Odunnu:You will yet see another title in few hours from now, this time it may read "If Not Buhari, Who else?" The voice of true dictatorship. It is not military coup. It is democracy. You don't force people to decide on whom to vote. |
The Poster of this thread that made the headline has only one post. Same set with Multiple ids just to support and cast votes for BB. |
It's funny how Buhari's topic keep being forced on NairaLand Headline and Members. Yet another dictatorship virtual government. ![]() |
chamber2:Very Very Certain, even in the Spirit Realms. ![]() |

Just like GEJ,if u lack content and skills u wont win or deliver any tangible thing. What has he done for the last 9 months.? This is Nigeria and like wyclef said , anything can happen. He can still win/rig-win this election but I assure you all that he is gonna deliver nightmares to us by the end of his tenure. And I pity u Niger-deltans the most because he is gonna throw u all in oiled creeks than u are now.SHIKENA.

Jonathan does not rely or believe merely on his name either, people are just crazy about the word "goodluck." Don't blame him 4 that. Truly, life and death are in the power of the tongue: He can't bring nightmares to us rather to you as you said it unless you stop saying it in ur sentiments(sorry that you've not seen what he has done in his 9months). Lets go beyond the sentiments. |
favouredjb:How sure are you, did you see one yourself? Even desperate people against him could also make it up to poison people in other to gain bad name for GEJ. The Father of Spirits will expose and quench every evil against this nation. |
I smell some rat on the biscuit stage. Does it worth it for anyone to mindfully design evil against humanity to the lost of innocent blood(lives) for the sake of political power or interest in anyway? |
pj5:Did you see him sharing N5 biscuit to people? Many have done many things in his favour without even his knowledge. Trust him, he'll say something about it on his facebook page if need be. Until then, this issue of GEJ biscuit is in the minor and could also be the regular photoshop make believe(false) opium. |
I would not bother about if GEJ, Buhari or Ribadu wins. People are now wiser than in the 80s. Corruption is not only when monies are stolen in public offices and the likes, it is also evident in self driven passions and ambitions of the people.
Religious and ethnic crisis resulting to yearly lost of lives and properties are worst and evil than the corruption we know. I can only but call God to help us cultivate the right selfless mindset including my very self. |
His rival fellow aspirants need a bite of the biscuit if it existed to make them become selfless. ![]() |
If wishes were horses then beggers would ride. Buhari should also know that this is not a military coup. The attitude of old and aged(over 65yrs) African leaders thinking that the only know how to do it best having been there before is purely 100% less selfless of them. It can never happen again in Africa including Nigeria in Jesus Name. It's forbiden. |
Thank You Lord Jesus |
In voting. We ought to be bound to voting proven selfless leaders in and not just party; president Goodluck Jonathan, VP Sambo and Governor Raji Fashola have proven 100% selfless though standing on a faulty foundation(corruption in the country). Yes these leaders have proven to be as said(not there to make money but to serve, although you get fed from where you're working). He and Sambo are right to say that. |
Gen Buhari(rtd) will only prove himself a selfless leader when he quits seeking to be president of Nigeria at his age above 65yrs. A true progressive will never be seeking that when younger and dynamic aspiring leaders are springing up and should be given the support. He did well in his days with less factors of what Nigeria has degenerated into in recent days. But remember, there are times and seasons. |
Thank You Lord Jesus. Awesome is Your Name! |
Why is this unfruitful concern or topic about what these politicians are saying on their campaigns continue to make headlines on NairaLand? It's never new with aspiring politicians exchanging political propaganda and counter speeches during election campaign in any country even in the US. If Ribadu like, let him be proud of whatever he wants, Is he from the South West? Was his name or anybody's name mentioned by GEJ?, I simply call it a lame strategy; let him be a bit focused at the programs he has for Nigeria, and addressing very very important issues of religious and ethnic killings in his region, how he will stop it if voted in and stop mud slinging. ![]() |
It will be a lame strategy for Ribadu to use; election campaign party counter speeches, untill he start telling us how he will curb innocent killings and destruction of properties, addressing religious and communial leaders in his region to ensure they end this evil act among the people. It will be very hard to trust him either. No Sentiments Attached! |
Far to sees and sad to sees, All of them are guilty of talking any how during election campaigns if that tend to be an offence to prosecute them for. I guess Jonathan has a more listening ears and he'll definitely adjust diplomatically at making public speeches at this crucial time of his campaign. |
Funny enough, it's only a rascal that will admit 2 be one. Jonathan never mentioned names, Though I don't support any of such or similar public comments from any politician. Ribadu is 100% neither good with his public speeches. |
Genbuhari3:Never was it scanty at all. With time they'll turn in for him, I guess there will be much surprises at 2011 polls as people begin to understand the need to vote proven personalities and not religion, party, or ethnicity. Here is another true source: http://www.channelstv.com/global/news_details.php?nid=25692&cat=Politics |
I've found MagicJack service quite innovative. Great VoIP device. |
Ribadu should rather give his vote and supporters to GEJ if he is selfless and passionate about the welfare of Nigerians and not party, ethnicity or religion. |
That confirms him{GEJ} a selfless leader who will selfless carry us along to higher attainments irrespective of party, ethnicity and religion. Sentiments wont take anyone anywhere. |
Beaf:@beaf, you're absolutely right on that. I tell people this onlne all the time even here on NairaLand not to be abusive or insolent to others trying to make a point especially to people that are in authority because u think u are hiding under several fictious ids doesn't mean u can't be traced with recent innovations in technology. In fact, you can be traced even to ur typing fingers and ur teeth also unless u go 100% offline. Lol. Wise men don't insult people to make a point. Period! |
Change is constant and this is thick in the air; a credible, free and fair election in Nigeria will be possible as Pro Jega and Dr. Godluck Jonathan will whole heartedly embrace more on the use of 21st century technological approach. Believe it or not there'll be great surprises. People who thought that it's same share all our money all the way long, sentimental, ethnicity, and religious polity will pay their right dues of public vote denial. With God and Techology this time, they people are eager to watch against any rigging. I thank God also for Google Map! Though can't capture live in remote areas yet but it has gone wide already. |
Is Ribadu corrupt free? Also remember that fighting corruption are in stages, what of fighting the antics of religion that has caused more harm to humanity. Look at the yearly religious killings and crisis in Nigeria; wasting precious innocent blood and properties reoccuring in his region. And no one talks strongly against nor do anything to stop these killings 200% worst than corruption. He should start addressing that first than mud slinging. |
The ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party in Nigeria(PDP) have instilled a bit confidence to the world like never before during the recent transparent primaries that emerged Goodluck Jonathan as their presidential flag bearer. A few other political parties had theirs by consensus candidacy for the presidential contest. Well not invariably so with other levels(senatorial, house, governship & council) with all parties on desk, including many alleged imposition of candidates to the electorate. This thirst for change towards having credible, free and fair elections in 2011 at all levels of government is increasing day by day. Then one may tend to ask, should the registered to vote citizens vote based on party candidacy or proven personality? What are they challenges we must face and deal with? |
oge4real:Gbam! Quite stable and cheapest right from the time of Econet till tomorrow. Most stable and peaceful to go with. |
Voter Registration: The voter registration exercise is on and is expected to end by 29th January 2011. Despite all associated mishaps and challenges, following the recent approach to tackle the issues at hand by Prof. Jega. Funny enough many are still taking the exercise for granted. And probably will have themselves to blame as being very unpatriotic Nigerians. The question now is "Have you registered to vote yet? Your Vote is Your Power! Go and Register! Your Voter Registration Card will count:
