kingxsamz:Thank God oo! |
kingxsamz:God does, and He wakes me up in the morning. What makes you sleep at night? |
kingxsamz:I dey pity you sha. You never see anything for life. |
kingxsamz:I wish you could step outside of yourself and see the ignorance written all over your comments. Well, you're not irredeemable. Your questions are intelligent but your definition of proof says so much about your level of exposure and reasoning. As for me, I'm not done o! If you have more questions, please ask. I'm not responsible for your inability to be open-minded. |
kingxsamz:Then continue to wallow in ignorance and pride till death comes knocking. Wait till you die, then you'll know the truth. If you're waiting for God Himself to come down and say hi to you, then I wish you good luck. My prayer for you is that something happens to you (good or bad) that will cause you to abandon this your haughtiness and have a rethink on your stand. Bad because sometimes God dey humble people like you with one bad experience or more. If you still nor change, then na you sabi. |
kingxsamz:
|
kingxsamz:And who says other gods don't exist too? I'll say it again, the first step is accepting available data for the existence of God, the next is getting to know who that God is. At this point, He knows that you're genuinely seeking Him, then He'll reveal Himself to you. For that one, I nor fit help you. You think it's only now that God “seemed to disappear”? God has completed His plan of progressive revelation to humans, that's why we have the Bible in its completeness today. He had communicated with man for centuries, and those communications were done via miracles, instructions given to a specific people, to reveal His plans and desires. In between those periods, there were times when He was silent and it seemed like He was inexistent, just like it is now. Were there “better ways to record information” then? |
kingxsamz:So ignoring someone who keeps mentioning you without a good cause is a sign of frustration? How please? |
kingxsamz:Have you been in a courtroom before? Do you know how judges make judgements in a case? Do you think they rely on absolute truths to make their judgements, like they scratch every detail to the barest minimum before they decide? Nope. They only make reasonable doubts go away and consider the most probable likelihood. In this case, this means we make reference to the most probable explanation to the existence of God, which is teleology (the intelligent design). It doesn't have to be exact and spot on, it only points us to the possibility of the claim being through. If you cannot give an acute reason why these instances don't point to God's existence, then why do you disagree? Disprove am with facts. Yes, the “why, how and what” questions were borne out of an abundance of observations in different phenomena. The level of consistency a pattern has can lead to the generation of a theory, even if there are no fundamental tools to prove them as facts. On this basis, these theories are practised, and then shown to be true. This leads us back to the first paragraph of this right up, and my earlier comment which states that “accepting these explanations is a first step towards belief”. The stories of Zeus and various other gods are not claimed to be true stories, but rather mythologies. As you know, a myth isn't real. I don't understand your questions from the last paragraph, please make it a bit clearer. |
kingxsamz:I just dey talk wetin you take dey attack the other user na. Wetin make you think say him hope na make you stop to dey type? How you take think that kind thing if you sef nor get ulterior motives for your arguments? |
kingxsamz:Did you know that there were still atheists in those days even when God chose to reveal Himself to people? Even if He spoke to them, there where times when He was silent. Yet, people chose to be firm in their belief in him. The “it has to be a God” argument is the first stage of acceptance. That's the way He chose to reveal Himself to us. Thankfully, he gave people the gifts and wisdom to develop tools and ideas to study these seemingly mysterious phenomena. In fact, this further proves that God exists because.. what if humans weren't this developed? How we for take know all these things? We nor for dey even argue in the first place, because the truth be say me sef for be atheist if these things nor dey. More so, most of these discoveries came up in modern history, which means God chose to reveal Himself in a different way. The very fact that He is a person is enough reason why I can't provide a “direct” proof to you. I nor fit “carry” am con tell you say “brotherman, na God be this, oya believe” . He's a person, not a thing. If He's not speaking to you, then why don't you speak to Him? Is He your servant? |
kingxsamz:Nope, I'm not special. I simply made a choice available for you and I. If I know that I will live in mansions at the end of my journey here, that should make me happy na. Na me and you go dey the hell together? Why e go pain me? |
kingxsamz:Well, you're right. It's normal, but not when you're not providing valid points to your arguments and dodging points that come your way by regarding them as invalid, when you haven't even thought about them. |
kingxsamz:My points are not based on complexities alone, but specificity and absoluteness. How best do you explain those phenomena? Bring up a contrary argument and let's talk. I've stated my points, state yours. As for me, I chose to believe in God based on these information and I applied faith where my understanding couldn't carry me. Since then, though not perfectly, I have been a living testimony of what He has said through the Bible. I can't try to convince you more than that. |
kingxsamz:Hurts me? Well, the last thing I would wish for is someone else to persist in something that isn't good for them and I would help them with pleasure if I could, but if they insist they want to continue because of their selfish pride, what can I do to stop them? Hurts me? Na me born you? You too go funny sha. |
kingxsamz:Fictional characters that gained recognition through comical books and movies? It's normal to argue and fantasize about something one watched in a movie or read from a book. I do that too sometimes, and I even wish I had super powers. How is that in anyway Tangential to arguing about their existence in reality? |
kingxsamz:This statement shows you purpose for having and prolonging these conversations is just so that you don't look like a weakling, backing off from a conversation when you don't have anything to say. The signs of pride are written all over you. Theological arguments aside, you're proud. |
kingxsamz:Hahahaha! Tell me, what do they say about those fictional characters? are they like they are in the movies? Lmao, is there a Krypton somewhere in space and a kryptonite somewhere deep in the earth that can weaken superman's powers? What is the species of spider that bit spiderman and caused him to develop the ability to spin webs from his wrists? Hahaha! Guy, brain don dey pain you. |
kingxsamz:Story wey your brain nor fit comprehend abi? I wonder what your description of “data” is in this context, because I recall I've given you different arguments that point to His existence, but you've not stated a reasonable point to refute them. Provide a data of any form that supports the existence of Santa Claus and a unicorn. The process I went through in acquiring that data? I simply browsed the internet and did a personal research. What research have you done? Show me. |
Image123:Lol isn't it clear that he's deceiving himself? He doesn't believe something/someone exists, but he spends time to talk about that same character. You used the right word, “folly” . |
kingxsamz:Like I said, belief is relative and is often based on the availability of proven data. If you say you have unicorns in your bedroom, what data supports the existence of such being? What do we know about life both in and outside earth to support your claim? The same questions can be asked about Santa Claus, the FSM and God Himself. If you really want to know, you'll ask and make research, instead of concluding because you don't have the answers you're looking for. So one doesn't “just believe” because someone says they should. There are myriads of data that support the existence of God, but there is no pictorial data to show that. That is what I meant by not having data, and that's the kind of data you are seeking. Since the available data supports the claims (na all these data I dey try let you see, but you're too lazy to read, claiming you don't like to read epistles. na who you wan deceive?) why do I have to doubt? That would mean I'm trying to control everything, including another being who has a will. If He chooses not to reveal Himself physically, why should that stop me from believing in Him when He has declared His sovereignty? As a person, you completely reserve the right to do whatever you want to do, no matter what people believe or don't believe. My point is you don't have to see something to believe it, or that you don't see and believe in something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The question then is, why don't you believe it doesn't exist? In this case, you may ask “do you believe unicorns exist? If yes, why? If no, why?” . My answer is no, and that's because there's no data of any form to prove that it exists. Now does my disbelief in its existence refute the possibility of its existence? The answer is also NO, I just simply don't believe it exists because I don't have any proven data that it does. It doesn't matter whether I see it or not. All those talk about you knowing I'm not bright is absolutely unwavering because I know it's a subtle way of saying you're not ready to read and digest all I've written. That exposes how lazy you are in personal research, you just depend on personal understanding without a proper back up. Your yeye psychology nor fit work on me. When you provide a proper argument against the existence of God, I'll know you're serious. As it is, I know you're just catching cruise and fooling around. |
kingxsamz:Guy you dull o. And what if there's no video recording about it? What if no one made a video recording? If someone says it plainly to you without providing a video evidence, wouldn't you doubt? If you doubt because there's no video evidence, does that mean that I don't exist? So in order for something to be concluded as truth, it must first satisfy your own assessment? All I see here is a mixture of pride and foolishness. Oga, belief is relative. If it doesn't make sense to you, that doesn't mean it's not out there somewhere existing. God is a spirit, I guess your little brain thinks somehow we can take photos or video recordings of Him to prove His existence. You want concise data to prove God's existence? Since you don't want epistle, fine. 1. The law of telelology which essentially means the study of design and purpose in natural phenomena: go and study the DNA, and enzymes of living organisms and the level of co-ordination these structures exhibit, then you'll know how much the theory of randomization has been debunked. There are so many teleological conclusions that have pointed to an intelligent designer. Let me explain one in detail, I hope your brain comprehends it: The earth covers a distance of 600 miles as it travels round the sun (orbits). As it does this, it moves from a straight line by one-ninth of an inch for every 18 miles it covers. If that movement was even slightly higher than one-ninth of an inch (say one-tenth), then that spells doom for us because we would all freeze to death. You see how that constant is maintained? If it moved 10% of an inch closer, then the effect is even worse, we would all burn to ashes because in its core part, the sun burns at an approximate temperature of 20 million degrees Celsius. Why is it so? Why do our bodies have the features that enable us adapt to these conditions? It's too perfect to be something that just happened randomly. 2. Einstein's theory of relativity with respect to the law of cause and effect. 3. Moral arguments: where did we get the desires to do good and evil? How do ethics come about? What's with the conscience? Why are there moral and natural laws that dictate how we should live? Why can't these laws be bent? 4. Archeological events, people and places as described in the Bible and how they've been discovered secularly. A question from this section: according to the book of Genesis from the Bible, God created humans in His image and He gave them dominance over all things, including animals. Have you seen any creature that exhibits features greater than humans? Why is it only humans that have this level of advancement biologically? Why not chimpanzees, apes, etc? Why? Have you ever thought about these things critically? Or you just read to pass exams? 5. Biblical prophecies being fulfilled. These are just a few of the massive arguments for the existence of God (from a Christian) point of view. Go and do a personal research since you don't want me to type epistles. Please do, and save me the stress of typing and eventually wasting my time. If all I've said apply to Santa Claus, then tell me any book that has been published about Santa Claus' deeds and nature that has been confirmed anywhere. |
kingxsamz:Good! Now you're communicating. Someone is trying to be a good student haha. This is how I love my class to be; ask questions and you'll get your answers accordingly, this is how to have a good conversation. So now I can gladly respond. But there's no way I can't type an epistle o! So don't be lazy to read. Designed by who or what?: Not a “what” but a “who” , and the “who” is God, as I've reiterated -- an ultra-intelligent being. Before I answer the next question, let me state again that God is not a thing, he's not a concept or an idea that is subject to testing based on the laws of science. He's a real person, and as such asking me to give you a data or an absolute proof of His existence is off it. The fact that you haven't seen Him or He hasn't talked to you audibly doesn't mean He doesn't exist. Let me use a simple analogy to explain that: I may have a rare feature that most humans don't have, a one in a billion feature, but only few people have seen me to believe that. Then someone told you about me, and you requested a proof of my existence from someone else so you could believe also, maybe someone close to me. It is not within that person's power to give you that proof, I can decide either to or not to let you see me display that feature. After several failed attempts, you may reach the conclusion that it's all a hoax. Does that mean I don't exist? Nope, I simply chose not to reveal myself, because I'm not a robot who's supposed to respond to a command without having a good cause to do that. So that's it for that. On to the next question coming up in my next reply. Make I answer that one later, better sleep still dey my eyes. |
slawormiir:Because person nor allow you put tears for other people eyes, you dey wish make him own legit hustle crash. You sure say you well so? |
kingxsamz:I have given you one, the most common logical proof of God's existence: intelligent design, and you have said nothing about it. If that assertion doesn't as much as even cause you to think slightly, then this is just like chasing shadows, you're just not ready to learn. You also haven't made reference to the cosmological assertions I made about the theory of cause and effect with respect to God being created. What again do you want to know? You think God is some kind of “thing” that you can experiment on and get results? Components of God? Dude Cmon, don't be so narrow-minded. If you can't see how logical those arguments are, then you're clearly narrow-minded and simply unteachable. |
kingxsamz:You didn't bother to read because you're afraid of the truth. You said you didn't read, how then could you conclude that I didn't make a logical assertion? You see say you nor just get better thing to talk? Your ego is so inflated that you can't even see when you're making a fool of yourself, all in the name of trying to disprove something that is infinitely bigger than what your mind can carry. Who is making conclusions based on speculations here? I never said I have heard directly from Him. I have a logical basis for my belief in Him. You do not have a logical basis for your belief in Santa Claus. You're only making a claim because you think by doing so and not stating a proof, then it would mean that I also do not have a proof for my belief in God. Your reverse psychology isn't captivating enough. If I may ask, how has your belief in Santa Claus affected your life, since you believe in him? |
kingxsamz:I saw the signs long ago, but I chose to ignore. I know you ran out of logical arguments to bring up, then you chose the psycho-trick. E nor work for me guy. Na my time I dey waste. If you ready to talk, let me know. But for now, since na play you wan play, I go follow you play am. |
Omo nor be small thing o! I thought my WhatsApp was hacked. |
kingxsamz:E be like na “omo get inside” you be when you small, them nor let you comot go dey play with your friends. |
kingxsamz:Oh really? What does he say? |
kingxsamz:Oya continue to dey believe dey go na. When you don zuor yourself finish, you go know say life nor be joking matter. |
kingxsamz:Oya tell me, what is the proof? ![]() |
whatever makes you sleep at night bro.
