What were the crimes for which Jesus was arrested, tried and convicted to be crucified on the cross? Do you think he was innocent or guilty of said crimes? |
It gives me great pleasure in announcing that the Trinity, a conerstone of Christian theology and the cause of many a heartache and sleepless nights and pogroms has been proven to be just a figment of the imagination. This theology can be be put to bed and replaced by a more thoroughgoing and robust theology called the Quinternity. This new theology defines the persons that comprise the one and only true God. This meets quite well with the philosophical idea of the holon. As such the quinternity comprises Jesus, Mohammed, the Holy Spirit, Jinns and God. |
I strong believe that all this talk of trinity is all wrong. There is no trinity, there is instead a quinternity, made up of Jesus, Mohammed, the Holy Spirit, Jinns and God. |
The diversity of beliefs in the Christian community is staggering. But what is even more puzzling is the diversity of belief about the nature of Jesus. This is nothing new, for it dates back to the very start of the Christian movement. In fact, this issue ironically is responsible for the coalescing of the Christian world into one single authority or orthodoxy, albeit with a great deal of opposition and bloodsheding. While the orthodox appear to have won the day, as history may suggest, this issue has still not been catagorically decided. There are many Christian today who hold that Jesus and God are two separate agents, God being the Father and Jesus the son. Still others believe that Jesus is God, that is Jesus and God are the same agent, or "person". The latter view appears to be the overwhelming Christian belief. Follower of the orthodox view believe that Jesus was present at the creation and did indeed create the world. That Jesus commanded Abraham to sacrifice is son Isaac. That Jesus killed millions in a global flood. That Jesus commanded Moses to kill thousands of his own people. That Jesus commandment Moses to ethnically cleanse, loot, rape and pillage the tribes and villages en route to the promise land. And so on. I was astounded by some Christians on this forum, notably Kola Oloye, who are prepared to diverge from orthodoxy, claiming that Jesus was/is NOT God. That Jesus and God are two separate agents. So my question is the following; Are you a Jesus-is-God Christian or are you a Jesus-is-not-God Christian? |
Kola oloye, Did I scare you off? Are my questions too hard for you or are you taking great care and caution to research the subject further? |
kola oloye:You have just quoted verses from the Bible without so much as elucidating why you think these verses hold primacy over the verses I provided. PLEASE CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHY YOU VERSES OVERRIDE THE ONES I PROVIDED AND WHY THOSE OTHER CHRISTIAN WEBSITES ARE WRONG? Secondly, why should you use the Koran to buttress your belief? Why do you think the Koran is right about this and wrong about the others? Now, do you think you have the mettle to deal with these issues? I await your response with the greatest amount of patience. |
kola oloye:Go ahead then. I expect you answers will also fully explain why it is that he claimed himself to be God. I await you answers patiently. |
kola oloye:Another demented string of bible quotation that is simply non-sensical. |
The Jews therefore said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?" Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am." Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself, and went out of the temple. (John 8:57-59) "I and the Father are one." The Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, "I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?" The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God." (John 10:30-33) And Jesus cried out and said, "He who believes in Me does not believe in Me, but in Him who sent Me. And he who beholds Me beholds the One who sent Me. I have come as light into the world, that everyone who believes in Me may not remain in darkness." (John 12:44-46) And so when He had washed their feet, and taken His garments, and reclined at the table again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you? You call Me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for I am. If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet." (John 13:12-14) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him." Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us." Jesus said to him, "Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how do you say, 'Show us the Father'?" (John 14:6-9) See the following websites for the Jesus-God theology: http://www.everystudent.com/wires/whodoyousay.html http://www.christiananswers.net/q-eden/edn-t005.html http://www.christiananswers.net/kids/ednk-jesusgodorman.html |
kola oloye:What type of Christian are you? You sound so ignorant of you own religion. Allow me to help you. Turn to the Christian website christiananswers, where I have lifted the following; Is Jesus Christ a man, or is he God? Jesus Christ is most definitely God. He created Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, in his image. He is the Creator of the universe. The Bible says, “Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made” (John 1:3). This includes all the stars, all the original animals and plants, and even the angels (Colossians 1:15-17). It is important not be confused. God did not create Jesus. Jesus is God, and he has always existed. Jesus proved that he is God by doing many things that only God could do. These are called miracles. He made dead people alive. He walked across a great lake. He made blind eyes see perfectly again. He healed deadly diseases with a word. Why don't you check the rest of the quoted article to educate yourself before you come back here? Otherwise, it would be like debating with a kid, am afraid. |
The highly rational, scientific and educated amongst you would enjoy this. Saudi court tells girl aged EIGHT she cannot divorce husband who is 50 years her senior by Daily Mail Reposted from: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1099447/Saudi-court-tells-girl-aged-EIGHT-divorce-husband-50-years-senior.html A Saudi court has rejected a plea to divorce an eight-year-old girl married off by her father to a man who is 58, saying the case should wait until the girl reaches puberty. The divorce plea was filed in August by the girl's divorced mother with a court at Unayzah, 135 miles north of Riyadh just after the marriage contract was signed by the father and the groom. Lawyer Abdullar Jtili said:"The judge has dismissed the plea, filed by the mother, because she does not have the right to file such a case, and ordered that the plea should be filed by the girl herself when she reaches puberty." "She doesn't know yet that she has been married," Jtili said then of the girl who was about to begin her fourth year at primary school. Relatives who did not wish to be named said that the marriage had not yet been consummated, and that the girl continued to live with her mother. They said that the father had set a verbal condition by which the marriage is not consummated for another 10 years, when the girl turns 18. The father had agreed to marry off his daughter for an advance dowry of £5,000, as he was apparently facing financial problems, they said. The father was in court and he remained adamant in favour of the marriage, they added. Mr Jtili said he was going to appeal the verdict at the court of cassation, the supreme court in the ultra-conservative kingdom which applies Islamic Sharia law in its courts. Arranged marriages involving pre-adolescents are occasionally reported in the Arabian Peninsula, including in Saudi Arabia where the strict conservative Wahabi version of Sunni Islam holds sway and polygamy is common. In Yemen in April, another girl aged eight was granted a divorce after her unemployed father forced her to marry a man of 28. |

LadyT:You should be thankful that I am obsessed with religion. Because if was not for me, many of you would not know what is in your bible. Further, you would have the wool drawn over you face by some ignorant and false theologians here on NL. As for me, I give it exactly as it is in the bible. Now, is that really cool? |
Are these the end times? What makes this period in history particularly propitious for the Jesus 2nd coming? Are there any things or projects you would not undertake for fear that you would not be able to complete before Jesus comes? Would you avoid getting married, avoid having children, avoid getting educated or trained in a career, avoid seeking employment for fear that these endeavours would not be complete before Jesus returns? |
The following is taken from a Christian website called gracethrufaith.com. It is quite instructive. See their response about the prophecy of the destruction of Syria, highlighted in blue below. Note the date that comment was made and their take for when the prophecy would be fulfilled. The following question came into my in box a few days ago and seemed to merit a more detailed answer that I usually have room for in our “Ask A Bible Teacher” column. Here it is. Q. What is your opinion on the alleged ‘failed prophecies’ of the Bible listed below? Q. What is your opinion on the alleged ‘failed prophecies’ of the Bible listed below? A. First of all, let me say that this is what comes of letting unbelievers interpret Scriptures for us. Paul warned us that the man without the Spirit cannot accept the things of God. They’re foolishness to him, he can’t understand them because they’re spiritually discerned. (1 Cor. 2:14) I read the responses to a similar question posted on a secular site recently and had Paul’s warning confirmed once again. For people who’ve probably never studied the Book, some of the respondents certainly act like they know a lot about it. I noticed that unbelievers often think that if something is in the Old Testament, it has to be written about our past, as if there’s no future fulfillment to Old Testament prophecy. This causes them to reject our view that there are only two kinds of prophecy, the kind that has been fulfilled and the kind that will be. God Himself said, “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times what is still to come. What I have said, that will I bring about, what I have planned, that will I do.” (Isaiah 46:10-11). But unbelievers think it’s a cop out when we tell them a “failed” prophecy is for the future, even though most Biblical prophecy speaks about a time still future to us. I also found that they give more credence to man’s word than to God’s. In other words, they read the Bible and then look for something man has written for confirmation. If they don’t find it they assume the Bible is wrong. It’s the reverse of the way believers approach things. We know that if man’s history differs from the Bible then man’s history is either wrong or incomplete. With that, let’s have a look at the five “failed” prophecies that have been cited and see what the real story is. 1. Deut. 7:1, God Will Give Israel 7 Nations. Joshua 15:63, He Is Unable To Drive Some Out. Joshua 15:63 specifically refers to the Jebusites of Jerusalem, one of the 7 nations mentioned in Deut. 7:1. It says that the Tribe of Judah was unable to dislodge the Jebusites from Jerusalem. But Judges 1:8 says, “The men of Judah attacked Jerusalem also and took it. They put the city to the sword and set it on fire.” As per their agreement, the Tribe of Judah then went with the tribe of Simeon to capture the rest of their two allotments instead of remaining in Jerusalem and in their absence, the Jebusites returned. They also had difficulty with the Philistines in the southern coastal areas. And other tribes experienced problems with the people in their areas as well. All this happened after the major conquest had ended, “the land had rest from war” (Josh. 11:23) and the tribes went into their own allotted lands. In Judges 2:1-4 we learn that previous to that the Angel of the Lord had criticized them for their lack of faith in completing the conquest of the Land, and withdrew His supernatural assistance. He had promised them victory over every enemy they chose to engage, (Josh 10:25) but they lacked the faith to make it so. (This is something unbelievers don’t understand. It wasn’t that God lacked the ability, but that His people lacked the faith. Of course they don’t understand this because they don’t understand faith.) That being the case, He said, in effect, “Fine. If you want them living among you, so be it. But they’ll be thorns in your sides and their gods a snare to you.” (Judges 2:1-3) It wasn’t until the time of King David, a warrior of supernatural faith, that the Israelites finally possessed all the land that God had promised them. The prophecy did not fail. 2. Isaiah 17:1 Damascus Will Be Destroyed Every scholar who takes the Bible literally agrees. This prophecy is in our future. Many believe it’ll likely be fulfilled as early as the summer of this year (2007). As evidence of this, here’s an excerpt from a report from the Jerusalem Newswire that I received this week. (June 24, 2007) “Syria is making concrete preparations for war with Israel, and is anticipating such a conflict this coming summer. According to reports carried in the Arab media Friday, the Assad government has already ordered, and carried out, the removal of the Government Archives and State Archives from Damascus to other locations. Reports have circulated during the past two months that Syria is preparing its SCUD missile arsenal for war, including the VX gas warheads it has been working on producing for several years. It is widely believed that any attempt by Syria to introduce non-conventional warheads into a conflict with Israel will be met by an Israeli response that will destroy Damascus.” (www.jnewswire.com/article/1969) 3. Isaiah 19:5 The Nile Will Dry Up. Many view the fulfillment of this prophecy in the construction of the Aswan Dam by the Soviets in the early 1960’s. When it became operational in 1965, it forever changed the economy of Egypt for the worse. For millennia, Egyptians had relied on the Nile’s annual flooding to renew the land and enrich the waters of the southern Mediterranean. It had been the most important event regulating the fertility of the region. The dam stopped all that. In addition to forever changing Egypt’s agricultural industry, the decrease in fertility of the southeastern Mediterranean waters caused by the dam has had a catastrophic effect on marine fisheries. In spite of the dam’s benefits, such as cheap electricity, some have said that the best way to restore Egypt’s economy would be to blow up the Aswan Dam. A comparison of the economic and environmental effects of the Aswan Dam and the prophecy of Isaiah 19:5-10 clearly show that the prophecy did not fail. 4. Jeremiah 50:39 Babylon will be uninhabited. For many years prophecy scholars believed this prophecy to have been fulfilled. And then came the first Gulf War. People were astonished to see Babylon standing there on the Banks of the Euphrates, rebuilt by Saddam Hussein. While there’s no comparison to the great city of Nebuchadnezzar, it does exist, and though it’s population had dwindled to as low as a few thousand when the Greeks built Baghdad to become the major river port city of the region, Babylon has not yet become uninhabited. But 6 chapters of the Bible are devoted to its destruction, Isaiah 13-14, Jeremiah 50-51, and Revelation 17-18. It’s clearly a prophecy yet future to us. 5. Ezekiel 29:10-13 Egypt Will Be Uninhabited For Forty Years (after being destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar, Ezekiel 29:19) I believe that this is a case of misunderstood context. There is no reason to connect the prophecy of Egypt’s 40 year desolation, given by Ezekiel on January 7, 587BC, with his prophecy of Nebuchadnezzar’s conquest of the Egyptians which was given on April 26, 571BC. The two are completely different utterances, spoken 16 years apart, and in reverse order of the “failed” prophecy claim. Nebuchadnezzar did defeat the Egyptian Army at the Battle of Carchemesh in 606BC and subsequently carried off the wealth of Egypt, as Ezekiel’s 2nd prophecy says, but the land of Egypt has not yet lain desolate for 40 years. (I guess you can say that when it does, it will have happened after Nebuchadnezzar’s conquest.) The prophecy has not failed. Some of you may be asking, “What’s the big deal if a few of the thousands of prophecies of the Bible didn’t come true?” Well, the big deal is this. If God couldn’t deliver on His promise to the men of Judah, or to Nebuchadnezzar, how can you be sure that He’ll able to deliver for you? You’ve staked your eternity on the belief that He can perform on His promises. By the time you know for sure that your faith was justified, it’ll be too late. You’ll be dead. None of us has ever seen Him. All we have is His word that He’ll come back for us and save us from judgment. He knows we have to trust Him for this, so He gave us an unblemished record to justify our faith. It’s called prophecy. I guarantee you that in just a few short years, there won’t be anyone left who still believes that God doesn’t do what He says He’ll do. But then, instead of ridiculing Him for not doing what He said, they’ll be cursing Him for doing it. (Rev. 16:10-11) |
Have watched it too a while ago. It is really v good. I have also got the book of a similar name, but have only read a couple of chapters. |
Just wanted to find out if there are/were any biblical prophecies that have recently come true. As a reminder, here are some that have failed to actualise. Ezekiel predicted Babylon would conquer Egypt and was wrong. Ezekiel predicts that Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon will conquer Egypt utterly destroying it, slaying and scattering it’s people, and that it will stay uninhabited for 40 years. In 568 BCE Nebuchadrezzar tried to conquer Egypt and Egypt survived with no apparent damage. Aahmes ruled for another generation over a prosperous Egypt and lived to see Nebuchadrezzar die. No Egyptians were scattered or dispersed. (Ezek 29:10 NRSV) therefore, I am against you, and against your channels, and I will make the land of Egypt an utter waste and desolation, from Migdol to Syene, as far as the border of Ethiopia. (Ezek 29:11 NRSV) No human foot shall pass through it, and no animal foot shall pass through it; it shall be uninhabited forty years. (Ezek 29:12 NRSV) I will make the land of Egypt a desolation among desolated countries; and her cities shall be a desolation forty years among cities that are laid waste. I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries. (Ezek 30:10 NRSV) Thus says the Lord GOD: I will put an end to the hordes of Egypt, by the hand of King Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon. (Ezek 30:11 NRSV) He and his people with him, the most terrible of the nations, shall be brought in to destroy the land; and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain. ————————————————————————- Ezekiel predicts the destruction of Tyre (Tyrus) by Nebuchadrezzar and is wrong again. Ezekiel incorrectly predicts that the island of Tyre (Tyrus) will be utterly destroyed and "made a bare rock" which will "never be rebuilt". At the time of the prediction, it seemed like to be a sure thing, but 13 years of seige later Nebuchadrezzar gives up. The Island of Tyre is not destroyed or even conquered. It is not made "a bare rock" that will "never be rebuilt". Ezekiel admits his error in Ezek 29:17 (Here the conquest of Trye looks like a sure thing so Ezekiel makes his prediction) (Ezek 26:1 NRSV) In the eleventh year, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me: (Ezek 26:7 NRSV) For thus says the Lord GOD: I will bring against Tyre from the north King Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon, king of kings, together with horses, chariots, cavalry, and a great and powerful army. (Ezek 26:14 NRSV) I will make you a bare rock; you shall be a place for spreading nets. You shall never again be rebuilt, for I the LORD have spoken, says the Lord GOD. (Ezek 27:32 NRSV) In their wailing they raise a lamentation for you, and lament over you: "Who was ever destroyed like Tyre in the midst of the sea? (13 years of futile effort by Nebuchadrezzar later…) (Ezek 29:17 NRSV) In the twenty-seventh year, in the first month, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me: (Here Ezekiel admits he was wrong) (Ezek 29:18 NRSV) Mortal, King Nebuchadrezzar of Babylon made his army labor hard against Tyre; every head was made bald and every shoulder was rubbed bare; yet neither he nor his army got anything from Tyre to pay for the labor that he had expended against it. (So he then predicts that God decides to give Egypt to him instead, another Ezekiel prophecy that completely failed) ————————————————————————- Micah predicts the destruction of Jerusalem (which at the time was about to be invaded by Sennacherib and seemed inevitable) blaming the destruction on the corruption of the priesthood of Judah. Jerusalem was sieged, but the destruction didn’t happen. A century later Jeremiah quotes Micah and tries to excuse the failed prophecy by saying that "the Lord changed his mind" about that destruction. (Micah 3:12 NRSV) Therefore because of you Zion shall be plowed as a field; Jerusalem shall become a heap of ruins, and the mountain of the house a wooded height. (~100 years and no destruction later…) (Jer 26:18 NRSV) "Micah of Moresheth, who prophesied during the days of King Hezekiah of Judah, said to all the people of Judah: ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, Zion shall be plowed as a field; Jerusalem shall become a heap of ruins, and the mountain of the house a wooded height.’ (Jer 26:19 NRSV) Did King Hezekiah of Judah and all Judah actually put him to death? Did he not fear the LORD and entreat the favor of the LORD, and did not the LORD change his mind about the disaster that he had pronounced against them? … ————————————————————————- The prophet Daniel incorrectly states that in the third year of the reign of King Jehoiakim, Nebuchadnezzar will conquer Judah. The third year of Jehoiakim’s reign was 606 BCE, at which time Nebuchadnezzar was not yet king of Babylon. It was in 597 BCE that Nebuchadnezzar takes Jerusalem, by then Jehoiakim had died. (Dan 1:1 NRSV) In the third year of the reign of King Jehoiakim of Judah, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. (Dan 1:2 NRSV) The Lord let King Jehoiakim of Judah fall into his power, as well as some of the vessels of the house of God. These he brought to the land of Shinar, and placed the vessels in the treasury of his gods. ————————————————————————- Jeremiah incorrectly predicts 70 years for the Babylonian exiles but they only lasted 59 years. The 1rst exile started in 597 BCE when Nebuchadnezzar first takes Jerusalem and appoints Zedekiah king (Judah’s last king). Nebuchadnezzar has temple equipment taken away. The start of the 2nd exile was in 586 BCE when Nebuchadnezzar takes Jerusalem a second time putting down a rebellion and destroys the temple. The end comes in 538 BCE when Cyrus takes Babylon and ends the Babylonian kingdom. Jews are then allowed to return to Judah. (Jer 29:10 NRSV) For thus says the LORD: Only when Babylon’s seventy years are completed will I visit you, and I will fulfill to you my promise and bring you back to this place. davidylan:In many states in the US, oral and anal sex are prohibited, although some states are now repealling these law. The laws are a legacy of the American Christian puritanical past. Just do a google search to check it out. Until recently, nearly all swearing in US courts was done on the bible. And although the Constitutions forbids test on religions grounds some US states have local legislation requiring such test. I shall get the details in a moment. |
Bastage:You are right and I love this Lennon song too. Some people just cannot see the forest, so they have to be shown the trees individually. |
Adam Brody:Did you mean astronomical? |
And of course, all the religious-inspire laws, outlawing oral and anal sex. People have been prosecuted (and persecuted) who have engaged in acts of oral and anal sex. |
In some parts of the world, official oaths are taken on the holy books although one may not subsribe to the religions of the book. In think in some courts in the US, defendents, plaintives and witness still have to swear an oath by the bible. This is private religion intruding into public space. |
In the commandments, God warns that his name not be taken in vain. And instructively, he tells us what his name is. But do bible-believers take any notice of God's real name? The bible tells us in many instances that Gods name is JEALOUS. So the next time you use this word, bear in mind that you may be calling your God's name in vain |
The fraudulent and corrupt government of George W Bush put a restraint on stem-cell research. Why? Purely religiously-motivated. Stem-cell research hold a great deal of promise to the alleviation of a great many diseases. Shall I go on again? |
OmniPotens:What have your really said here. looks like you have lost your mind! |
Following the death (or suicide) of God (Jesus) the bible reports that many saints who had been dead for some time arose and went into the city and were seen by many. Matthew 27 50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. 54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. Why is this reported in a matter-of-factly manner? Was it because resurrections were commonplace in 1st century Palestine? Why are there no more detailed information about these saints and where they had been while they had been dead? If resurrections were so common then, what makes Jesus's any special? Are Christian also saved by the death and resurrection of the saints, after all, they resurrected before Jesus and had been in their graves for much longer, presumably? Did these saints walk the streets of Jerusalem in corporeal form or in spirit form? And finally, what became of these saints? Did they go back to their graves voluntarily shortly after they awoke? Did they live amongst their friends and relative as per normal, only to die again later? Or did they rise into heaven? What do you guys think was the most plausible end of this narrative? |
Was Jesus's death suicide? Did he pre-arrange his own death? I submit that he did. Given that he is god and has all the attributes of god, namely omniscience, omnipresence, omnipotence and omnibenevolence, he would have had fore-knowledge of his own plight. Given also that he appeared to have sought his own death when he had all the means within his disposal to avoid it, one is inevitably drawn to the conclusion that he was responsible for taking his own life. Traditionally, such acts of self-imolation are called suicide. Is there any reason to think that Jesus's was not suicide, or more specifically suicide-by-soldiers? |
If Jesus was really pre-ordained to be crucified, his death having been organised by himself, then his death was in effect suicide, or more specifically suicide-by-soldiers. What is the Christian position on suicide? |
This is what Jesus also said, in Matthew 5: 21"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.' 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca, ' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell. So be careful when you use the word "fool" as you might end up jeopardising your chances of going to heaven. |
Kuns:You are one racist retard. You don't you hang out somewhere else. |
Ekwere:I bet, you are on your way to HELL, as your ignoramus God said in Matthew 5: 21"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.' 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca, ' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell. I hope next time you are tempted to call someone a fool, you think about Jesus's injunction. But knowing how deluded you are, and how your brain has been messed up by religion and christianity, you will be unable to remember, never mind understand this simple warning from your god. |
