DomPerignon:
As much as importation of refined fuel is ret@rded , Dangote should know that these importers have a right to do business which they have been doing long before Dangote refinery came into existence.

The AGF can also be sued by these same importers if he withdraws their permits as the importers were incorporated under law as fuel importers.

The FG simply has to implement tariff regime on importers to force them to diverge into refining here in Nigeria.

Also the AGF may be granting these renewals on permits to importers to prevent Dangote becoming a monopoly in the energy sector as this also contravenes existing laws.
The same government that can't even do a simple turn around maintenance with clear integrity and accountability. What a dilemma for the FG...

SixSeven:
Life is all about experiences and those experiences make us wiser and sharper, don't you think?

Going to another country is never easy. Most people don't realize that being successful in an environment you didn't grow up in, weren't raised in and don't understand 100% is not easy. Traveling will test you. It will test your limits. It will test your survival mode. It will challenge you. Some overcome these challenges, some don't and if we don't try, we can never know. You can listen to the stories of Sola Sobowale or Don Jazzy. They faced challenges and came back home. Some people will see grace abroad, some people will have to see shege then come back home to see grace. Some people will be seeing grace anyhow anywhere like MTN, everywhere you go grin
One of the things I have learned from travel is that it is a school for learning in life. I would not discourage anyone from facing life challenges. Comfort sometimes makes us slack and I have seen this in life. That's why the migrants always loook like a threat, their thirst for survival is more than the ordinary water you are comfortable drinking wink

https://www.tiktok.com/video/7364101673465302288
As true as your opinion sounds, what is more truer is that the same experience has also given them leverage to be what they are today. If they didn't have that experience, would Don Jazzy's MAVIN be the brand it is today? Would Sola be able to provide for her family the way she did?
What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.
I have always said abroad is not paradise, it is not for the faint hearted but I guarantee you one thing, abroad will expose and enlighten you. Make you see the world from a different perspective and overall, give you an opportunity.
How you now use that is left to you.

If over 100million have the same opportunity, I am pretty sure that nonsense you guys are doing in Nigeria will stop, reinforcing failures after failures.

I am glad you one of those that understand the situation. Can you imagine the nonsense politics they playing in Lagos. I mean Desmond Elliot deserves what he gets and has outlived his usefulness in the political circles however, you can just imagine a sitting President, all he thinks, eat and live for is power and politics such that he doesn't have time for governance.

Jamb sef. What kind of ridiculous cutoff mark is that
Nigerians don't understand the trick here. They need more students to take the student loans. More loans, more room for shady excuses is what I see here.

As for not cut off mark for teachers, it quite absurd. The reason why students don't subscribe to education is simply because education as a profession is not considered a good profession. Teachers are seens as bottom of the professional table. People don’t consider it as a rewarding profession. The education system doesn't elevate the profession. How much does a teacher earn? What is the worse case scenario, principal! So taking away the cut off isn't the solution, it is improve the standard and elevating the status of a teacher such that their earnings will be as juicy as politicians

MATV:
“DON’T DRINK WATER IN CHURCH” — Pastor David Obiyeome’s Strict Rules Spark Massive Debate Online (VIDEO)

A viral video of popular preacher David Obiyeome is currently causing serious reactions across social media after he issued strong warnings about behavior inside church.

During a church service, the founder of Salvation Ministries warned members against chewing gum, drinking water, and using phones inside the auditorium.

According to him:

“You’re not a goat. Don’t chew gum in church. Don’t drink water in church. If you want to drink water, go outside. Don’t use phone at all in church.”

His comments have now divided Nigerians online.

While some people say the pastor is absolutely right about discipline and reverence in God’s house, others believe the rules are too extreme and outdated for modern worship.

But the BIG question people are now asking is:

Has church become too casual nowadays… or are some pastors becoming too controlling?

The reactions under the video are even more shocking than the sermon itself.

Watch the FULL VIDEO and see Nigerians’ reactions here👇

What’s your own opinion on this?
Ibiyomie and his commandments, thank God he is not God. His wife the other was cursing women who divorced. I don't understand that church at all. Na commandments and instructions dem just give. If your congregation chewing gums, it means the church is as boring as anything but they can't understand that cos of the high pedestal they laced themselves.

That being said, people should behave themselves too.

Tinubu created NDC to destroy opposition – Bolaji Abdullahi, ADC spokesman

• Many supporters won’t follow ex-governors to NDC

https://thesun.ng/tinubu-created-ndc-to-destroy-opposition-bolaji-abdullahi-adc-spokesman/
When it comes to PO, ADC are at fault. They refused to honor a simple gentlemen agreement which is zoning. Those who said ADC is all about Atiku are right.

They cannot blame Obi or Tinubu on this one because Atiku couldn't sacrifice just 4 years and Atiku has always lost because he cannot sacrifice. Where you know they never planned to zone to the south was when Hayatudeen and Tambuwal was throwing their hats in the ring too. The message became clear. The people who should be contesting for primaries are people like Obi, Ameachi and the likes in the south. Ameachi can't win when northerners are in the mix. Anyways, he can vice Atiku. That has always been the plan incase Obi decides otherwise.

Yes, it should be based on merit but all regions have meritorious candidates. If they narrowed down, and spread power, I promise you, ADC would have made a great party but political greed of the northern elites, the will only dnd up like PDP

Ardo came late to the party. There is nothing INEC can do against a court order cos the time for them to challenge or appeal the court order has lapsed long time ago. As for him, he has no locus standing to challenge INEC or NDC at the court. The only person that can use state institutions to suppress the NDC is Tinubu himself and it will be too obvious his abuse of power.

So Ardo should go and sit down. If he can't join them, he should go look for something else to do
