Good evening NL's, hope we're all having a wonderful 2022.

I'm an intelligent, smart and hard working guy. I'm not really an introvert because I do visit places.

The issue is, I always prefer to be an assistant than to be the Leader. Infact despite been good at what I'm doing I hate taking the Lead. Another thing is...If I work as your asst. and I'm doing my job very good, I'm fond of diverting the thanks and gratitude to you (the boss).

During my Nysc 2019, I was elected to be the Financial secretary in our CDS but I declined, I said I would rather be the asst. Fin sec.

I attend Winners, last sunday (1st Sunday) our senior pastor called out new excos that will be running the church affairs all through this year and to my greatest surprise, I was privileged to be the Head of technical unit.

I rejected it, I met with the pastor after service, He said I should write him a letter stating why I don't want the position and why I also chose to be the assistant, then if i convince him enough, he will reshuffle it.

Despite been a graduate in Accounting, I'm also a good sound engineer, Infact I lecture even graduates in engineering how to set and control sound (Pls I'm not bragging, I'm Jst telling you how serious the issue is).

I don't like Leading. I don't know if it's normal.

I'm on this table too.

Some guys are so rude. I was walking on heels one day, about to take a bike to church and some guys on my street started making jest loudly and laughing, saying 'who send you, no go fall o'. It was embarrassing, I just had to ignore them.

Another instance; just today I was at Yaba market to buy some things and I got the usual dragging and invasive touching here and there as soon as I got down from the bus. This particular guy kept blocking everywhere I was going, pulling my hand and bumping into me even after I showed I was not interested in what he was selling. The next thing he did was to start insulting me and making fun of the sandals I wore. Even body shamed me.

Why is nobody saying dickocurrency? If it was a lady that did this now, some unfortunate people would be shouting clitocurrency.

The complaint doesn't match with the pregnancy slaying pictures I'm seeing o.

The reference to the hotel part is to let you know he didn't want me to come to his house. He said it's the first time and he can't allow a girl come over. I stayed 3 days and the third night, we went to the house, stayed a bit and went back to the hotel.

I also paid 25k for one night. That's to show he didn't pay alone. Also the food and drinks, he didn't buy it all. I paid too.

So which money is attracting me. I am not the flashy girl. I would rather spend my money on investment. So, if a man is rich. He is rich for his future and his kids. It won't make me reduce my hustle.

That's only to show that he is financially stable. Cos I know some people here would keep asking do u know if he is financially capable. Now, that they know, they turned tables around and call me desperate.

I never in my write up said I brought up marriage discussions with him. I only want to know if it's on his mind. Is he considering it? Because I am.

So what's the big deal here?

Abeg don't stress yourself explaining to frustrated boys on nairaland who are angry that the girls they toasted did not respond to them because they don't have money. It's not your fault that they don't have.

You mentioned other reasons but they chose to pick at the one they can use to insult you and feel better about their condition. They should channel their anger to Buhari.

You are a hardworking lady in your own right and there is nothing wrong in checking the financial capacity of a man before thinking of starting a family with him.

What kind of selfish behaviour is this?? First of all you want to give him only one child. Next, you want his tubes to be cut, not yours. So if by chance something happens in the future and you separate, you live him with no wife, no family and impotency? Your selfishness carry First class o. I'm surprised he still called you after dropping you off at home.
