charlesemeka85: alot of pple dont know the politics behind the scene in our football. till date i will take the only positives from buhari emerging as the president of this country was keshi's sack.
Keshi was a mafia and had strong backup politically right from the presidency to the army. keshi almost turned the super eagles to his private venture and all this started after the afcon triumph. pinnick was the guy who only had the guts to sack keshi when he came in as the nff supremo and made the attempt immediately but was seriously warned by the presidency and other top political stalwarts. keshi knew his game was over when jonathan lost and buhari came, if you guys were observant it didn't take up to a month after buhari's swearing in that pinnick sacked keshi exactly you're really knowledgeable. pinnick hands were tired..... then I even wanted Jonathan to loose the presidency because of Keshi.... He almost ruined our football |

Exclusive – Ola Aina Out, Collins, Chukwueze In Rohr’s Starting Lineup For South Africa Tie
Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal that coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr will likely drop Ola Aina from his starting lineup for the AFCON quarter final game against South Africa.
Base on the training session of the team, Rohr has picked Jamilu Collins in the team that contains most of the regular players ahead of Aina who has so far played in every game for Nigeria.
Aina could however shift to the right back position which is his preferred role but Rohr has been very impressed with the performance of Chidozie Awaziem who has filled in admirably well as cover since the injury to regular right back Shehu Abdullahi in the first game.
Another move made by the coach is the decision to hand a start to Samuel Chukwueze for the second time in this tournament ahead of Moses Simon who will be given a rest for the game.
For now the two changes appear to be the ones the coach will likely make to the team that started the 3-2 win over Cameroon in the round of 16.

I don't know what is wrong with Rohr sometimes...a player just returning from injury to start against RSA in the Qfinal.. |

andrew444: If player no make mistake dem no go score goal ,if Cameroon defender defend well self we no go score self ,stop blaming omeruo and enjoy eagles
Save your self the stress about Moses Simon as he will start next game okay ,rohr na defensive coach una suppose know am by now
Stop trying to look for players to bring down God will judge rohr if he tries that nonsense. . it seems chuks have adjusted...his final balls are now better unlike the selfishness he exhibited in the first match and waste he made... if he continues to play like this...he will always gets assists |

Joebie: Decoy., that’s the word. Chukwueze is known to Seesorf, which is why they made a quick substitution and always had two men on him. yea he kept them busy and disorganized their plans.... who knows had it been he was not introduced even if we score... the Cameroonians would have pressured our defense and with their skill they would have gotten a goal. so the lad did a thorough job... ighalo also should be commended... he came to party yesterday. |

andrew444: Moses Simon is a winger and not a wing back ,so because he played as wing back in levante this season you don turn am to wing back abi ?
Moses Simon will start next game ,I don't know why that's a problem to most of you guys
He was poor in attack ,but shebi we win guinea ?
Una self please if you look very well... you will understand that the style of play in his club side has really affected him. Moses that I know prior now was a very deadly winger and also good with free kicks... I don't understand why you ighalo fans are making it look that those applauding chuks and his introduction wanna take the spot light of ighalo... everyone knows ighalo did well...I praised him for that... but notwithstanding Chuks introduction paid off also.... he really kept the Cameroonians busy afterwards. |

jihday: I didn't say you've seen, it's a question I asked, how did you know that Finidi will know better? You guys should cut Rhor some slack he's not been bad, you guys keep making it seem like he's been using Akpeyi as a RB the players he's been using have given a good account of themselves, he's shown he's not afraid to drop non performing players. You people should just quit whining about his tactical proficiency Akpeyi gaving a good account of himself? that guy can't hold a ball... I was surprised to watch the south Africa goal keeper yesterday...I kept asking myself if the dude play with akpeyi in south Africa...too? then why is he exceptional.... please we still don't have a goal keeper... If you don't win this tourney Rohr should be asked to leave us |

naturecures: I read someone comment Chwuks did not effect our game or goals. chai.
Sentiments aside, did anyone noticed how our players were always finding Sammy? for havocs and scoring chances be made.
it is glaring that our players have their choice of player. I dare to say the moment Samuel came in, the midfielders and attackers charged up that even when Seedoff saw it he immediately made a substitution to double their defending from the left flank just because a beast was unleashed.
I'm not very versatile in soccer but I do know the best form of defence is to attack. I don't want to see our only victor moses on the bench again. Rohr can sub him for Onyekuru when he is fatigue and I trust Ndidi to shade the right back when necessary if winger could not track back on time.
Rohr must stop absorbing panics and threat from opponents, but instead he should make oppositions defenders be busy throughout, suffer them using the wings while Iwobi will free to move in the middle untill there is a goal rush.
Whenever Ighalo is tired bring in Osimehen. simple ... or does he needs a prophet to tell that?.
please Mr. Kanu must always be on the Field I saw him doing some mathematics with a coaching staff yesterday. a remembered he was a game reader in those days. don't mind forgiveness.... he does not want to accept it that samu did well... the problem I have with many on this thread...pride will never let them eat their humble pie.. no one knows it all...even when you resolutions fails...speak and say the truth |

TheSuperNerd: Even if all he scored today were penalties or tap-ins... Who cares? Penghalo or not.... My own is this: HE GOT THE JOB DONE AND THAT IS WHY ROHR MUST PLAY OUR MOST LETHAL CREATIVE WEAPONS LIKE CHUKWUEZE who can open up defences with his movements, trickery and his mere presence to create chances upon chances.
Ighalo delivered today and I am glad. He was always going to start and just needed to be fed. I keep saying it... Give him as many chances so that even if he flunks some, we won't have to talk about it because he scored the rest.
Ighalo stepped up indeed and showed "his red eye" as he promised he will show. Unlike a certain Niang Chriskels once said is better than Iggy. Bia Chriskels..Your lobotomy schedule is drawing closer. he would gotten an hat trick...today and that would have been so good for his confidence. good we are rearing to meet Egypt' with this confidence and mind |

Joebie: Akpeyi had one shaky moment. It's guaranteed he will have one of those moments within 90 mins. I hope this AFCON will finally erase all his fear fear. After 90 mins we will know if we will meet the team Rohr has been dreading. I would rather love to meet SA, cuz we need to shut their mojths up for once. that Akpeyi guy is short one.. he is so indecisive... I was so scared...which we had the Cameroonian keeper we won't have comceded so cheap goals... He almost erred at a point thanks to the clearance. you make that mistake against Egypt you're gone |
