I know Pitso had always admired Nigerian football especially as he tasted several defeats from us during his time as the coach of SA but, sorry, the Super Eagles is above his level of coaching.
Besides, can he withstand the mental stress of working with the NFF?

I think the Belgian will do

Owngoal just dribble with their speculations on who the next coach of the SE would be. So:
1) they have already concluded that JP is going, we just don't know the exact timing.
2) they have reported that an unnamed Nigerian would take over.
3) latest is that Tom Sainfelt current coach of Gambia would be named as coach, immediately JP goes. I do like the guy and I think he's hungry for an opportunity to make a name for himself. He has been in Africa for quite a while too.

Anyways, na sidon look we dey for now. I have honestly lowered my expectations for the the next AFCON with JP in charge. Of course, I would love to be shocked, surprised and "shamed" with an overwhelming SE performance.

Can't Sainfelt swap with Pasiero....

I think we can do coach swap

We don’t nurture in eagles but we nurtured Uzoho and Maduka.

Almost January got nothing to do with having new good keeper between the sticks….Oga,Enyeama had his second cap against England after played a mere last friendly match against Kenya in preparation for WC and he spent less than a week in camp to prove that he was ready.

I know much about Enyeama,Ejide and Aiyenugba rise cuz the ex super eagles goalkeeper trainer Amusa Adisa that gave them the opportunities was my university coach

I had discussions with him on the state of our keepers and he said Nwoke,Osayi,Amas and Bankole can do it,just left for eagles handlers to have confidence in them.

I put a call to Dele Aiyenugba on Nwoke based on his performance in Ilorin and he said Egbon make i no lie you the boy is good for eagles.

Sir,nothing special about Uzoho,Maduka and Adeleye that the four rated NPFL keepers will not measure up to,funny Olorunleke Ojo is not even in the picture of rated NPFL keepers.

God bless you Egbon

The problem is Pasiero and the goal keeper trainer even Finidi is a terrible assistant. I am sure he influenced Ojo constant invitation in place of better goalies like Bankole, Amas, Osayi and Nwoke

If sacking pasero will be difficult because of financial constraints , then why not suspend him under the guise that he applied for another job while still contracted to the NFF.

A local coach should be gotten in the interim to prosecute AFCON for us.

I'm really not a big fan of local coaches, but seeing that our local coaches couldn't have performed worse than what pasero had churned out so far, it's choosing a lesser evil.

This NFF president is dull in appearance and actions

The man is just there. I doubt that man and his assistants knows national team football more than some of us here.

He is not active, can't even take decisions. I remember then at least we see Pinnick in stadia watch super eagles matches this one I never see am at all. He does not even make comments or grant interviews

We are really in for a long ride

We're just making sacrifices for the politicians to loot in the NFF

If he starts performing there, what will be the new storyline? That our players were the problem? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Perform where ? He won't stay a year in that job

We can bet money on it.

Someone that got fired twice in a year. He barely last 2 years on a job

There is nothing intelligent about this coach

If it is true Pasiero applied for the Zamalek coaching job. The NFF can use that to sack him like Pinnick did to stephen keshi claiming he was still under a contract when he applied for a coaching job then

The NFF can use that to sack Pasiero

Wuldrum made adjustments but this Portuguese agbaya is stubborn and not ready to make any adjustments. A reasonable coach ought to try other options in goal for now and rest Uzoho even Rohr at a time played Ezenwa and benched fhe foreign goalies

Uzoho cost us draw in one of this two matches

I have never agreed with Peseiro as an option.Any Coach who cannot integrate 4 local based players in His starting 11 and giving them 60minutes playing time or that cannot invite 11 best local players out of 23 to execute games against the likes of Sao Tome, Guinea Bissau and Lesotho should be dumped. You create your identity not by depending on ready made materials for fear but by developing your own brand.
SACK PESEIRO TODAY AND BRING ON ERNESTO VALVERDE TO BE ASSISTED BY MUTIU ADEPOJU.

When last did nigeria home based players did exceptionally well at CAF competitions?

When last did them do well at CHAN even qualify for chan competition?

Whenever you give them chance to play the next day they will move to obscure leagues in eastern Europe or Asia

If Nigeria loses today, Peseiro will be sacked, Eguavon/Salisu will replace him, Nigeria will win a few games due to honeymoon/surprise factor and eventually start loosing again; Eguavon/Salisu will be fired and another random foreign coach hired without due diligence.
Some Nigerians will support the NFF whether they have a reasonable plan or not. These ones are in the same whatsapp group as those who proclaimed that they would vote Buhari out in 2019 if he did not perform, and those who fully expect that they will be able to vote Tinubu out if he does not perform.
The future is for those who plan and prepare, there is no accidental luck waiting around for anyone who is not willing to do the work.

We don't even have good and sound local coaches to manage super eagles.

Equaevon is not supposed to mentioned at all but been that this indigenous coaches see the super eagles job as awolokan they'll keep been recycled. Just too unfortunate

But NIgerians should not unnecessarily badger their coach to produce ridiculous result when he working with mediocre players ....the NIgeria national team is an assemblage of subpar players

Let me say this Bro

Any tactically sound coach at least with 60-70% knowledge of modern football tactics and team selection with a fair and unbiased team call ups and players selection will excel as Nigeria super eagles coach when it comes to africa football.

Nothing else, just get your team selection right and put in the right tactics and do well to read games you'll excel as Nigeria coach
