Gerrard59: Mention THREE black-dominated countries colonised by the French that are richer than Nigeria.
P.S. France is a terrible coloniser. At least, the British bequeathed us with the English Law system and the language, which is the world's business language. How many Nigerians learn French compared to Francophone Africans who learn English so they can access economic opportunities outside France? As for Belgium and the Netherlands, those are baby French.
The British for its all woes were the best colonisers across the world. The results speak for itself.
Don't mind them so many people here don't know how France keep milking her former colonies and undermining them politically Take a look at so many political undeveloped countries in Africa or with dictators as leaders that keep rigging elections and coup plotters they're all French colonies. Fr ance don't care as long as they have a president in this countries that keep promoting their economic interest even if he rules for years.
The English language bequeathed to us by the British is the best gains from colonialism. So many European countries now offer courses in English but check how many English schools offer courses in French
Only 10% of world knowledge on sciences, engineering etc are made available in French majorly in English
I attend meetings with foreigners and they always marvel how I speak English so well.. they feel intimidated most times I mean Europeans
jiz: Other countries no rate that green passport.....
He has over 4 passports including AU Passport. But he said even wit the AU Passport he is still asked to apply for visa prior entering into this countries like it happened in Angola when the president requested to see him
Here is a perfect example of why we should not blame these kids when they choose England, Germany, Holland, or Spain over Nigeria. 🇳🇬🇩🇪🇳🇱🇪🇸
I remember trying to get Lookman Ademola to play for Nigeria, but to no avail, so I wrote to my friend who is the director of grassroots football and education at the FA, who then arranged my visit to see the England U21’s or U20’s. So I went with an old Naija Jersey [Adidas] for all the players to sign. We had some Naija boys on the squad, i.e., Lookman, Tomori, Abraham, and Ojo, to name a few.
Luckily for me, I bumped into Lookman, who was going for an interview, so I stopped, whispered into his ears; You will play for Nigeria. 🇳🇬✌️
His facial expression conveyed his displeasure with my statement. Despite his initial reluctance, I managed to convince him to take a picture with me as proof. Those familiar with Lookman understand his reserved demeanor, akin to the Olise personality type.
The reason I chose this particular scenario is as follows:
- Lookman believed he had an opportunity to play for the England senior team and was hesitant to commit to Nigeria due to his success at the time.
- Aina's situation was more straightforward. He promptly acknowledged that the England route was unlikely, making my approach with him uncomplicated. His father's trust in the process, along with the influence of his close friend Iwobi, facilitated a successful resolution.
In conclusion, I kindly request that we refrain from criticizing Nigerian descendants who initially decline to play for Nigeria. If you were presented with the chance to represent England, Germany, or the Netherlands, would you unequivocally choose Nigeria, even for your child?
Presently, I am pleased that both players are part of our team. Although there are challenges within the NFF, the platform has provided benefits. The significance of the Nigerian factor cannot be overlooked.
For us,we will continue to push behind the scene, what matters to us is a better Nigerian football development for nigerians home & Diaspora

Napoleon55: We need to be serious with our age grade teams and programs instead of continually wishing for players who are not interested of playing for us not until they are rejected by their country of birth .
No matter how bad things are in Nigeria, we are capable of producing talents good enough who would more passionate to represent us and win us trophies. Our home made artistes and athletes achievements is good testament to this.
Not with someone like Ladan Bosso as coach of under 20.
You need an honest and transparent coach to harness talents at the under 17&20 level
Truidstarr: Finish will do very well as SE coach. He was humble enough to admit that he is limited and hired foreign assistants to help him out. He went about getting the job with humility. He will go far. Amokachi will be more of a motivational speaker than coach. If na Amuneke e for no hire any foreign assistant e be like person wey no like share glory with anybody.
Amunike na average coach ridden with pride.
If i am NFF president he won't even smell the eagles job except he perform with an NPFL team
mostob: Ok..I want you to think deeply. How does it sound to your ears when you hear people comparing two teams based on their salary range? Like who compare two players using their individual wages? Does that make sense?
Komekn nor know anything about football
Using wage to tell the potentials of a player shows how daft he is
There are players earning less but play better or with better potentials than those earning pounds in championship and epl
U guys want to market them for eastern European clubs? The likes of Eze and co just give them few minutes afterwards they move to obscure leagues in Europe and we continue another round of invitee for fresh legs
The NPFL players have Chan tournament coming if they play well they'll qualify and get to prove themselves
Marjoribanks: I believe this list cos of Kelvin Akpoguma. When I saw that one of the new assistant coach is from Hoffenhiem, I knew immediately that Kelvin will be part of the list! I trust this list absolutely! My worry is the defense. Too many new faces! Olisa Ndah is on the list too!
Bro you're funny So u believe a list without Lookman?
Whatever issues he have with Lookman he should go settle it that guy is the poster boy of the super eagles
Blueelf: So people are beginning to see how overrated osimhen is o the point where Chelsea fans are saying they don't want him again and would rather stick with Jackson
Time truly reveals all
Even Moffi is better than Jackson I don't blame them They should stick with Jackson
chiboycue: If I were Philip Shaibu, I would have been loyal to Obaseki to the end in order to completed my tenure as deputy governor of Edo State and then vie for the senator of my constituency subsequently
softtorce: But he was not selfish when against all odds he supported Obaseki second term bid ba ?!
You're not from Edo State and u are not based there
We have never had tribal fight in edo state and it is the only heterogeneous state where only one or two ethnic group don't colonize power. We rotate it
SoNature: It seems there's an unwritten rule among governors not to let their deputies become governors. Philip Shaibu was loyal to Godwin Obaseki and even followed him to the PDP when he clashed with Adams Oshiomhole.
You guys are so ignorant and don't know anything about edo politics
We have 3 senatorial zones in edo state with over 7 tribes. We have never had tribal fight and we always rotate the governorship seat amongst the 3 senatorial zone
So u expect us to allow shuabu to be governor? When edo central have not produced a Governor since 1999?
Seunpapa65: In our culture it's believed that woman wey the play away match and use the same hands to Cook for the man can lead to death of the man
Same with ours. I do tell any lady that I am in relationship this. That I can forgive anything but not cheating. The day you cheat that's the end and DNA test is mandatory for all my kids at my birth
My current babe is okay with this and I am good to go. I hate weak men with passion
Pep is one of the coaches who was so obessed with this false 9 tactic. He was so invested in it that he benched Aguero (a prolific scorer) for Gabriel Jesus. Months back, he went ahead and signed Haaland. Arsenal and Arteta were towing this path until realisation dawned that there is still a place for the traditional 9 in modern day football. Fortunately, Havertz saved our blushes. Signing Nunez should tell you Liverpool might be moving away from the false 9 era. Osimhen is one of the hottest striker currently and he will be a perfect fit for them.
Klopp was just forced to twerk and manage with Nunnez profligacy in front of goal that's why it look like he is moving away from the traditional 9 era
Initially he try utilise the potentials of both mane and Sallah with selfless Ferminiho playing as 9 it was more easier for him.
Liverpool will jump at the opportunity to have a sharp 9. Owen, Torres, Suarez were top 9 that played for Liverpool
First of all Liverpool have never played with a quintessential number 9. They don't have a pyramid structure and have not for a long time. The number 9 is almost an appendage a kind of AM.
Firmino was the perfect example, the majority of goals 🥅 came from the inverted winger's or rather forward players coming from the wings. For example past and present, Mane, Salah, Diaz, Jota , Nunez, etc
Nunez has been struggling he is more of a number 9 but has found himself as an inverted forward coming from the wings.
VO has many attributes but being technically astute and playing on the wings is not one of them, IMO.
In addition there are two new Directors not Klopp guys Edward one of them comes from the mindset of not playing with a quintessential number 9. The other Director Hughes will follow the lead of Edwards.
In addition the new Dutch coach as is rumoured, Slot is not going to do dramatic changes in my opinion. I personally don't think he is a good fit for Liverpool and this could be there own Achilles heal.
Consider all the quintessential number 9 bought by Liverpool apart from Torres none have been able to have an impact. Players like Benteke, Carroll, Balotelli, Nunez, etc
Having all this in mind l don't think going to Liverpool is a great fit for VO.
So when Suarez and Torres played there they didn't play as 9
Oga just go forward state your biased and lopsided statement on why you don't want him there.
Don't act as if you know football tactics and the club playing pattern. Most especially with a new coach on board
Do u know how Feyernood plays ?
Dessers was their striker last season they played conference final with this man as coach
