This is exactly my point. we should give those at our reach their chance before going for those beyond our reach
Lolll

then siasia is not a good coach...
severally amodu was called in to qualify the super eagles and he was never found wanting in those regard...

same way Oliver Gunar...is doing with Manchester united...the few matches he has anchored he drew or lost none...
someone like siasia will lose even the first match and thereafter cry that he was never given enough time....

that's a lame excuse...a coach ought to have an emergency tactics just to bail him out when necessary....He even claim against guinea that he never knew that drawing that match would have qualified the super eagles...

to show how ignorant he is...he was so unprepared for the super eagles...and still not prepared up till now...

he believes his only way to be a successful coach is by having to coach the super eagles...
amunike has learn move out of his comfort done got a job elsewhere and he is doing fine though currently going through son rough paths...
but siasia still waiting for the super eagles job...
please let's shelve this discussion...even ogunbote is far ahead of him now...I will prefer him to siasia

Siasia is good but remember that we failed to qualify for 2012 due to Eguavoen inept against Guinea in Conakry.Oiseh left the team when it matter most in 2017 and Siasia took over.Pls give Siasia eagles job from the scratch and see a solid team.

Boss, point of correction,1986 AFCON was hosted by Egypt and i remember we lost to Zambia by 1 nil and drew at home in 1985 and this nailed our participation.
egbon siasia flopped twice in that regard...
you don't expect anyone to Give you the super eagles job easily...
you've to fight for it... he failed to seize one of those opportunities to get the job...

that was what happened to zidane... he seized the opportunity and cement his grip on the job same way Oliver solkjaser is doing with Manchester united...
though there different scenarios...
I am just sayn...SiaONE have no excuses..

he messed up

awww...I am really impressed.
these lad deserve a look in...and some here are still crying for Tammy Abraham the English international....

should some Africa countries have players of awoniyi and oshimen kind...they will definitely be in afcon commanding a starting berth...
even countries like Ghana

He was being blunt. We really wanted him but he chose England. Simple as that.
The red carpet treatment was just a figure of speech. I think Akpoguma was even more 'disrespectful' but he doesn't even get half the hate Tammy does.
the English press made Tammy utterance worst and made Nigeria a laughing stock...
it's like a company willing to offer you a job on a platter of gold trying to cajole you from another company's brief...all you could say to the press was such Tammy statement...
how do you expect that company to feel... even when you're just a huge prospect not a finished product yet...

they should come start begging you again so as to get them embarrassed.

you guys seems not to know the precedents this will set for the super eagles....many of the current players will feel they've been belittled..
let's make use of those willing and longing to play for us... rather than go after lads who think they're doing a country of over 200m a favour by playing for us...

Nigeria may not be our dream nation still... Nigeria may not be the best, even the good...but still We love this country...they're many willing to lay down their lives for this country...many of us are here because of our love for Nigeria..and we believe in Nigeria future even though the future look blurred...

so let's use one those lad hungry to play for us...awoniyi and victor are there for grab...also many anglo-Nigerians in the UK will grab the opportunity to play for us if they're approached.

How did Tammy embarrass us? The red carpet comment?
yes bro...that statement was demeaning.
he said even to the press and made mockery of the super eagles...
no reasonable player does that....
you don't go shade your motherland...like that.
I was listening to some foreigners documentary yesterday....from their lips you will know that Nigeria is one nation that often call all Africans whenever they see them.
a reputed huge nation of over 200M people called in to make their player...it was an honour...even the likes of kane will decline with respect...
I see that guy as a rude and proud kid...
we don't need him in the super eagles...

Which big game pressure? Are we playing Spain, Brazil or Argentina in the AFCON?

Yes, we are not happy Balogun is not getting good enough playing time at BHA. We are also not happy that we are not getting up and coming Defenders to put the current first teamers on their toes. But the fact of the matter is that the crop of CB we have can hold their own against any African opposition considering that the only opponents we will engage in any competitive games for the next 3 years or so are African teams. Even the weakest pairing of Awaziem and Ajayi cannot be as bad as we think they are.

IMHO our CB isn't our weakest part of that team.
you're right oga icons.
save for the Libya rematch we have conceded less goals from our defense for sometime nah... the super eagles of before rarely maintain clean sheets...

the team weakest link I think is our top 9 position and the midfield...I thank God mikel has start to play nah and also.... hopefully one of oshimen, awoniyi and possibly the new lad Josh Played their way into the team ...
we can always be sure of support for ighalo from any of the duo...

and also....any news on ighalo possible transfer...the clock is tickening

I wasn’t embarrassed and I’m a Nigerian.
I don't expect you to say something else...
when he is of same tribe with you...

unlike komekn who bluntly don't hide his allegiance for players reason because they're borough boys or warri guys like him...
you silently do...yours..
ever since I know this...I stopped chiding forgiveness because many of us are hypocrites and even worse than him....

so I know even if Tammy was to insult the super eagles...you will never be embarrassed.

the super eagles don't need the dude that much for now....

he can choose to stay in Holland and end his career there.

The money might have improved but the national pride has always been in the game. That is no reason to take it any further than a game. The only thing I won't accept is a player not giving his best. I can understand if the player continuously misses and offers nothing else but for one single miss I can't agree.
oga basco...I really love the way this rangers team plays....
I Must give credit to ogunbote... he is a rare gem..someone I admire so much.
hope that man who took over from aigbogun is still coaching enyimba
also...I so much fancy maikaba and his style of coaching...a man who can create something out of nothing.

I do love this men just the organization of the league I don't like...

O boy loosen up. Nobody wanna berate you.

We have had this discussion over and over again. Nobody is saying there are no overage players there. But since we do not have any concrete evidences what do we do! Ask the NFF to pull them out? Remember there some young players among them too. The other day I was clamoring for the inclusion of Samuel Chukwueze, Kingsley Michael and Orji Okonkwo majorly because they can add value to the team and secondly also to reduce the Average Real age of the team.

My advice still remains if you don't like the looks of those boys just don't watch so that when the tournament start those that watched can analyse their games in peace without having the interference of overage talks. But If you chose to watch and hammer on "the overage talk" all through the tournament, it's your choice.
