the first time and get respond within 2 days . I’m not talking of first time traveler but first time visa application to French embassy. I bet you this is not your first time visa application to French embassy or Schengen country embassy because they share information. Your first visa application takes time because they need to verify your information and store it on their database for easy subsequent visa process .
First time applicant takes between 2-3 week while subsequent application takes 3-7 days

They are not first time applicant but first time travel there are two different thing

It takes 21 days if you are applying for French visa for the first time but if otherwise it will come out within 7 days because your information is already in their database.

My company is in France and I work remotely. I was invited for an offisite meeting, I got my passport today but was rejected.

You work remotely with a France company and they invite You for offline meeting. Visa officer assumed you are planning relocating to resume work physically in France with tourist visa.
I said it before, this people are strategic thinker. If it were event or training organized by your company that will need your physical present that is understandable not meeting. Meeting can be done online but there are some training that required you in person .
I will advise you , if possible let them change it to practical training and they should state your present is needed for one reason or the other. Even if they claim to sponsor all your trip to the meeting and forward to embassy it might not workout. Is important to study your visa documents and applications before heading tk embassy

1. Before you distribute petroleum product in Nigeria you must have a DPR License, the event centre don't have it neither the celebrant
2. They committed offence against safety rule in case of fire incident people will die including the celebrant. Then you will read in the news " 10 persons died in the event in Lagos while distributing gallon of fuel as souvenir" Note your phone can ignite fire or electronic at the event. Risk plenty
3. If the proactive measure not taking now it will become the norm for future event while invitees life will be put at risk , so they did this to stop the recurring incident that impose denger.

My concer is to arrest only the event owner and the celebrant and leave the invitees alone because they informed of tne plan distribution of fuel as souvenir before coming.

US Embassy I know very well will never ask you or look at that invitation letter your girlfriend send or any document including your statement of account. I will advice you not to add the lady on your visa application, if you really want to travel to meet her , apply normal vacation trip to USA if lucky you get the visa then you can meet her when you get there but if you want your visa denial use her as your means of travel in your visa application. Do not use agent

They are doing it because their children are studying there. 99% of Nigerian students in that country are related to a politician. Even those that are on scholarship, we know how they do it, if you are not having connected, just forget it.

No Nigerian politician will leave USA and Uk to send their kids to Ukraine for schooling , only average Nigerian parents sent their kids to Ukraine because schooling is cheap in Ukraine and is not a place for hustle

Thank you Beverlyhills, sometimes we wonder why an application is thrown out.

Atleast i remember vividly when i used a N 650k balance with very good inflow and outflow first time to the German Embassy in 2017. During the interview , my interviewer a guy advised me to look through my application again. I told him No just Put it in, let me try my Luck too. He said Ok your Choice.The next day after my Interview, a DHL personnel reached out. God ooo, these people sent me a refusal letter with insufficient funds story even when i had an Invitation.

My Reasons then for doing that was because my Friend and her sister did same with a low balance but had been to Schengen region.

Moral Lesson:

Excellent Inflow and Outflow with low Balance without any back up funds like Beverly Hills stated is risky.

Did you apply as a business owner or salary earner?
Don’t follow same strategy used by business owner to package your visa application as a salary earner, visa officers assess it differently.
They know that it is possible for a salary earner to abandon his job and abscond to foreign land but difficult for a business owner to abandon his business, even if it happen but they assumed is not possible. Business persons tend to get visa easily than salary earner except you occupied sensitive positions in a recognized institution. Mind you bankers still get denied

Did I mentioned 3 statement of account? I submitted only 2 statement of account Business and personal
Business had much inflow and out flow but 500k balance , I submitted it to show business tie in nigeria while my personal account had balance of 200k but with constant transfer payment from my business account to my personal account reflected as salary payment. I did that to also show them I pay myself salary too. Be smart when packing your visa application

Are you talking about interview weaver or regular appointments date?
The earliest you book appointment date the closer date you get . Currently appointments date is in 2023/2024 Abuja and Lagos
