Even if your school has a rolling admission, 2 weeks is not enough time.
You are not the only applying to that school. They will need to process ur docs and ensure its complete before they review it, Allow a month.
If ur school is not rolling, the wait go still long.. Just goan buy playstation.
This got me laughing.

Why not use a gtb or access ATM, thats your best option and you will get a deal of #320 and #325 respectively. Right now black market is #516, i am sure no one will do that for you less than #480.

If your story is true, which is a big if, it is your unwillingness to write GRE that is holding you back and narrowing your options. Writing GRE would open up a world of opportunities for your PhD since all ranked schools require it. I don't know your previous experience with GRE, but you sound scared of the exam and it seem prep time is not the problem. Now, if you are as strong as you claim and successfully completed a Masters in Canada, you do not need to be afraid and can ace the exam with 2 months of smart prep. The knowledge you have gained during your master programme will stand you in good stead.

Therefore, if I were you, I would prepare my application towards fall 2018, register and take the exam sometimes around August this year, and then apply to a mixture of top and good schools instead of trying to cut corners. That's my $0.02 coming from someone who smashed GRE recently.
Baba o, e no easy.

Mehn they didn't allow us ooooo. We are like 4 in number. It Wass very painful becos of the time, energy and the money spent on it.

I know it's my fault but e get why.

Omo, God dey. But this is not too judge you o, didn't read the ID requirements?
The first thing I did even before registering was to read their terms and conditions....

Wasn't expecting anything so soon. 1 out of 5 applications, 4 more to go.

Sooooo early, finished applying about 3weeks ago.

I was offered a $1,000 annual scholarship + I'll only pay in-state tuition just like I wanted.

Electronic, waiting for your good news!
Congrats bro.

Please has anyone has a scenario where deadline for application has elapse, and they still gave the person admission after deadline.I send a mail to dept cord, she said she notice I didn't apply for fall 2017 and the deadline has elapse DEC,but if am qualified to apply, she is willing to accept me if I can apply within two weeks and give her a date I will be writing my GRE and TOEFL,but first of all I should send her my transcript, CV,sop, career goal and my favourite maths course. She said they fund all their psim students because is difficult to cope in the dept without funding. That she is thanking me in advance if I can introduce qualified applicant to the program and she is expecting my mail. Please what should I do,my transcript is not yet ready. And please help me tell qualified applicant because I don't want to be the only Nigerian in the dept,it will be boring. Expecting my transcript in a week time. Can I still make it ,what should I reply her, should I start the process even if I don't complete it I can tell her to extend my application to fall 2018?
Please start your application immediately, this is as good as it gets. Just make sure you carry her along.

The same way you create an account on ETS website, pay for an appointment and select a date, is what BY MAFIT will do. You either create an account and let them do the reg or they create for you, book the appointment and you log in from the official ETS site.
They have nothing to do with the test venues. I believe JKK is a popular venue. I have used Surulere venue too, okay.

My opinion, going through them will make more people partake of the promo. I registered with them and it was a smooth ride.

Whatever you decide to do, is fine.
Same here, I wrote my two exams at JKK. It was a cool experience.

I am not a genius o. Like you rightly pointed out, The amount of practice and preparation determine the score in the GRE. I just prepared well and was also fortunate to have resources (like the Magoosh account from iekene) and a bit of luck. There is no short cut, Like the epigram says ; "Practice do not only make perfection, Practice is everything"
You're right bro, I prepared for 25 days. I had to rush to meet up with a deadline.

Immigrating is LEGAL. Stating so openly on a forum where VOs can read and potentially identify you is boneheadedness (especially when you are still on a non-dual purpose visa)... that was my entire point. but of course, your misguided zeal to say something is blinding you. By the way... civilized folks do not use the term "nigga". It may be a term "bad boys" in Nigeria use but its basically a low class term around here.

You don't seem to be able to read and comprehend.... you simply retort. Again we've gone down a tangent because obviously your goal here isn't to contribute as much as its to antagonize me. I'm flattered little bro...

So of course, i'm expecting your next little rant like clockwork... in 3, 2, 1...
Lol. And baba fell for it.

Think really hard here. If he is your sponsor, who will he claim as sponsor for himself when it's time for him to come over? What would he claim as ties? It is doable, but you both need to think long and hard. The last thing you want is for him to be denied a visa.
Boss, this is a better and more helpful way to answer questions.
