mank1234: Top on th list is Segun Odegbami and 94 set of SE. You see that 1994 set they're the problem of the super eagles Besides keshi and siasia the rest of them are pests to our football development The earlier we get rid of them off our football growth the better for us |

TheGoodJoe: Honestly, we don't look properly coached but I can't blame Finidi so much because he did have time with the lads.
We are also totally lacking in the midfield to offensive build up play. Our transitioning is poor and we need to plug that gap.
The South Africans will go deeper and that will mean us being more creative in our final passes. Time u say? This guy was an assistant for years just recently So what time does he need? And that's why he beats amunuke and co to the job because he was already used to this lad |

Finidi is the reason why we'll loose this match Why bench moffi/Boniface for Onauchu? My goodness Did he sell this match ?
Moffi lookman and Kelechi upfront would've done the magic since Kelechi and lookman are inverted wingers moffi can sometimes swap positions with them depending on who is with the ball |

EEGA: I just read from owngoal, that Findi is mulling over the possibility of dropping Lookman to the bench against South Africa.
I love his 3-5-2 for the game. But I must say this, Lookman will be crucial to our world cup qualification.
In the AFCON he scored 3 goals in the knock out stages to get us to the final. He scored a hat-trick in the finals of the Europa league. He also scored and assisted in the first-half of their game yesterday against Fiorentina.
He is in hot form and should not be dropped to the bench by any tactician.
I recall Keshi blessed memory was having issues with Osaze Odemwingie prior to 2014 WC.It took a massive outcry from fans for him to be included in the WC squad.Same Osaze qualified us for round 16 with his goal against Bosnia, slotting one past Asmir Begovic his former GK.
Please our local coaches should learn to manage the egos of the high profile players in our team. This was also Sunday Oliseh's undoing. He benched Mikel for Paul Onobi, dropped Enyeama for Carl Ikeme.
We need to make our local coaches understand that good man management is pivotal to having a successful career as a coach.
cc.Icon4s,mrwilliams9,The Goodjoe,Supernerd,Chriskels,Safarigirl. If i have my way none of this indigenous coaches most especially 1994 set will be allowed coach the super eagles. They are egoistic, proud and clueless. Let him bench Lookman and loose that match he will never get to coach the super eagles again |

If Diaz should score hattrick in that final. O ti lo.

Can you name top 4 performers for Madrid this season and let's see if Diaz make the cut But I can name for you 4 top players for Atalanta this season and Lookman name will be there We are talking of impacts and you are mentioning Diaz. We are talking of a player that sets the record of scoring an hatrick in Europa league final and you're mentioning diaz. Even CAF knows that Lookman is in top contention for APOTY. I just pray he replicate a similiar performance against Madrid/Dortmund in the super cup fjna |

Seriously, as Nigeria's players abound everywhere is Ta-ni-mu d best player finidi can call up.
Is the SE a marketing platform for unknown players? You're asking a known question The plan is to market this players including sadiq to obscure leagues abroad and thereafter continue with another round of invitations like the likes of Stephen eze etc This local coaches are good in this, it is a survival stinct If not for the likes of rohr we won't have had so many of this foreign born players like Ademola,Aina etc playing for us today Pasiero barely didn t discover any foreign born player for us except for Bright Osayi I am watching what Finidi will do in that regard Today we are hailing Ademola Lookman as our own but thanks to Rohr that convinced this boy to play for us years ago and I really wish we can get more of them into our fold From CHAN competition we equally get some home based players too that can blend with the foreign born to make a formidable team |

chrisooblog: Honestly I think we all need to chill and give Finidi breathing space to do his job.
What has he done or not done well to be rushing to judgment 'he know be am at all?'
George is one of us who needs all the support to succeed not constant second guessing at this early stage of his reign.
Don't misunderstand me I'm not saying he shouldn't be criticized when he does something wrong but let's give him the benefit of the doubt. The press conference he gave shows what he has to offer and his comment on the captainship in the super eagles The problem of the super eagles is not even leadership but team strategy ànd tactics......that best suit our players. I was one of those that supported his appointment instead of Amunike but with those words from him few days back it raises fear |

🎙Na since Pre-Afcon una don dey try to wan remove Ekong but thanks for the cry of good Nigerians, he got called back to the squad and did the unthinkable.. Some of these 94 sets are stucked in the 90's ...Maybe someone needs to remind Finidi and his cohorts that football they played then, was not the same now and alot has changed within and off the pitch. Tiago Silva is a senior player and legend, He led from behind at Chelsea, with young Reece James as Captain, and Gallagher stepped in most part of the season. [ remind me the left back was the assistant captain if he is fit ] If Ekong is recovering and wont be available, Ndidi steps in as captain and starter.... Omerou is not a starter.... Argue sensibly 🤔 Na so una take lock the door on Balogun for speaking up... ✍️ David Doherty Football Administrator Why do you have to fix what is not broken? Finidi is trying to create confusion in the team already. Why is he starting on a faulty note ? He should just carry on with the AFCON momentum and concentrate on how to build a versatile midfield that has always been the bane of the team. - ✍️ Rotimi Mustapha Note this page doesn't promote violence, Comment respectfully. #teamnigeriauk #SuperEagles #elong #Nigerians #football #soccer #AFCON #worldcup #sports #Nigeria |

COOL10: I just watched Finidi on Arise News and he said that only the oldest players in the team (as long as they're available to start a match) will wear the Captain's Arm Band. The question now is where does this leave Ekong? Where does he rank in that hierarchy? With his amazing performance at the AFCON, he deserves to remain our captain. He has earned that right. This Finidi nor just get sense This one won't stay long as super eagles coach at all You choose captain base on leadership....Ekong was the captain when older players like Balogun was still in the team. Rohr choose him because of his steering leadership traits why alter the captainship structure? If it is not broken why fix it? You see why this one wanna mess up the opportunity to up his profile? Well na him know |
