Let her see it. UK people no get money. Always living on loan. Some of them are not organised at all. Just spending without thinking of the future. Atleast in Nigeria we are still rich.
Irony of life, weeks ago you were asking how to migrate to the UK to join your wife, but you're back here abusing the system because your wife won't agree with you to join her.
I hope Nigeria gives you more than what the UK can and hopefully your wife feels good to join you back home, if that's even a plan.

Oh I hope your phone isn't hacked as well.

So you have not changed, can't you make your point clear without insult?
Meaning he must be attending lower level school?
If you could only take a moment to see through his perspective on the subject matter, you wont be upset, I assure you.

If the initial poster supported his claims with data, there would be no issue at all. That's all there is to the discussion.

When there are arguments surrounding visa guidelines, people bring out screenshot to support their claims and that's all the poster above was trying to get at, what evidence is there to say Europeans are not intelligent or brilliant?

Hmmm, interesting.. care to share more information?

At the end of the day what the goal..... if you are doing a masters and want to get a job then ranking plays little or no part. In america yes, in UK.... don't bother. Apart from the few tops schools . The rest are all in the same bucket when it comes to hustling that job after graduation

I agree with hosey , Instead pick what fits your need
To the bold I sincerely agree. All that should matter to one is what one wants for him/herself.

I have two friends, Person A, did his masters and PhD in a not top ranking Uni. At the end of the day, he went a different path that would fetch him the most cash. This friend does not even put any Uni attended on his CV despite having a PhD, he simply brags about his competencies and that has gotten him through the door for sometime now.

Person B, did his masters in a top ranking Uni, studied hard to emerge one of the best candidate and got recruited right after he graduated into one of the oil and gas company in Scotland. According to him, the courses he took in Uni, helped him demonstrate his ability to take on the job if he were to be employed & eventually was.

In conclusion, develop your strategy to win, if you care to you can look for experienced people to offer guidance and then you kill to win. Once again pick what Uni fits your need.

My school (Bedfordshire) just postponed my June 1st start date and gave me a revised offer to start July 27th. My problem now is that the new offer came with an increased tuition £15320. I already made 50% tuition deposit of £6625 with the previous offer with tuition £13250. I am just confused. They want me to top up. This isn't fair at all.
Hi, my suggestion to you will be to write to them and let them know you are already committed to the initial tuition and have made a deposit to towards your commitment. Please try to stand your ground and make them understand that you were never told fees will be updated before the start of your program (that's if nothing of such was ever written anywhere). If they refuse, i'd suggest you carefully decide what you need to do next.

One bag weighed 23.kg and the other 32.6kg as there is provision to expand one bag to 32kg for $75 or so.
If we were to pay for extra bag of 23kg, it would have been 56k or there about.
Thank you for the information shared.

Thanks to all the guys and babes who make this thread tick..
The 25k paid was it because his bags were weighing over the limit of 23kg or for a separate bag of 23kg?

The father of my daughter already has a visitor's visa (2 years already),Hence i want to enquire that since we are not LEGALLY married and do not reside in the same house, can he ;
1. apply for a dependant visa alongside my daughter?
2. Can the visitor's visa be cancelled or both visa issued side by side

I don’t agree with your points. Do you think it’s easy for any Nigerian youth without a strong political connection to achieve all what you said in your second paragraph” Starting a business or getting a job that pays big“ I’m sure in the next 10 years this young man can’t satisfy the British High Commission. So please stop discouraging him. And I’m sure most of the peope advicing people to stay back in this country are not in Nigeria, why can’t you stay and make it in Nigeria.
I’m even regretting it that I didn’t move out of the country when i was young. This habbit is common among abroad based Nigerian to discourage people not to come. We all know the truth Nigeria is not a better place for youth to hussle.
My advice to you as i have said earlier,@gberm this oyinbo people don’t want youths especially blacks in their country even if you have 10m in your account they will still refused you so far you are a young boy. They are just ripping off Nigerians of their money. If it’s compulsory you must meet your white friend tell him to consult an immigration lawyer over there to challenge their refusal decision this may cost you lot of money but it worth it i now what I’m saying. I’m been there for months even my grandma went there she doesn’t want to return again. Please let be sincere
You clearly missed the point.

Sorry I read in a rush.

Everybody’s own shows name, time of call.. Just munch it like that. I’ll advise you delete all the ones that aren’t your wife’s calls. Then just screen grab. It will show the different dates that you’ve called your wife. Do this every month. Provided they see consistent dates, that will do.
No problem, thank you.

if that's all you have submit it..they look at the bigger picture not just your call log. I used my iPhone mostly as it showed my husband picture and name on the call log but I also submitted some from my husband's android which shows like you have said just my name. if you want to go further, screenshot the name as saved on your phone so that way they can see the name & number of your wife. Add this particular screenshot at the start of your word document and then add the actual call logs. Always have a title for each word document for example I wrote: August whatsapp call log from Applicant phone showing wife's name as XXXX.
Hope this answers your question
It does, and thank you very much.

Google how to export whatsapp chat on android. I don’t use an android so I can’t tell you. You can also screengrab your chats and paste them on word documents 6 - 9 per page. It doesn’t matter if the number shoes or her pet name shows or her full name, they only care about consistency.

As for number of pages (everyone asks this), just use your initiative. Maybe 2 photos/pages per week or 4 per month. Your choice.
Hi madam, I have sorted the WhatsApp chat logs, but here is my question again, "Please can anyone advice me regarding submitting whatsapp CALL logs. Unfortunately, my phone with an andriod IOS does not show contact number of the persons called. It simply shows name, time of call, duration spent on call and data sized used for call. Will this be okay to use?"

Thanks

Humblemoi, I have a question.

In a situation whereby one's application is around 14weeks now and no update yet aside the biometrics, considering that school is technically resuming tomorrow, do you think it was appropriate for me to send a mail to the address you dropped here for us without thinking i am desperate?

Cos right now, I just want to know what is up with my application.
Hi @yomcy2016,

Current application processing time for applicants in Nigeria is 14 weeks. i can only suggest you raise a CSE asking for an update on your application as school is about to resume. It will further be helpful, if you are in a tight corner regarding fees pending a deadline, or in between making a serious decision. If that isn't the case here, i'd suggest be patient, once deadline for resumption is past, you may wish to defer, request a new letter of admission and raise a CSE and hope, that they once again review your application during this time.

Moreso, please request a GCMS note, to know the true state of your application.

Cheers

I think it depends on the content of your mail... I wrote to him and he responded even thought the response looks like auto response, but my application was updated for the first time since may and I got a medical mail... It may not be because of the mail though, but it happened after the mail, so I will be right if I say writing him doesn't connote desperation... My thought anyway
Thank you for sharing this

Hello guys. So I just received my gcms note and from reading it, just a silly mistake stopped me from going to Canada this fall. The note said that bank statement show recent lump sum deposits of unknown source. I checked the bank statement submitted and saw that yeah 5 million was transferred to the account some days before I submitted. So please what is the solution to this issue? All the gurus in the house I need your help.
Hi Alantobie, thank you for sharing with us the outcome as seen on the GCMS note. Atleast you understand where the error is and can tackle that.

Basically, you need to explain this error (lump sum) if possible with proof (example invoice from a job, liquidation of an asset, receipt from sale of a car) and then double check the next statement that is printed to ensure it doesn't recur.

Wishing you the best with your re-application

Cheers

Bro don't you think sending mails to the minister sound desperate?..
Not at all, not even when you have spent about 6 months with no form of communication nor update. I get the fear, but where you do not get any communication or response after soliciting update regarding your application, you should have no problem escalating it. Do not forget, it is your application, you paid for the service to have it processed, if anything were wrong, you ought to be notified, should timelines be exceeded, you should be adequately communicated to about this. On the other hand, request for your GCMS notes, atleast you will see the transactions done on your profile, especially notes written based on initial assessment with date stamps.

This is the Minister of Immigration's email address if I am correct still.

You may use both, but best to outline your case in an orderly manner. Such as;

Subject: Application number - Study Permit xx month still ongoing

Body;
UCI
Application number
Date of birth
Visa Office
Category of Visa - TRV

Explain with paragraphs to include - when application was submitted, if any correspondence received, and when Uni is expected to resume.
plead for assistance and close your email.

You should get a response within 48 hours at least.

cheers

Yea I had the misrepresentation tin but I explained to them and I was sent medical mail and then later sent another mail request for proof of tuition payment and funds which I have replied since May 29
Hi @Abiodunne.

While your case is really beyond comprehension, I'd suggest you send an email to this two email addresses.

1. cpc-ctd-ottawa@cic.gc.ca

2. Ahmed.Hussen@parl.gc.ca

An alternative is to order your GCMS notes. There is no harm in doing this. What it does is give you the true state at which your application currently stands. In some cases, it triggers an immigration officer to look for your file and decide on it, should it have been Put Away.

Wishing you the best outcome regardless of the timeline Bro.

Liz2014:
Hi all,

I noticed there is no thread for those who are applying for Canada PR under PNP paper based not express entry, so I will post my question here. (please refer me to one if there is)

My brother just received a Provincial nomination under High Occupations in Demand category. The nomination has been sent to CIC by the province as well and he's been asked to mail his PR application package to Sydney,NS and He is getting all required documents together (police clearance etc

Question 1: In the checklist for this category, they did not request for Employer letter and proof of funds (although they were required by province to get Provincial nomination, which he provided and he still maintained and has them). He told me he wanted to add it nonetheless and I told him why add what they did not ask for? If you've done this before, please advise

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/prov-apply-application.asp

Question 2: Has anyone used paper based recently and can advise the timeline. Most people are using Express entry and he doesn't know who to ask about the timeline. I know it's slower than the 6-month for express, but has anyone gone through this recently?
To answer your questions @Liz2014

1) Paper based applications for Permanent Residence do not require you to submit "work reference letters" and "Proof of funds". These are usually covered by the Nomination certificate of the Province. Should they require knowledge about this, your application submitted at the Province would be the reference, except otherwise they ask for updated letters or proof of funds, however, this is rarely the case. Your brother does not need to add any document beyond what is on the checklist.

2) Timeline according to IRCC website is strictly 16 months compared to express entry of 6 months. However, I have come across people's timeline who has been within 4 - 6 months. It majorly depends on the visa office. I am in the process but at the stage where I await the PPR. Medical passed June 5.

I hope this helps!
