Please someone wan help my friend get job in Ireland . As a forklift. With 2 years work permit and Visa.
He has told the guy to attend at least 2 months or 3 months training in Nigeria.

And then get a certificate of forklift from a certified company in Nigeria..

The hourly pay is 15 pounds.
My only question is..

Is this forklift job stressful... Please just asking for a friend.. Any body in the field here. Anyone doing forklift job here abroad?

Someone here applied 4 different times and the visa got rejected over same purpose. I personally visited Home Affairs in Brooklyn about a year ago to carry out some findings/"inquire" on the issues surrounding frequent rejections of evisas. If you have been following me, i made known the report here as at that time. Truth is the system is corrupt and they are hoarding these visas as alleged from people i spoke with . @dende3 is that the package you mean? Please clarify

If you want to apply for SA, stay with SA, Gather your info and PUSH. Be decisive. Visa shopping is an offense and can have severe consequences as Kel highlighted.

It is up to the visa officer to decide your visa validity.

1. Being a second time traveller, limit the duration of your trip to 1 week.

2. I do not think you should apply for longer stay, as that is specifically designed for people who intend to stay in Europe for more than three months - and you MUST show cause why you should be granted such.

3. You may still be granted a long validity visa (at the discretion of the visa officer). However, of granted, you are not allowed to stay more than three months.

Hello House, please I need your advice.
I got my South African study visa in March. I had my baby in February and applied for his accompanying visa in April. Up till now, I have not gotten any response from the embassy.
In May, I got an email from VFS saying the visa had been sent from the embassy to VFS, but afterward I got a call from VFS telling me not to come, that they would call me again. I later went to VFS in person, and they said the mail was autogenerated.
Right now, I’m very confused because I was supposed to resume my studies in May, but I cannot leave my baby behind.
Please, has anyone experienced this before? What can I do next?

I actually just went to the BLS office today for the Walk In option. I was told that Its isn't available now.

This is because there hasn't been appointments for a while now, the office is also empty.

I was told that the walk in option is only available when appointments are ongoing. In that case, if someone misses theirs, the person seeking Walk In can be given the slot, at an extra cost.

I applied for Spanish Schengen visa since July 10th 2025, I’m still yet to get my passport. The people at the visa collection center BLS Spain told me that all the visa officers at the Spanish embassy resigned, hence the reason for not getting a response from the embassy. They also informed me that they haven’t had appointments in 2 weeks. This is so disappointing, all of my efforts and resources wasted.

Simple instruction. "Walk in" what were you expecting them to tell you over the phone, so you will put them in trouble.

I said, walk in and request . You have to prove to them why it is urgently needed. They will give you a slot for submission.

What do you mean by off site work. You can not work on a business visa in spain.

Nah, it won't have any effect on his application. The highest they would have done is to remove an important document, which is an indictment on their part - as they are under obligation not to accept incomplete documents. So where the document come follow loss?

They have done this to me several times, and I usually didn't pay attention. Until recently when I requested to know what I was paying for - the rude staff showed me my receipt and I saw "Premium Lounge", a service I never used. After she gave me my correct bill and I paid, I still requested to see the manager who apologized sincerely.

A similar thing happened at their Denmark section. On the day of my appointment, they just arbitrarily said every applicant for Denmark, Norway, Portugal and Ireland MUST used premium lounge - I refused, and asked to see the manager, apparently he was the one who gave the directive. I was allowed to use the regular service.

I do hope he has a successful outcome in the end.

Well, being rude is not an exception. One time i had confronted one of them too, later we became friends and they also advised me on my long term tourist visa, i got subsequently. You can make a good situation out of a bad one. I dash them monies, so i dont understand why they may want to be nasty. You see the people at embassies, commercial banks, and those major centers are not to be challenged sometimes.[emotional intelligience] But we learn everyday, I wish you the best on your application.

I understand your point as well but how else can I apply diplomacy if the guy trying to overcharge me is sounding rude and telling me every other person has been paying 37400 without asking questions just because I requested for a breakdown of whatever I'm paying for

I hope that event does not have a turn around on your application. The people at vfs can be nasty but you are supposed to use diplomacy with them. This thing is not new and i do not support sharp practises but these guys .

I paid 241k for express, they didn't give me the option of paying the regular fees (which is like half). After my interview, they handed me a document with payment instructions and asked me to pick up my visa the next day.

Embassy is on Constitution Avenue, Abuja.

If someone comes here to tell you they recently got an approval. Sometimes it can be scam. Because they know you would dm them, to ask about how they successfully processed theirs
