A friend met me for advise so I decided to bring his story here for a more broader thoughts from especially the experienced amongst us.

He works in Nigeria with a salary of about 600k monthly, he was able to raise 50m for japa which will cost him and his family about 36m to UK on study route.

Due to the current inflation, his office did a 100% salary increment making him to earn 1.2m monthly net.

His confusion now is, should he still japa or remain in Nigeria now his salary has improved?

I have a question please. I plan to apply to travel to France. My proposed travel date will be in July. However my documents/ bank statement will not be ready until May end. I am reading on here that the wait time for biometric is long.
Is it possible to book for biometric in advance before submitting my documents?

Or all my documents must be ready for submission before I can book an appointment for biometric ?
If its like that, Do we think its feasible to submit in May end, do biometric afterwards and get the result of visa outcome by mid July?

Yu did well with the documentation. Please understand that visas are approved at the discretion of a consular and not at the influence of any corresponding party. These documents are very ok, though we can not ascertain their substantiveness. I can understand your pain but let us do this. Appeal this visa refusal to clear their doubts and have it documented, then build your travel history by visiting more countries. Probably after 2 months, you can apply again for schengen. This is a technical advisory. If you wish to apply for an appeal, you can do it by writing the mail of the embassy or via post to nantes,france.

You can apply yourself by reading through last 10pages on here. You did help yourself through intentional research work. Agents can charge you any amount they like , even abroad , they charge too. I can confirm that after the South African High Commission received our letter yesterday through DHL, they have contacted our business partners in SA to confirm the invitation letter they sent us. They also requested that they respond urgently to enable the High Commission process the visa in good time.

For those who care to act, If your trip is justified and proven, send your letters to the embassy for immediate attention.

I submitted a 14 days insurance, requested for 14 days but was granted 90 days multiple entry.

More likely because it is his first shengen visa .

You see the bolded maybe the reason you got the visa. SA is gradually becoming something else, you need to read comments here. If you escape bank statement palaver, you may not be lucky on yellow fever . All the same, Congratulations.

Thank you bro for the information, like you said, some of us don’t have mind as we can’t afford not to go there for one reason or the other and you know these people look for any excuse to deny visas. Thank you once again for this information.

High time alot of you wake up and stop being afraid of victimization. The way and manner South Africa treats Nigerians across all levels is very bad and should not be tolerated. Even if you signed any sort of agreement, it does not mean you should wait 2-3 months for visa outcome.
It is outrageous.
As you can see, south Africans are very loud and would not blink an eye if reverse was the case.
They are always ready to revolt.
So if your tourist visa is already almost 2 months, start sending your letters immediately to the embassy, let them begin to feel the heat.

If you want a faster response, make it look that way, else, your letter will be seen as an appeal.

All this complaints here does not hold water, if you need quick answers, petition or write the embassy through a lawyer. Na small money

They will ask dhl to take that letter to Freedom way, ikate

One of my staff did this yesterday. He's to attend a meeting in two weeks. DHL went to deliver at 4pm today and met the embassy locked. Hopefully they receive it tomorrow.

They will mostly do that, however if the letter was drafted by a lawyer, they will honor it.
