Business / Re: What Lead To The Collapse Of Your First Business? by hustlelegit(m): 11:30am On Nov 16, 2019 |
tensazangetsu20: Naso bro, the greatest success tool in life is investment, even amazon spends millions of dollars on ads every month and they are making their money back in ten folds same as other companies. Every business needs awareness, you can't just buy a product or start a business and expect customer to be coming na. Learn digital marketing and apply it to your business and watch it grow. That's why I said I will never target Nigerians for any subscription stuff, it's only the western countries I will target cos of their investment ability. |

All those shouting mini-importation blah blah, mini -importation is 100% a profitable business depending on how vast your knowledge is on the field. Most of you venture into mini-importation with no knowledge on digital marketing or social media marketing, and you keep advising people not to start and blah blah. Mtcheww. I ventured into mini importation, print on demand and drop shipping at the same time and my business was booming but I stopped cos facebook deactivated my facebook account and I had a balance of 100k in my ads account, so I just decided to put it at hold since I can't create facebook ads and instagram ads, google ads dey expensive and twitter so I ignore those two. Am still pleading facebook till dey open am back. Don't mislead people, learn digital marketing and you will be able to sell things easily, Invest and learn. I bought courses and learnt alot, so even if you have 100k start importing and put aside 20k for advertising and learn social media ads, if you no get money to learn am, find person to help you run am. Use gig logistics for your local delivery and u go Dec enjoy ur business. Once facebook activates my account, I will start a subscription platform and my main target will be USA, Europe ,Canada and Australia cos those countres can invest in anything. No money is small to start a business bro 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Investment / Re: I Don't Believe Any Business Advert Here. All Na Scam! by hustlelegit(m): 1:44pm On Nov 15, 2019 |
Not all though, I think researching is the key here and without a deep market research and adequate knowledge you can't start a profitable business here in Nigeria or any place in the world. The main problem we have in Nigeria is the mentality of not wanting to invest or everything na scam and most end up not making use of the opportunity cos dey think say na scam. No successful person or business owner will share his knowledge or success story for free and what works for him might not work for you and that's the fact, you buying E-books or tutorial is not a waste at least you achieved a little amount of information from that particular book. I bought a course on Print on demand about 2months ago for about 60$ ,the course was superb but I hesitated to start the business ,everything I should know was already in the course but why did I hesitated? It was because of my Nigeria mentality "everything na scam, I no go make money" but I thank God due to my Interaction with more intelligent people I was enlightened and exposed more. The whites spends thousands of dollars on buying Courses cos they know a different piece of information will be gained from that particular course or tutorial they bought. I attended an affiliate marketing Webinar and d guy who held the webinar decided to sell his course for $997 At the end of the webinar and to my surprise 10 people bought the course almost immediately and I was like WTF. I had the opportunity to message one of the guy that bought the course and I was like Why the heck will you spend $997 on a course, he told me its not about the money but the information he needs to make more of what he spent. Have attended different webinars with tutors selling their course for 1999$ and more and people were rushing it like food, so why is Nigeria different?. If me and you want to succeed in Nigeria, risk is something we can't avoid we have to get use to the risk in business, if you think everything na scam by just paying 5k for a tutorial, what of this paying over 300k for a course? Everything na scam but some people succeed through the business u call scam. Just like I saw a person selling his course online some ignorant chickens where calling him scam cos e dey sell his course, some where asking if he his truly making money why his he selling his course, imagine those stupid mentality ------its just like saying apple should not sell iPhone again cos they are already making money. Invest and invest and invest, take the risk and you will get your reward sooner or later. 2 Likes |

Education / Singapore Abolishes School Exam Rankings, Says Learning Is Not Competition by hustlelegit(m): 6:53pm On Oct 14, 2019 |
Whether a child finishes first or last will no longer be indicated in primary and secondary school report books from next year in Singapore, – a move which Education Minister Ong Ye Kung hopes will show students that “learning is not a competition”. Report books will not just stop showing a student’s position in relation to class or cohort. The information to be dropped includes: Class and level mean Minimum and maximum marks Underlining and/or colouring of failing marks Pass/fail for end-of-year result Mean subject grades Overall total marks L1R5 (English plus five relevant subjects), L1R4 , EMB3 (English, maths, best three subjects) and EMB1 for lower secondary levels The Ministry of Education (MOE) said on Friday (Sept 28) that the change is to allow each student to focus on his or her learning progress and discourage them from being overly concerned about comparisons. From next year all examinations for Primary 1 and 2 pupils will also be removed, and whatever forms of assessment they have will not count towards an overall grade. The MOE said that teachers will continue to gather information about pupils’ learning through discussions, homework and quizzes. Schools will use other ways like “qualitative descriptors”, in place of marks and grades, to evaluate pupils’ progress at these two levels For older students in primary schools and secondary schools, marks for each subject will be rounded off and presented as a whole number, without decimal points – to reduce the focus on academic scores. Parents will continue to receive information about their child’s progress in school during parent-teacher meetings. In an address to some 1,700 school leaders earlier this week, Mr Ong said: “I know that ‘coming in first or second’, in class or level, has traditionally been a proud recognition of a student’s achievement. But removing these indicators is for a good reason, so that the child understands from young that learning is not a competition, but a self-discipline they need to master for life. Notwithstanding, the report book should still contain some form of yardstick and information to allow students to judge their relative performance, and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses.” 3 Likes 1 Share |

thebosstrevor: Op you can't be tired of listening to "bad government" we are Nigerian and we both know the situation of this country. If Nigerians are truly smart we won't have an issue with bad government, if we were truly smart we can easily choose the right leaders but the honest truth is our smartness is diverted into stupid things and behaviors .... I do ask my self If the government are truly responsible for the misdeeds and the bad situation in Nigeria but the truth is they are not responsible....we are responsible for voting them in and since they used us as stepping stone they experience wealth, Security, happiness while we are the ones suffering. If we were smart we would have elected the right leader and would have done the right thing. Can you call those wasting their time voting for BBN smart? Or the organizers and the government?. Sowore was smart enough to hold a revolutionary protest, but his followers were also smart to leave him behind when DSS arrested him, so who his smart? Op Nigerians are not smart we are all hypocrites and we will never move forward if we continue with these. 8 Likes |
