JohnBullMySon: The funny thing here is that, being realistic, Cape Verde's chances of winning that Tuesday match is almost zero. If you notice, our team mostly struggles against a team that came to draw. And honestly, you can't possibly thrash a team that came to defend. The only major problem with our team is that we miss clear chances a lot. Without those silly misses, we should be giving those small defensive minded African teams at least 2 nil.
Rohr's preferred tactic is counter attack, because we have excellent attackers, that's why it is difficult for big teams to overcome Nigeria. Once the game is equal in possession, the team finds it easy to score. But once the opponent is laid back, na wahala because we are not yet at that elite level of creativity to tear defences open easily. So if you sit back against Nigeria, you have a chance of winning or drawing. If any of those teams had tried to keep the defence line higher, trust me na 4-nil or above.
However, for Cape Verde, coming to Lagos to sit back, will be very difficult for them to do, even if the coach says so, given that they have more at stake and sitting back will more likely lead to a draw than a win. So their only option is to score an early goal, then sit back. But that will be a gamble for them, because Rohr's counter attack strategy could lead to a goal in their net and keep them attacking, which will result in more goals against them, trust me. So very likely Rohr will start Chukwueze or Ejuke.
The game will tilt to who scores the first and earliest goal. Nigeria is the favorite here, due to a deadlier attack. I only pray that Sierra Leone doesn't happen again. It's very unlikely though. It seems u dont know rohr Mark this...the German will stick to same line up that played against Liberia I know rohr so well he is very conservative and does not change |

JohnBullMySon: The only issue I have with Rohr is his insistence on attacking from the wings when we play possesion games against small teams. It obvious we are not passing well enough in the box to score often. We can try sudden outside 18 ground or low shots from unlikely places. Pass, pass, pass then somebody just shoots. That shit works so well in Africa, I've watched a couple of CAF games and it leads to goals more often than you'd think. It may look amateurish but it still works. Don't be surprised none of this super eagles coach know what you put up there especially rohr He has nothing upstairs when it comes to reading and analysing a match |

ChrisKels: Putting Awaziem on the Right would force me to play either Balogun or Ekong. I wouldn't go that route because while Ekong is erratic, Balogun is too soft and slow though celebral. I aint sold on Collins and Zaidu, but I would pick one, preferably Collins because he is more mature though average.
If I had a full house, Aina is occupying the LB position, Ebuehi to the RB, while Akpoguma and Awaziem anchors at the CB. How wish Rohr can take this risk against Liberia. But still the conservative coach will barely make any change |

Arabiandude: If we are sincere, then the truth has to be said. It could be Napoli pattern of play or their wingers aren't good with the ball or because they just choose personal glories, but trust me, Napoli wingers aren't doing enough for their top 9. Have you watched Ajax, Dortmund, Bayern or even Juventus or Man U play? Their wingers are always assisting their top 9 with split passes and crosses and that's why you would see someone like Haller scoring goals aplenty because Ajax wingers, e.g Anthony are always on the watch out for him.
Aside this topic, that guy called Anthony at Ajax is a rear gold that lot of big clubs aren't looking at yet Thank u It shows u watch napoli matches and understand football |

The players are selfish even free kicks that were supposed to be crosses with tall players like Jesus and oshimen inside 18 yard box insigne will shoot wide Lozano had an opportunity to pass the ball to elmas for a goal but instead shot wide With the way Napoli plays i doubt if they can win seria a I rarely miss their matches but they rarely play as a team |

I will not put anything past our administrative style. We are Nigerians we know how we do things at home.
Modified I have been searching Google News (Canada English), I can't even find anything on Ugbo's switch to Canada prior to the recent news. I thought u said u leave outside the country U seems to be so concerned and used to mediocrity or stagnant mode of recruitment We need to embrace global changes and move same pace with the world I hate it when we see nothing wrong or seems to get used to Nigeria administrative lopsidedness Just imagine our female football is going way side already and lots more |

This Ugbo is warming the bench for Onuachu who’s kinda surplus to requirement for us. So why should we chase him? I am not arguing this for Ike. I am talking on the need for the nigeria football authorities to up their approach in getting this foreign born talents because i feel same lustre attitude probably is been put up towards others |

Joebie: John Herdman: It was a 3-year process to land Ike Ugbo for Canada Chelsea tried to block Herdman's pursuit of the young forward. But in the end, the Canadian coach got his man.
John Molinaro
Nov 5, 2021 • 5 min read John Herdman
If nothing else, John Herdman is persistent.
Don’t try putting a roadblock directly in front of the Canadian men’s team coach. He’ll only bust through it, or find a way to navigate around it, and continue down the same path before eventually arriving at his intended destination.
A day after forward Ike Ugbo announced his plans to switch national associations from Nigeria in order to represent Canada, Herdman revealed it was a long process that was rife with many obstacles early on. Herdman ran into a brick wall when he first contacted Chelsea FC three years ago about wanting to talk to Ugbo, then a member of the Blues’ youth setup, about the possibility of playing for Canada. See persistence, pursuit and commitment Thats something the nff need to employ in pursuit of foreign born kids while we harness tge home groomed talents |

Danielnino00: Your obsession with seeing foreign born players litter the national team isn't making you reason objectively..
Are you expect Pinnick and Rohr to be calling and begging them to come play for us? The simple thing is for them to publicly declare interest, then from there we can start the process of clearing them.... I used to think you reason objectively I made my comment preceding the previous post i made regarding how Ike switch was sabotaged prior he opt for Canada If the NFF was competent as u try argue why was the process fouled U need to start thinking both ways |
