Please for applications yet to apply, with particular reference to those applying on the 27th onwards, please kindly refer to the new tier 4 application forms as they would take effect from 27th. Here is a link you can all refer to,

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/pbs/tier4generalapplication

moreso, application fees are set to increase from the 1st of October 2010. More info can also been linked from the web above.
For those of us who have applied using the old form, according to the information on the web, it is still acceptable till 27th i read. The new form came out on the 6th September 2010.

Please find out more for yourselves, and please correct me if a, wrong.

Thanks

meant adding extra documents for admin review, that you shouldnt have done. In any case, please, add a good write up to back up your new application after collecting your new cas number.

@sats.
Please what date with month inclusive did you submit and when did you pick up? When did you submit for admin.review?
I feel a new application won't disrupt ur review, however, you shouldn't have added extra documents. What i can advice go through an agent to make your applicatiön faster. No time.
If you have the money. 15 working days may not get you to school early.

I am a business owner, who have imported from the UK in the last 2years, but yet to visit.

I have done over £500k worth of business, and do at least £20-25k with UK every month with invoices, AWB and transfer slips to prove. My partners in the UK have requested I pay them a visit. Please advise best way to go about getting a UK visa. They are willing to provide all documents that I require to support my visit. It's a VAT registered coy. In fact they have gone ahead to send me the attached file to fill, but I just went to the passport office last week to get the passport.

If you have deposited on the 9th Aug. let it stay till 6th Sept.(and you can print your statement on this day) then apply the next day and upwards, but must not exceed 1month from the day it was printed. Request that your statement shows the balance closing date, bank logo, your name, account number and contact add. for the bank.
Thanks Scobby2007. What about if I wait till 7th August to print and before then do a transaction to ensure there is a closing balance, after which i print and head on to submit. Please let me get your take on this.
Thanks again

Good news await all who have tendered their application and thereon waiting for a decision in Jesus Name. Amen

Check your application one final time so you make sure you cross all the T's and dot all the I's. As per you bank statement, you said it is 30days now, please ensure that there is a closing balance date on the account that will prove that indeed the money has stayed in the account for 28 days, this is usually done by transacting after the 28 days, you can just pay N50 into the account. I'm saying this because despite the fact that my money had stayed in my account for 40 days, I was refused entry clearance cos the ECO said there no closing balance date, and the guidelines does not state that the date the statement is printed should be used as the closing balance date. On a final note, I wish you the best of luck!

Hey Femtopsy, i'd like to get answer from your quote thoroughly for explanation. When u have say 5million in your account transfered in one day. And then, you add some money to that say about 50 grand, making it 5 million fifty grand, this transaction occurred within the 28days. If however you decide that, you want to withdraw 1million on the 28th day, knowing you have excess funds and your balance has not gone below the required amount. Then on the 29th day you print the statement and apply without a further transaction. Can the transaction on the 28th day be regarded as the closing balnce? This is because you just said the transaction for the cosing balance could be done after the 28 days. Or what do you make of this?
Holla. This is just directed for better understanding.

As this seems different from personal bank savings and building passbook statement.

Or is there anything to show as regards this fixed deposit account?

Thank you
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered by humblemoi: 10:37pm On Aug 04, 2010
Please can anyone confirm to me if the required document to submit for an application using a FIXED DEPOSIT ACCOUNT is the Letter from bank, that is, A letter from bank confirming funds have been held for a consecutive 28 day period??

As this seems different from personal bank savings and building passbook statement.

Or is there anything to show as regards this fixed deposit account?

Thank you

@ Justwise, thnks a great deal. Your explanation was very helpful. I got a mail from the Institution telling me that i should just print a one month bank statement and not bother about the previous month at which the deposits where made or i should just print along the last date at which the deposit was made. Thanks anyway, I'll find a way to go about it.

But you didn't attend to my second question as regards the University certificate for my friend. She was awarded a degree in Business Education and it was written as Bachelor of Science (Education) but on her CAS it was only stated as Bachelor of science , BSc.

Would this in anyway that affect her application when the time comes?
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered by humblemoi: 9:25pm On May 27, 2010
Hi Justwise, please i'd like to ask what you mean by

You shouldn't have deposited it that way, that will raise suspision, like i told b4, since u still have about 3months for applying for visa, u should have paid it in every 2weeks or every month.

For tax clearance certificate issue, its always good to provide evidence of source of income, either payslip + bank statement or the
tax clearance certificate, you need to convice they that you did not just borrow the money just for the visa and when the visa is issued you return the money. BHC knows that u don't work, somebody is sponsoring you and they want to know if that person is capable of doing that and have steady/genuine source of income.
this is because i intend to do the same. Why i'm asking is because the Teir4 guidance states that the required money should be held in your personal as it applies to individual for a period of 28days consecutive ending no more than one month before application is made. So this end, i feel when one is to print the statement he'she would only print a maximum of one month.

Will it be possible to avoid showing how the deposits were made in such a scenrio?

I'd like to also ask, that a friend studied business education(BSC ed) but on her CAS, it was just written BSC hope it won't affect her application when she tenders her application.

my first time here, pls answer appropriately. thank you!
