komekn: I haven't heard much about this guy.
Instituting the principle that the only basis for selection is continous consistent top quality performances in your club and league.
At one stage the Bundesliga was rated number 2 in Europe. We had a player who had not played any first team games invited to the SE.
What I am saying he should at least have been invited to see what he can do and if he performs then selection.
Admittedly not impressive he only scored 4 Bundesliga goals all season but then KC scored 4 over two seasons and was still considered.
There is a DOUBLE STANDARD. sometimes your talk eehhh. only God knows where you get those words from.... if you were the super eagles coach...on your first match player happens to score the only goal that earned your team victory despite the eye brows been raised when you appointed as coach... then after during the qualifiers he continues with the scoring spree... you've watched him in training and you know what he can offer and you know of his potentials... will swiftly forsake such a player all because he was having a tough club career...? you think you watch or know the German league more than Rohr? same question I wanna ask forgiveness? the German and French league ..tends to be Rohr's favourites... so trust me any good player from that league will always be called by the old franco-German coach.... please next time whenever you wanna argue for a player like Ujah leave Nacho out of it...he is not the cause of the player national call ups misfortune. *thanks |

charlesemeka85: Onyekuru says he wants to remain in Galatasaray where he won the league and cup double last season.
Super Eagles star Henry Onyekuru has turned down a move to Monaco to remain with Galatasaray where he played last season on loan.
Onyekuru was a subject of an interest from Monaco who had agreed on a €15m deal with the forward’s parent club Everton.
Pulse Sports were told that the forward was set to undergo a medical ahead of the move to the French club but the 22-year-old has turned it down to remain with Galatasaray. please you see the reason why sometimes this foreign born players entice me more... just imagine what a promising player is saying... I am sure if he asked for rohr's opinion...the man would have advise him to opt for Monaco... playing in Monaco with a goal above 16 per season will fetch him that work permit with ease...now the guy wanna rubbish his promising epl team all because of few gains now |

RTSC: Imagine a girl as beautiful as genevieve with a PhD in mechanical Engineering.
C'mon, you need to compensate her parent well. so all this while they trained her...they did so in view that they will be paid through her dowry and marriage list. in my place even should a woman have a PhD x 3...her bride price is put at #2500 and the items not more than 20k to be purchased. some families even ask for less.... it does not make sense asking for such a huge sum as dowry and items |

And must you be tall to strike?
Jesus Aguero Ayews etc save for the Ghana mentioned musa is no where near any of those strikers....nahh. those players are technical and skilful players.... please don't ever compare musa to any of them.... |

komekn: Being young and energetic does not equate to physical prowess and dominance.
Every league is different and they are not always the same quality and they all have different attributes and styles.
For instance La Liga is very technical but not as Physical Fast and competitive as the EPL.
This implies that each of these league will have different preferences with player selection.
The Belguim league is not a physical league it's more technical based and isn't on the same quality in any way shape or form as the Bundesliga.
The Scottish league has a low rating in Europe around number 20 but the Belguim league is number 8. Nonetheless, the Scottish league is very physical and requires players to have a good degree of physicallity.
That's why Sadiq Umar completely flopped in Rangers but did above average in the Eredivisie just like the Belguim league it's not very physical. And Sadiq though tall is a paper weight.
Essentially physicality is not an essential player requirement to excel in the Belguim. Why do you think Lukaku was destroying the league at 16 ❓ If I'm right he was the top goal scorer at 16.
So your proposition assumption is wrong.
Please do not misrepresent my comments, you can make informed predictions based on a player current attributes about a player but nobody can determine the future.
My comments were specific , l reiterate with regards to the HERE and NOW Osimhen is very far off from Ighalo and is currently not the solution to Nigeria need for a striker CURRENTLY. your last paragraph carries no weight. when ighalo was 20 he was no where near oshimen at his age... oshimen so far have been on a steady rise....Lukaku tore the league apart when he was 16 only God knows if your assertion is true that he became the league top scorer at that age....and same lukaku replete same performance in westbrom, Everton and man united in close similar fashion.. the Belgian league is a developmental league...and it is not out of place for a young player development. notwithstanding I still see no points in the dust raised that oshimen not being physical enough will stop him from delivering the much needed expectations. mahrez several years ago was acussed by Same Algerian fans to have bribed the then Serbian coach to get a call up in the Algeria team...and today same mahrez have come good... and many others who got their call ups while just coming up from the French academy |

komekn: I have been consistently CONSISTENT in my opinion with regards to Osimhen prior and even now.
A good player with s lot of potential that cam go far I'd he listensvyo advice and is managed correctly.
First of all the only basis for call up to the SE should be Outstanding consistent top quality performances in your club and league. Osimhen had done nothing before he was invited from Wolfsburg youth team.
Meanwhile we had a player tearing up the Austrian league in the name of Kayode.
Now fast forward he took my advice dropped to a lower league and REINVENTED himself. By being outstanding as one of the top ten goals scorerd in the league.
He now has a chance to prove himself in the SE he has been waiting l presume preparing for this one chance. Something you only get one chance you must make good use if it. It can either make or break you.
Prior to him getting noise chance the report coming out of camp were not good. He has a cult following that's emotive sentiment and sentiment based.
We all waited in excited anticipation only bro sorely disappointed.
Now it's become apparent that he is NOT READY YET or maybe NEVER only time will tell. Where the AFCON us concerned he simply doesn't have the attributes required currently.
It's been reported that Ighalo has retired if this is true it's very SAD NEWS he still very relevant for the SE because there is no ready replacement. CURRENTLY. please always try to make your comments brief and straight to the point. it takes too many space.... and for the last paragraph....please go help us beg him to come out of retirement.... you guys believe that we will never get the best...pessimism at its peak. I believe the next striker gonna be more lethal and deadly than him. I wish him...well, he has paid his dues... him leaving gonna pave way for the next hungry lad |

somehow: Too young to retire, he should be made to strike. shouldn't be used as a wingers.
Most of his foreign club exploits has been as a striker at age 26 we are still looking for a place that fits this average player... he should go sort himself out please... we need better players and not putting players upfront based on sentiments. he is not even tall self |

komekn: When we talk about potential it is the clear and apparent ATTRIBUTES required for ascendancy in the game that make us say GREAT POTENTIAL.
At 16 the attributes of a striker were apparent in Balotelli, Lukaku, Zaha, Rooney, etc
I don't see them clearly and unquestionably in Osimhen. He lacks physicality, presence to replace Ighalo. He may develop but for now l don't see them and get showed NOTHING yesterday to say he has. well done seer... your assertion all ridden in prejudice and biased reasoning. just yesterday's match you could assess and forecast his future... abeg save me all that....a non physical player can't play and score goals in the Belgian league where you have young and energetic blood all running down the pitch... |

Meliforme: Compare his output when partnered with a striker in a 4-4-2, 3-5-2 formations with his output when played as a winger out and wide. Musa needs to be closer to the goalpost. closer to the goalposts so that he can keep missing seaters? you guys think musa is in same class with Suarez,Cavani etc... |
