Arbitrage games trading no longer profitable for close to 2 months now, you can hardly see errors from them as arbitrage gaming means feeding on bookmakers errors , i have stopped trading it, but it may swing back to full business as soon as as new football season resumes.
So if still interested, i can put you through during my free periods, please i don't mean to advertise arbitrage game trading here and i don't expect people to request for more info.
As i have said, it's no longer profitable as most bookmakers have upgraded their system to have fewer odd errors, but not zero error.
One question, can one lose money on an arbitrage stake?

Nawaooo

That guy is there bleeding out,
People are around him taking pictures.
Collectively, they have more than enough resources to get him to a hospital, or Atleast check his pulse or lay him on the side to clear his airways.

At first glance, there’s a good chance he’s still alive and clinging on to life but unconscious and may just suffocate on his own blood!

Rather than help, they’d prefer to take pictures and post online.

The reasoning of most Nigerians is just extremely backwards!

During my undergraduate days, a woman was in a bike accident, everyone thought she was dead and as usual( they gathered around her and saying “this woman will not die in Jesus name”.
I was taking a bike to my cousin’s place when I saw the crowd and decided to see what’s going on. As soon as I made my way to the front, I immediately sprung into action, felt for her pulse, asked the people to move back to allow enough air circulation, then I too off my shirt used my unsterilized clothe to Apply pressure to the place blood was gushing from.

Her pulse was really faint and her body morbidly cold. My actions slowed down the bleeding and then I called on a bike man (a spectator) to take us to hospital, the bike man ran away. Eventually, a car was made available by a nearby hospital after about an hour or so.

My actions that day stopped her from bleeding out and that woman is still alive today thanks to my quick thinking and action.

God bless the good people in Nigeria. Shame on the rest.

The Nairaland admins should stop moving gory pics like this to the front page. What if it was your brother or sister or mother or father? Or loved ones and friends that have their last last moments on earth shared for online likes and comments... we all have to collectively do better
You know I also used to wonder why people would gather at an accident scene and no one would want to help take the victim to hospital or even touch the victim, until I witnessed how the Nigerian Police Force can mess one up for taking an accident victim to the hospital especially if the victim does not survive, you can automatically turn into a suspect and you and I know what happens to suspects in the hand of NPF. Its a really messed up situation.

After humiliating Funke and JJC, they still go ahead and violate the same rule they punish others for!

My country Epitomizes a society without justice!
Such society can never have peace.

E.g. the founder of Boko haram was the extrajudicially executed; today we have a Boko Haram that is 1million times more deadly.

Ken saro wiwa was executed on the orders of a kangaroo court, today we have militant groups well armed and able to bring the country to its knees.

Corruption was neglected and even praised, today we have one of the poorest countries on earth.

A country without justice can never have peace.
Nigeria my country.

Business / Re: Nigeria Slashes Crude Selling Prices To Woo Buyers by Hungarriman: 3:19pm On Mar 24, 2020
EngrXrix:

Not really. The maths behind this is that Nigeria has to ramp up production. Probably by 50% more. It is better to sell a product for 5 naira and have 100mil buyers than sell for 100naira with only 10000 buyers. It’s same principle the saudis are using. By selling cheaper we get more customers then we can balance out the negatives of the trade. This may even lead to employment in exploration and production only diff is salaries won’t be as big as before.
Just Incase u are wondering, I’m in the system and this I know as a fact.
But seplat and shell said that they will be cutting cost and reducing their drilling from 15-20 wells and focus on 3-4 wells and I believe what they are doing is not in anyway ramping up production.

Education / Re: Lecturer Explains Why Nigerian Youths Prefer Studying Abroad by Hungarriman: 4:46pm On Mar 19, 2020
magicminister:
I am your typical 2.2. graduate from a federal University in Nigeria. I was frustrated and treated so badly by the people that should've mentored me and encouraged me to grow. Fortunately, i was able to pursue a masters degree abroad and made a 3.9/4.0 gpa.

That was when i realized that i am actually not a dullard but the Nigerian public education system failed me... Even if you want to go to school in Naija, i strongly strongly advise you go to reputable private school like covenant. They might have stringent rules but at least you are sure that your effort would not be thwarted by a lecturer because he saw you eating isi-ewu at a bar or for some other stupid reasons!!

Graduating with a 2.2 automatically denied me many opportunities. I was pretty much ineligible for employment in most Nigerian companies, my dream of going to an IVY league school was out the window.
Public schools in Naija isn’t worth it!!! You’re better off with a 2.1 from a mushroom private school than a 2.2 from a public school!!!
Words on Marble, Chief.
Truer words have never been spoken.
