It was Imama that failed to qualify CHAN for the mundial.... Salisu qualified the team when he was incharge and won the silver medal the few times he managed the team.... they played an attractive football

Keep it simple - The Philosophy of Xavi in a nutshell.

"I think he follows the same philosophy as Guardiola," Al Sadd's Guilherme Torres told ESPN. "Having possession and enjoying the game, but not just having possession. Sometimes you see teams with 80% possession, but only one shot on goal.

"[Xavi] likes to be aggressive, fight for the ball, play in the opponent's half and play with intelligence. He likes it when players are happy on the pitch -- I think the same way he was [as a player]. He likes to put a lot of pressure on opponents in their half. That's how he understands football."

Before the rise of Guardiola and Enrique, I have always believed a system that will have us playing aggressively, with high stamina and running will most suit us.

We have been blessed with runners with high stamina through time. Recently, Etebo, Ndidi, Ejuke, Chukwueze, Osimhen, Onyekuru, and a host of others.

We need a formula to play with that will align with the best attributes of our players.

I believe the above philosophy closely matches it.
U need get your coaching badge lets see what u can bring to the table

Rohr going was never the problem but the replacement na the koko.

Whoever they hire should be someone who can improve our attacking play massively.
Exactly

We should go for Spanish or Dutch coaches sha and stay away from french and German guys

That bank MD must b a football enthusiast

But this time around the NFF should screen competent coaches not the mode rohr was appointed pinnick claim he was recommended by Wenger

Humility, you na my guy, but with all due respect bro, this is a very stewpid suggestion to make. Rohr should go sort himself out else, we no dey run charity organisation down here.

Hmmm If this is true then I'm kind off conflicted. Not that Rohr hasn't had it coming his tactical nous has been very poor just not sure if it would automatically lead to improved team performance that this decision has necessitated. Whatever the final decision always backing the team 100%
It seems u guys dont know how abysmal rohr is

His line up is a major problem and he can't read games and know when to make tactical subs

That is poor as a coach.

If true, it will be terribly untimely and unprofessional
The sack should have come long b4 now or wait after the qualifiers
There is nothing untimely here bro

Nigeria always get to the semis in any nations cup outing and the world cup qualifiers is march so there is still time

You dont delay in ridding off square pegs in a round hole epl clubs does this and they excel like Chelsea so why can't we do same.... the focus should be on getting capable replacement

You guys dont even know that we may not qualify for the world cup with the way the team plays

grin

If indeed Rohr is sacked.... who should replace him? Salisu? With Yobo as Assistant? That'll be from frying Pan to Fire.

If we choose to go local, who should NFF hire? Amuneke? Are we sure he's ready for the Job and he's incorruptible?!

Is he tactically capable to play attacking (tiki taka) football without Team losing balance and vulnerable?!

Let's discuss.
Salisu is better than Rohr bro

The few matches he managed including the Home based afcon he did better than Rohr and his team tactics much better

Make una calm down. There is no official statement from NFF yet, thus its still a Rumor, perhaps Grapevine.

I wish Rohr stays though. This is not the right time to do away with him. I want him gone but not now, at least after AFCON.

If he's not sacked before AFCON, he's definitely gonna adjust his style of play and stop being Conservative.

Nigerians don't like boring football. Entertain us and win..... that's what we are used to.
This is the best time to sack him..

The man brings no thing to the table

Any new renowed coach will do better
Chelsea did same with Lampard and achieved much so we can do same nothing new there

Incredible: Mali won group E without conceding a single goal.

-6-Matches
-5-wins
-0-Loss
-1-Draw
-11-Goals scored
-0-Goal conceded

But but but Nigeria will defeat Mali after suffering defeats at home in the hands of CAR and playing boring draws against Cape Verde. Well, I hope with meet Mali grin

Me want Nigeria not to qualify for this world cup

At least anything that would make them sack rohr is welcome by me.

Either we loose the play offs or we exit the afcon at the quarter final stage

I concur 100%.

Nigeria is broke, NFF is broke, there's no money to pay Rohr his salary arrears, no money to pay him off and certainly no money to get a good foreign coach (Please no one should mention hiring Local coaches).

Buhari, Emefiele and Min Of Finance will chase Sunday Dare and Pinnick away if they come to FEC meeting to ask for $$$ to hire a new coach and pay off Rohr.
Can't the NFF send him on a refresher course or to understudy pep guardiola briefly prior the world cup.... he should be made to understudy the Spanish tactician so as to up his game

The nff technical committee need to start putting pressure on him and questioning his style of play by so doing he will understand that it is not business as usual
