As the spirit leadeth. It is just thst most of the sermons these are flesh motivated. |
The guy was very conflicted and controversial. Irrespective of how anyone felt about him, no one deserves to go the way he went. While his stand on Wokiness makes some sense to me, his other beliefs make little sense to me. Let's not even talk about his racism and disdain for immigrants now. Two of the topics that baffles me about his rhetorics are abortion and indiscriminate ownership and usage of guns. Kirk saw the use of contraceptives by multitude as genocide. Dude didn't care if a woman was r*aped or having complications from pregnancy that warrants the early termination of the fetus to save the mother's life, his firm stand was that, in no circumstance should an abortion should take place. Let's say we somehow agree with him on this, sanctity of life of innocent babies. Now, this same guy promotes indiscrinate gun ownership, indifferent to mass school shootings of kids, he said one time on the topic that, “I think it’s worth it — I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment…” (said at a Turning Point event in April 2023). How can you oppose abortion and support gun violence. Seems to me that to him and his likes, it is better to allow babies to come of age in order to be ripe enough as practice shooting targets. Funny enough, the same people that were mocking the shooting of a Democrat and her husband are now fuming now that it is close to home. Never turn a blind eye or be indifferent to any societal evil that afflicts your perceived foes, it might come back to bite you too in the behind. |
Oga dey use religion cover up scandal. Imagine, Donald Trump dey form saint. ![]() |
breathcutter:The politics involved to lead NFF is crazy. Getting State FA Chairmen to vote you in is very difficult |
gr8ofnnetwork:You are mentioning countries. How can you compare a national military regime that can stay for decades with Sole Administration, one whose the occupier doesn't know when he would be told to pack his bags. The risks involved with doing business with the latter is enormous. It is just like comparing election with appointment. |
kaludestiny10:Which contractor would even want to execute any project for him in the State, knowing his status. Contractors will be weary of the big stick should Fubara return. |
givedemwotowoto:Even the head of the free world and the present occupier of the white house is currently bast*rdising the constitution of his country. Testing and stretching every fibre of their democracy. And you think such a person has the moral ground to call anybody to order? A dictator wannabe too? 😅🤣😂 |
Reference:You are very right, Saka needs to be managed better going forward. But i still think that boy isn't ripe enough to go all the way in the EPL. No doubt, the boy is immensely skillful, but physically, he will get bullied a lot, like Nwaneri often is. In the absence of Saka, I would opt for Madueke on that wing ( seems to flourish there), then play Dowman in the last 15-20 mins. |
TempUser:Let's wait and see then. While I hope it is nothing serious, it doesn't look good with the player's reaction. He sure did his hamstring, and this normally takes 3 or more weeks for a footballer to compete again, depending on the severity. |
ZombieDredd:What I am implying is that we are barely into the season, and 3 to 4 players are already injured. Remember how injuries derailed the team last season. Again, you can play a makeshift team and still beat weaker teams, but when you are playing the top guns, you need your top players. Saka is Arsenal most feared player, and he's out for atleast 6 weeks. Need i say more ? |
Asrenal and injuries. They have not even played any of the top guns, they have lost 3 players to injury. Na wa o😅 |
At some point this season, Arsenal will regret not renewing Partey's contract. It is in games like this he he does his magic; controlling the midfield and dictating play. |
dequir:Issokay |
Nice, development, but I hope it is not along the usual paths of earthquakes and tsunamis. ![]() |
lordm:As in ehn. How can a sane person maintain er*ctn while someone is crying beneath him? Sickos |
He signed out in style. Looks like a stage reveal by an artist. People still won't learn; you don't mess around with power line installations. The most brutal way to meet your creator. Well, it ends very swiftly. |
Hmm, that's strange. Have you ever contracted Covid? Because the last time i experienced it was my first encounter with Covid. Lost my taste bud and sense of smell for weeks before all were eventually regained. Maybe from the vaccine or the infection itself, a whole lot of people worldwide ended up with a scar, ranging from the scarring of the lungs and so on. As for your case, after a first Covid experience, I have read of people losing their sense of smell for two years before later regaining it. Never heard of three years, but still, it can't be ruled out as the cause. Speak to specialists about it. Good luck! |
Funny people! 🤣🤣🤣 Failed and retired political th**ves ganging up to rescue Nigerians from their former colleagues with whom they used to show Nigerians shege. Now that they are "hungry", they have become angels. Sorry o, the AVENGERS. 😂 But as mugu wey most Nigerian electorates be, dem go still see them as messiah, and fall for am. 😁 |
Tinubu might be many things, but he doesn't betray those in his camp. But once he senses you are working against him, he distances himself. |
ejieddy:That was a rumour. Nothing of sort happened, just like "they are eating our pets" rhetoric. In fact, Trump was the one discriminating against Blue States during his first term. Obama and Biden never discriminated against anybody. Trump is the petite one, always trying to get back at any American who opposes his views. |
aribisala0:Since you know too much, go and stop the funding now. Folks outside African politics keep displaying their ignorance and hypocrisy. The same two-face people bashing the govt for its generousity towards these girls, would still have bashed them if they had failed to do nothing. How many times has Peter Obi criticised the govt on not funding Sports enough? Imagine a situation whereby the govt tells every association to go self-fund. You start hearing embarrasing things like this team or that team is banished from hotel or stranded at airports. Oga, visit your Representative to sponsor a bill to stop govt funding of Sport Federations. Stop beefing the girls, you sef go do something wey go put smile on Nigerian's faces, and you will be rewarded accordingly. |
I hope Trump will have a rethink about defunding FEMA now, and stop his move to force them to build facilities to house arrested immigrants. Emergencies like these are the reason it was created, not to tackle immigrantion or play politics, but to help Americans in difficult times, irrespective of the colour of their skins or who they voted for. |
aribisala0:We have been here over and over again. It is against the FIFA Statutes, no govt interference in football when it comes to discipline, but they are free to pump money into it. Imagine that! You see, we lack accountability in all areas and we don't have selve sustaining systems across board, hence, the over reliance on govt for everything. When the corporate world intervenes, it is mismanaged. And even the EFCC can't do sh*t about it, not even when govt funds are being mismanaged. We've tried in the past and we got slammed with a ban. Again, Nigerian people are not that understanding in this regard, you will start reading and hearing things about how the govt is neglecting our only unifying factor. Journalists, ex and current footballers, opposition parties, and even the masses alike would be on the govt's neck. Unfortunately, the govt can do close to nothing about the election into NFF. The States FA Chairpersons elect the NFF exco, and from grassroots to the Fed level, the govts fund the FAs. In fact, no section of the Ministry of Sports fund itself. They all depend on the Govt. They are all like over pampered children whose shenanigans are protected by FIFA rules, but their parents are too handicapped to do anything about it, neither can they stop sponsoring them because of the bad name and embarrassment it will bring to them, locally and internationally. |
aribisala0:Exactly what I am saying. The Lionesses already had everything arranged for them in the event they lift the trophy, but in a Nigeria's case, even past match bonuses were owed until the President intervened. NFF is too corrupt, no company wants to have anything to do with a very corrupt organisation. Sometime ago, FIFA gave Nigeria her share of getting to the knockout stage, out of which a sizable amount was supposed to go to the players, till today, I doubt if those players received their dues. Those girls are the pride of the Nation, the most successful of all our Sport teams, but they are often cheated and negleted by the NFF, and when they complain, they are victimised. Another example, the U20, the Falconets returned from a Championship, and they where given 20k naira each to travel back to their families, that they will be paid later. I am sure the 30% which belongs to the team out of the one million dollars that came with the WAFCON Trophy will be mismanaged. Unfortunately, the government has no power to interfere in the affairs of the FA, if they do, and the FA reports to FIFA, every Nigeria Football team will be banned from all FIFA competitions, until the govt removes her hand. |
VinnyBaba:Each player is set to receive a £73,000 bonus from the FA, a total collective bonus of £1.7 million, and could earn millions more through sponsorship deals, endorsement contracts, and social media engagement. They are have more than enough already, hence, no need for Royal gifts, maybe just Royal titles for their achievements. So don't compare them with the Super Falcons. |
Politicstoday:Was his own govt people-centred in Osun State? Nigerians have short memories, little wonder the political class always take us for a ride. |
Trump nah renowned scammer. ![]() After all the current inflation and taxes ordianary citizens pay to the govt, you still want them to cough out more. I am sure more than half of that debt was used to fund wars and coup that doesn't concern them. You should have thought deeply about that before cutting tax for the billionaires. |
Gbadugbakun:You are right. He prolly mixed it up, i am sure he will correct it when he hosts the team. I suspect he wasn't even watching the match at that point, like most people, he prolly gave up on a comeback. That's if he was even watching at all. Lol So many National matters to attend to. |
Bittersweetnig:No, she's not. Chioma's injury and surgery at the beginning of the tourney denied her any playing time. As for the white lady, her name is Ashleigh Megan Plumptre, she was born in the UK, and has a Nigerian grandfather. And she's been a part of the team for about 4 years or there about. |
Gbadugbakun:I think he mentioned her being the Captain of the team. |
Power of naija!!! Congrats Super Falcons, you made us proud! |
