Any hope of Arsenal shocking Madrid just suffered another huge blow. They should just try to seal top four and go again next season.

Any impact this sale is suppose to have on the naira is countered by the continual importation of same products from Europe.

Dangote, a man who knows his onions. If the local market fails to patronise him, he looks outward.

That's my prayer.

They don't win.

Is it his brand of football we want to watch them play in world cup?

It's better they stay back than been a leverage for others to ride over.
World Cup is different from African football. They will up their game if they make it.

But in this match, they just look too lethargic for me. A shadow of the team that played on Friday. We need ball winners in that midfield. The Zimbabweans are just here to run the clock down to favour their neighbours. In a qualifying series that goals scored are important, we've only managed 2 goals at home. SMH

Fubara's error was rebelling against wike few months after his swearing in without any strategy on how to win the war he started.

If he was wise, he should have used his first term to play along, whilst secretly building his own structure. Then come out and rebel 2 years into his second tenure. So at least by then, even if the battle doesn't go his way, he won't have anything to loose.
Exactly, that's how politics is played in Nigeria. You don't show your hands too early, until you have a strong political structure in place, as you are just an empty shell without it. He allowed people with weak political relevance in the current dispensation to push him over the cliff.
Politics › Re: APC To Mallam Nasir El-Rufai - Quit Sulking, Get A Grip by humberjade:
Most Nigerians have short memories, or just chooses to keep playing sporty bet with the country's future. Knowing this, the politicians never fail to take advantage of it to further their course. That's why they sponsor so many vices, particularly insecurity, months before any general elections to make the incumbent govt look unelectable. (Started with GEJ). Guess who's always at the receiving end....the masses. Be careful, when cutting off the nose to spite the face, either way, na the masses go still feel am. Politicians will go and enjoy their loots peacefully, recycle, and then come back as Saints to reloot.

The PDP was called the party of clueless politicians, they wisely left it and joined forces to form APC, and APC became the new bride to most Nigerians. Now, APC is now called the party of vultures. Soon, all these vultures would abandon APC and what is left of PDP, and migrate to another new bride. Then when they fail the people again, they repeat the same circle.

What people fail to realise or chose to ignore is that, the parties are made up of greedy people whose motto is 'we first, then the masses much more later'. The political parties are just a shell, the politicians therein are the ones who gives the shell a good or a bad name. We fail to realise that if a party fails, these people are responsible. But for the continual gullibility of some Nigerians, these same set of corrupt and greedy politicians will continue to shed their skins, put on a new one once they see that their old skin is scarred or torn. Always at the detriment of Nigerians.

With all the atrocities committed and supported, not to forget the comments made by El Rufai against Christians especially Southern Kaduna people, it is shocking that such a supporter of ethnic cleansing could garner any support in Southern Nigeria.

Times are tough, the economy is bad, but while making decisions on how to jump out of the frying pan in 2027, choose wisely where to land, so that you don't land on fire itself. Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing, beware of jackals coming together to present themselves as guard dogs. Beware!!!

huh That's the best sleep/rest hours recommendation for any workaholic.
When you live and work abroad, that's one of the best sleep patterns you can get. I think same applies for those who live in cosmopolitan cities across the world. Late to bed and Early rises due to distances from home to work and heavy traffics.

While I condemn the shooting of the lad, there is no excuse whatsoever for failing to stop when the police stops you at a checkpoint. No matter your perception of the Nigerian Police Force, they are still on the roads to protect us.

Let's try to equip our cars with cameras to record shady biz. When a police officer stops you, you stop. It is not out of the ordinary for the police to just stop you, it is called random stop and search. It happens even in 'saner climes'. Not to talk of a country riddled with insecurity. Kidnappers use exotic cars to transport their victims these days.
