TheGoodJoe: See how Cancelo and Bernado Silva are developing. Iheanacho is looking for sex parties. Wa Lai, life is not balanced.
This thing boys are running up and down on the fields of Nigeria looking for, guy man Nacho is looking for bed records. That's the problem with many of our home groomed players reason why I respect Oshimen here Many upon getting to Europe they think they've arrived and been not disciplined they start partying, clubbing and more. Just same way we have unserious student likewise we have unserious footballers Being that this home groomed players weren't schooled in European state of the art academics already put them at a disadvantage against their European counterparts meaning they will need to work and train extra hard to meet up but many dont know. Talents is not enough to make it possible you need discipline and hard work too Sometimes you see us here canvassing for foŕeign born we are doing this because of the exposure, learning and rudiments of football they've been exposed to besides the real age factor. Many of our home groomed players upon getting overseas they lost it

Don't mind them they are all bunch of thieves...the real people who really love the game will never get the chance.
Adokiye and Odegbami are not corrupt but guess what they will never get the opportunity even government don't want them near NFF presidency. I tell u I have never seen an honest politician from delta state The political class there are so corrupt remember nadeltdu election then in UNIBEN and how the SUG election was. I am just weak that a southerner made a mess of the NFF like this unlike when the Northerners were heading the federation... besides Galadima others did fairly better than Pinnick especially Maigari |

It is impossible and illogical.
Some players are quality but lack the right technical guide and system to show themselves. Such kind of player will look poor if not given the right opportunity.
Some players just need a room to show their talent.
At the end, the search can't stop because hidden gems are always there. I just dont understand u just when everyone here have begin to hail your foot ball knowledge and even recommending u go into football as manager...You've start to show us your hidden agenda of grooming and unearthing gems in the NPFL a league where u can rarely find 23 - 20 years old balling |

lovewins: I am not even making a case for development here. The job of a national team coach is to get the best team possible for the super eagles however possible. If it means exploring options in Nigeria, then he has to. I agree that Europe has better pitches and training facilities just the same way they have better schools and laboratories, it doesn't automatically mean that training in Europe is the only metric for success. I'll never subscribe to the "it has to be white to be right" thinking. I am so sure that players like Onyedika, Onyeka, Ndidi,Amoo, Nacho and many others would have been wallowing obscurity and under developed skill sets if they had not travelled abroad... Nigeria system kill dreams and talents bro. It does not help u develop or grow your potential and such become stunted or suffer deficit growth... Many of our NPFL players can barely do well in standard league abroad because they were not schooled in the basics of football thats why It is easier for our academy players to adjust and learn even at that it takes time for them to aclimatise |

yinkeys: It’s true I totally forgot about the corrupt angle lol You’re right about NFF
I agree with most of what you put down In Keshi’s time, I heard he was 100% in charge of the team. He had disagreements with NFF which lead to his sack. I don’t think his sack was based on performance In summary, let’s see European based Eagles performance in January
What do you think about Herve Renard the Saudi coach ? I doubt nff will be able to pay such His salary would probably be double that of Rohr’s We need look away from Renard he is not available the Saudi team is not one a coach will like to stay because of the money but also they're ambitious team considering their dominance in Asia tourney and also Arab cup competition forget the fact that they barely do well in world cups even Nigeria Is in same category so for now we need look away from Renard Let us cast out net elsewhere in Netherlands/Spain/South America We can get good coaches there |

Why are people supporting a lazy coach Oh well let’s give him one last chance at the nations cup U talk as if u know me so well Never u generalise or assume someone who dont know his drive or goals More so I want rohr out but your premise or argument for reserve quota for home based players is flawed in my opinion.... even the quota system will be used to call up a player that happens to be boys of the NFF vultures not even the best. The NPFL players should utilise the CHAN competition well to launch themselves |

charlesemeka85: wetin Dey kill una and still be a menace and cankerworm in Nigeria as a whole is sentiment and prejudice
Oga like I said before dis una pity and clamour for home based players will never work. It is the duty of grassroots and youth team coaches to discover talents and if this talents do well in competitions they will be recommended to the snr national team coach for him to hv a close look
No right thinking national team coach will ignore players in top leagues in Europe doing well for those back. This can only happen when we lack a decent player in one of the positions in the team
Local based players lacks the basics and exposure to excel in tournament like the World Cup. The so called players aren’t even the best in African club football.
No be the same home based players I watched against Mexico? Don't be surprised dude is one of those players in NPFL. They NPFL have the CHAN competition to explore and launch themselves for better things and also progression upwards into the super eagles |

yinkeys: I don’t understand what that means but from an analytical stand point Keshi mixed both home & foreign based Keshi’s model is obviously the best to be followed for any country to progress The coach is the problem not really the players in my opinion. An example back then Oboabona In my opinion there should be like at least 10% quota for home based players Bro...no thing like quota system For sometime now home based players given the opportunity to play always use the privilege of 2 or 3 caps to whisk to obscure leagues abroad. So bro, what the national team needs is a standing under 23, 20 and under 17 teams that will always be engaged and as well make way for gradual progression. So stop this quota based practises, the best where ever they play should be called and played. The CHAN is there for the Home based eagles to use project themselves to the national team coaches and the world |

lovewins: Having thousands of players in Europe doesn't necessarily mean they are the best for the team. Europe is filled with average players who only leverage on the glamour of the league and playtime to get recognition. The best of our current crop of players began from Nigeria, that alone is testament to the fact that if we put in the work to scout and develop we'll find numerous talents who can play for the eagles. But that's not the work of the national team coach to do Players domiciled in Europe are exposed to world best academics, training facilities etc so u can't compare them to what obtainable in the NPFL Yes we have lots of raw talents in Nigeria academics but they need to discover, groom and harness them into cadet teams there after the national team coaches can pick the best amongst the lots after some years |

That being said, I detest unfair labor practice and owing people. NFF should, first of all, find money to pay him. He has achieved one of his targets...
I just don't like this business where we are notorious for not paying people for job done. Whether we are happy with the work or not. Joezinho: Maybe he was working and hanging on based on promises.. Remember results wasn't this bad initially.
Rohr has done one thing right, he has invited the best crop of players, he has spotted talent when they are unknown and given them a career, he has raised the bar with the standard of players been called up, the heyyous and useless backwater league players like Turkey have reduced drastically. He hasnt taken us to the dark ages where we had the likes of Oshaniwa, Chiogozie agbim, Egwuekwe, Ruben Gabriel, Uchebor, Ebenezer kunle, Uche Nwofor etc in our squad to the WC!!
His biggest sin is that he has showed poor ability in molding a team that plays NIgerian football. Rather than fire Rohr, he needs a Nigerian Assistant that would ensure we play the attacking style of football. Yobo, Salisu the criminal and eguaveon are all dunderheads. Rohr is too conservative He spots talent invite them and make them sit on the bench He can barely read games and make tactical subs He does not understand tactics neither does he mould his team to play according to tactics His pattern of play is archaic and barely produce goals and does not even know how to use the talents at his disposal C'mon that man is a disaster waiting to happen if we don't let him go now we will regret it later mark my words |

MetalJigsaw: Eagles Attacking Problems In The Play-offs News Hub Creator As we approach the final Play-offs stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifying Series which is just a couple of months away, there is need to start mapping out the strategies on how to defeat our next opponent.
The Play-offs round is certainly not going to be easy for all the teams and that is why Gernot Rohr and his coaching staff must start preparing from now.
One area that the Super Eagles must fix in order to cross the last hurdle and book a place in the world Cup at Qatar is the attacking position. This is because the goal ratio of the team has been poor when compared with the past records.
Even though Victor Osimhen has been impressive for the team in the previous games, he still lack partner that can compliment his effort. The Napoli striker needs somebody who can help him utilize the number 9 position of the team. This is why Gernot Rohr needs to bring in Cyriel Dessers to fill the vacuum.
The Feyenoord forward could be deployed to play just behind Victor Osimhen. They can also interchange the position. In this case, there will be no need for a single striker to carry the burden of scoring goals alone as we have seen in the past games.
I believe if Cyriel Dessers is invited, our attacking problem would be solved. The problem of this team is not the striking department The problem is in the midfield and wings they're not creative enough Playing Simon and jamilu on the wing back role affects the team creativity upfront. A midfield of Iwobi (AM) Ejuke and Chuks on both flanks will produce goals and a defense of Akpoguma and balogun as CB can birth goals too from set pieces especially Akpos while Aina/Tyrone be deployed as RB and Zaidu as LB |

Sunday Dare said by next week Rohr will know his fate and it depends on NFF report on Rohr. An other sound foreign coach should be contacted The problem is having to put another clause in his contract that may discourage The sport ministry from going after another foreigner. But for now Rohr does not have what it takes to manage this team at all |

Oasis001: A tactically sound Coach has the Tools to succeed as Super Eagles Coach.
Maduka still gonna get picked ahead of Uzoho by any Coach as GK.
Backline..... Aina, Akpoguma, Balogun and Sanusi should always be the first Choice based on Form and Clubs' pedigree.
Middle...... Onyeka and Ndidi pivot gonna be hard to break.
Attacking Midfielders...... Chukwueze, Iwobi and Aribo.
Forward.... no other choice but Osimhen.
Musa, Simon, Onuachu, Shehu, Omeruo shouldn't ever make the List again. Instead, Awoniyi for Onuachu, Ebuehi for Shehu Lukman for Simon, Moffi for Musa, and hopefully Olise or Ejaria for Omeruo (enough of packing Defenders in the Squad).
