Exmilitant: op you dey confused? Your spellings are intact but your grammar structure sucks! in the opening paragraph of your write up, you accused Africa, in the middle, you narrowed your accusations to the east and west and in the closing paragraphs, you expanded your accusations to society in general. Now, reread what you have written and stay on one lane. your topic is fine. You are confusing a QUESTION with an accusation. I asked a question and not an accusation.. Why |
Family › "Pull Him Down Syndrome" by HugeElephant(op): 2:05pm On Jul 31, 2023 |
I have noticed an interesting trait well pronounced among Africans? Why do blacks try to block others from achieving some feat?
When they notice someone wants to help you or sponsor you, or compliment your efforts, they are quick to come out to castigate or rubbish your works and intent.
It's not as if they'll gain anything for pulling you down. Or let's assume that maybe they'll get what's meant for you.Thier hearts seems to tilt towards making others less achieved.
The "Pull him down syndrome" seem more pronounced in the south west and the south east the more. This is not a tribe thingy it's just some set of individual who has been influenced by some factors I might not understand. They hate to see others excel. Pull him down syndrome, is it a societal induced act or some sort of adopted pop-culture?
Why pull a brother down when you should support his elevation. |

gidgiddy: Let me tell you something. If a Soldier captures an enemy Solder alive, and executes him, it is against the Geneva convention and a war crime
So when you are asking if lining up over one thousand civilians and shooting them dead, regardless of who they collaborated with, it shows your level of reasoning
The Asaba massacre was not only a war crime, it was genocide. Had Nigeria been a civilised country, Murtala Mohammed should have been arrested and faced the death sentence In 2020 during the lekki endsars murder spree, many said more about Tukur Yusuf Buratai, the army General. Funny Nigerians Burutai was made an ambassador to Benin Republic Erbody don shut up... Naa who die lose o. Nigerians are too hypocritical |

Everybody has a say even when they were not present when the event happened. If you were in his shoes and had a "war thought" you'll probably make a not so nice decision.
War will always be war. There is no fairness in war. The reality will always be different from Geneva convention. |

IamANigerianMan: 99% of Nigerians are poor but wait oo, North Central has 21M people, 20.2m of them are poor perhaps because a particular religion is used to hold their thinking faculty. to make better decisions that are wealth oriented, you might need to leave religion on one side |

Chips are closely related to humans both in looks and somewhat, intelligence. Perhaps, the chop just wanted to have some fun with the new zoo assistant.
Just like when a new hire comes on the team, sometimes you feel like teasing them. Perhaps Mr chimp just wanted to have some fun. He knows quite well he can be taken down "Harambe style" |

tctrills: I owe you an apology. My answer was quite arrogant. Also let me commend you for you question. It maybe the single most important question that all Nigerians need to ask. But then, I was not wrong. Would you ask a question about Newton's law of motion to your Yoruba teacher? No. You would rather ask your physics teacher. I also commend you determination. You stay up reading and analyzing responses. But then, imagine spending the same energy on the right source of information. Your question is not meant for everyone. Only those who have overcome poverty can show you the path. I would love to reach out to you in a month from now to see how far you have gone on your journey to overcoming poverty. I wish you the best and I hope you never fall by the way or give up in your pursuit of wealth. Please ignore all my initial responses and once again accept my apology. My Gee I hold nothing against you. On the path to finding the accurate information, it's normal to come across different ideas. Your answer might have been crude but it still holds a truth. No one has directly claimed to be rich on the thread but some inferred it. It's upto me analyze the information on the thread and work on it. Just like one artist said in his song "Dakun jeun soro, I dey street I dey hustle like bolor". You have to constantly be in touch with the street. The street manifest in different forms, the internet is a street too and many more areas. You have to be in constant touch. BUT NOTHING IS GUARANTEED, regardless, one has to keep trying. |

Abudu2000: non of those you mentioned came out of a poor home. Eh suleman keh his dad was a govt worker now pentioned. Don’t allow these rich ppl be giving bobo juice, apostle suleman went to uniben, back those days you could write jamb 5X and still not gain that admission. The main secret to wealth is a wealthy background. Take me for instance, i have worked millions but still not a big man, why? Because the responsibilities weighing me down, no help no support. Some people have never lived in face me face u house in their lives, seyi tinubu children will never pay agent and agreement fee in their whole lives, why? Because the foundation has been laid.
All of you saying “solve a problem” “have talent “ you think cristiano or messi are world best players? Keep dreaming, messi got the chance because he was brought into the team via connection, he was selected out of over 100 names submitted. My first year I didn’t gain admission until i used money to sort even when i got a higher score in jamb. That is life!! The poor willl always be slave to the rich. You said The main secret to wealth is a wealthy background, for a person like me that didn't come from a wealth background, how can I get to be "selected" out of 100 other humans? I have tried to build connections and make friends but I discover that, most people think I am well off and wants to beg me for money. But the irony is I am just a lonely, struggling unmarried young man. When I don't give them money for data, or borrow them 3k, they start to distance themselves from me. They don't understand I don't have too. Its as if everyone within my age bracket needs help too and are poor. |

tctrills: 99.99% of those advising on this thread are living in poverty. Poor people are very good at advising others. At this point I don't care where advice comes from. I just want to escape this sector of life where I feel entrapped. I believe life can be better for me and I can make it better for others too (hopefully). Since I don't have a rich person to mentor me, I am staying up all night to listen to and analyze all the respons I get on this thread God bless Nairaland |
