Icon4s: Good that we are not even participating in CHAN next year. We don't want any team that will be spoiling our ranking as we climb up the ranking ladder ahead of the 2022 WC.
You go draw Brazil this week only for one team to lose on ur behalf to Togo. What do u call that? the shambles of that team was orchestrated by the beard coach...who knows nothing about coaching IMAMA the responsibility to manage the Chan team shows his cluelesness.... he messed up that team.... playing any national club sides is still enough preparation to put the Chan team in shape prior they play CHAN qualifers.....for any coach that knows what he is doing even Yusuf was still better when in charge |

You make allegations based on prejudiced perception which coming from you is opinionated balderdash.
There are so many of you here that i have challenged time and time again but you all go evasive and hide. You have joined them as well.
So can you tell where i have spoken a LIE but Komekn everyone can't be wrong nahh... even the english proverb says "unity contains a lot of strength" you really need to mend your ways... how come you alone happens to know almost all the coaches in England and even know their characters when it comes to making case for your preferred players.... tho I won't like to reveal much your high sense for partiality and biased perceptions is just too glaring to be overlooked... you talk about not being objective, prejudice etc while in the real sense you are guilty of it... |

If the chan team qualified and got to the semi-finals of CHAN, Rohr will take a look at them. After considering Rabiu Ali's past record in the league, the remaining period of his ban is hereby commuted to a suspended sentence with effect from Matchday 6. Rabiu Ali is however required, as part of the commutation of his ban, to contribute to community engagement & development including visiting schools to promote good virtues associated with football. #NPFL20 perfect punishment...they should ensure he serve it full. |

OK don't mind him...he will always look for excuse for Imama.... everyone who knows football...will tell you that imama has nothing to offer even if given the current super eagles team... but Basco will never agree whats wrong with playing a nation league side...like any of the NPFL club as friendly is that not a good test for the CHAN Qualifiers? a coach who knows what he is doing, won't mind organise this friendlies with club sides close to their camp base and you must not wait for the clueless nff to do all things for you.... who did the yusuf team played prior they qualifed for the last one still waiting for him to carve excuses for Agbiogun and the Olympic team gross failure in Egypt. the first thing the NFFneed do right now is to employ an indigenous competent coach to assist rohr and also help build the CHAN and WAFU team... that's the best bet for NPFL players to climb up the ladder.... cc: BascoVanVeli |

komekn: You don't have a right to play.
You earn the right to play.
He was woeful in training and woeful in games. There were big expectations but he failed to live up to any.
Even in the U23 's he was far from impressive.
He was exceptionally POOR and the coaching staff and fans attested to this. It became an embarrassing comedy for the club.
Do your research. It's clear you have done none hence your question. yes he was poor let me agree with you... I can exonerate him you...know... considering the football set up in Scotland might not be the best for him as such might need some time to adjust.... also don't expect him to catch up so fast like many of the talented English kids...because unlike them he never had the privilege of being schooled in some of the world finest football academics... he was partly brought up right in the streets of kano and Abuja.... he played well in Holland and also in Italy he did quite well.... but he never had the chance to settle fast in Scotland...and now he is doing well in the Serbian league...you rated 20th best....... and also at the Olympics he did pretty well with over 3 goals to his name.... so let me ask you Mr. komekn.... is one season poor run enough to judge a young player or the failed sojourn in Scotland enough to keep judging him with from his run so far in SERBIA.... don't you think the lad still have a promising future and shouldn't be judged by the Scotland poor run... sometimes I just don't understand...you even kids who started watching football yesterday won't result to this agbaya analysis by you.... is it that you can't be objective and rational enough to say the TRUTH at all times even when the player is not your preferred pal... |

Koboko99: On Sadiq Umar's time at Rangers FC and his relationship with Steven Gerrard.
Speaking to The Sunday Post, he said: “All of a sudden, I was told that I could not use the first-team dressing-room any more. Instead I had to go change with the kids. Then, after a few days, I was also forbidden to park my car inside the training centre.
“I felt humiliated and kept asking what was the reason for the change of attitude. But I never received any answers. Gerrard wouldn’t give any explanation about it, neither to me nor my representatives.
“I believe absolutely that I was not given a fair chance to show what I can do. They made me feel like a stranger. I started only once (in the League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen) and that was when there were no other strikers available.
“As I say, for me everything went wrong after they brought in another striker (Lafferty). Once I put a ‘like’ on Instagram to a post from a fan – and I was fined £20,000, which was absurd.
“And Rangers didn’t even pay me up everything I was due. They still have to give me my salary for December.”
If we talk about a certain player at wolves, someone will tell us he was frozen out of the team because of Jorge Mendez involvement with the club but he's always too quick to pass a judgment on Sadiq Umar.
Sadiq was froze out of the team too without any explanation, not like he played 25 games without scoring.
If you can make excuses for someone because he didn't get to play then think twice before you pass such judgement on Sadiq. cc: komekn |

ILLICITblood: good morning my people Just stumbled on this
Solskjaer Promote 17 Year Old Kaduna Born Nigerian Defender To Manchester United First Team
17 year old Nigerian defender Teden Mengi was among four youngsters who trained with the first team of English giants Manchester United ahead of their English Premier League game this weekend against Sheffield United.
Mengi, Di'Shon Bernard, Largie Ramazani and D'Mani Mellor all trained with the first team bringing to 13 the number of players from the youth set up at the club who have gained first team recognition since the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as coach. The others are Angel Gomes, Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong, James Garner, Matej Kovar, Ethan Laird, Charlie Wellens, Brandon Williams and Dylan Levitt but Mengi is the one that concerns most Nigerians.
At the age of 17 he has already establish himself as a regular in the Under-23s this season and has formed a solid partnership with Bernard at the heart of the defence. So far he is played in eight games for the Under-23s and three for the Under-18s. He signed his first professional contract at the club earlier this season and came in for praise when he excelled in the EFL Trophy victory over Lincoln. He has regularly worn the captain armband for various youth teams at the club.
Many view him as the next home grown defender who will likely tow same path as first team defender Axel Tuanzebe following the exit of Lee O'Connor to Scottish Premier League ( SPL) giants Celtics.
Born in Kaduna State in northern Nigeria, he has already represented England at various youth levels but he is still eligible for Nigeria who have so far succeeded in convincing former England youth international Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina and Victor Moses to switch allegiance to Nigeria at senior level.
President of the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) Amaju Pinnick has not hidden his desire to convince Nigerian players born abroad to represent the country even if they have played for the country of their birth.
Personally Mengi will be hoping for a better career at Manchester United than the two Nigerians who have been on the books of the club lately in Tosin Kehinde and Nicky Ajose. Both players failed to make the step up to the first team despite a promising start to their career at the club, which is not to different from what Mengi is experiencing at the moment.
If he makes himself a part of the first team he will no doubt trigger a fight for his international future between Nigeria and England like the case of the trio of Fikayo Tomori, Ebere Eze and Tammy Abraham. England however beat Nigeria to the service of the trio as they opt to continue their international career with the country of their birth.

However, I don't know where he is now. he applied for the super eagles job then same time Yusuf applied prior ROHR was picked for the job... He talked about returning to Belgium then because his City club was now in Belgium league 2....and he was asked them to come help manage the team.... Starboytwo: I don't really like Spain... The only team I could tolerate there are the Madrid teams...
I don't particularly enjoy that tiki- taka kinda passing, boring style of football...
I usually don't understand how people will pay 100 naira to watch Barca vs levante I mean, who does that... We know Barca will win like 5-0 already, and the opposing team gets to touch the ball twice for the whole 90 minutes. Now thats the frustrating part that always get me...
One Sunday I was bored, strolled to the viewing center and it was Barca, haaaa, I manage to sit down and for like 10 minutes, I was not really watching the match per say, but wondering how the opposition could not just collect the ball for Barca leg since i got there and by the time they manage to get the ball, fiam, Barca collect am back... I just tired on their behalf and left, even when the owner said I should pay 50 naira... im Sorry, even if you pay me I cannot watch... I could always watch Madrid and athletico, at least there is Ronaldo, plus there is this feeling when you watching Madrid, maybe it's the white jersey, I don't know but their games are usually interesting and they hardly play clean sheets, they play a lot of 4-2, 3-1 and athletico are a crazy team all together, lot of characters in that team...
Not forgetting Barca beating my team twice in a final, very frustrating nights for me, and it was also the Spanish golden era, 2 euros and a world cup...I love football so you will understand why I don't dig them so much as every where was painted Spain and Barca... World cup, champions league, euros, they would have won afcon if they were allowed... I was suffocated and it made me forever be a/an
Epl over la Liga Ronaldo over Messi Mouhrinho over Guardiola Madrid over barca Atletico over barca Man u over man city(naturally) Liverpool over man city( I fell in love with klopp two seasons ago at d ucl when he won at the Etihad)
Also i don't carry them on my tickets on bet9ja, any Spanish teams are always removed and not bet on by me... Last time I carry one of them, na him spoil my 30 billion....
Also the treatments of players I like by Barca/Spanish people, chieftly among them, zlatan'... I read his book " I am zlatan" and everything he talked about Spain, Barca and Guardiola further makes me not like them... Eto also, treatments of yaya, robbing chealsea in the ucl, and sneider of the world best etc we are same page bro.... my hatred for Bercelona is beyond imagination, can't even sit watch their match.... probably because I hate teams that oppress others in the field of play... also I have same hatred towards Man city Arsenal (still remember how they oppressed teams during the era of invisible, Henry, pires, Dennis, Parlour ) and Kano Pillars
any team playing against this guys no matter how small...even If it is ikorodu United has my support..... just hate Bercelona and Man City pray they go to relegation some day ... and the Coach I don't just like is Pep.... I just don't like to see him.... I understand he is very knowledgeable about the game but you see I hate coaches that build their teams to beat others mercilessly.... likewise I hate England... national team...I hate them because of the hype and cowardice around the team... them loosing always make me happy..... that's why just can't wait for the next Euro for an upset..by one of the small teams.... I started following Chelsea because of the suspense thats goes with their game... I like being taken unawares... counter attack still my best version of football.... I love teams with excellent defending reason why I support all Italian serie A teams...... |
