BusinessRe: BUA Emulates Dangote By Reducing Cement Price To 1000NGN by hybeenoni: 4:26pm On Nov 04, 2014
So surprised hw sm Nigerians easily fall 4 quick political gimmick. Hv u guys bothered asking urselves y this sudden reduction of cement prices few months to elections? Sudden agreement to ceasefire by bokoharams?
R prices nt supposed to be determined by forces of demand and supply? Is it a mere coincidence dt Dangote and BUA suddenly realised the need to reduce cement prices to d same amount?
I'm rilli surprised @ hw sm Nigerians r so easy to be deceived!
Politics3 Categories Of Supporters Of Politicians by hybeenoni(op): 9:56pm On Nov 01, 2014
Ever wondered why sm pple are die-hard supporters of politicians, even though their choice may not go down well wt pple around? Having watched this over time, I hv decided to categorise different supporters of politicians.

1. THOSE WHO SUPPORT POLITICIANS COZ THEY BELIEVE THEY WILL FIGHT FOR THE MASSES. This category of pple beliv the politicians they support cn bring abt d much needed positive change.
2. THE 'STOMACH INFRASTRUCTURE PPLE'. These category supports politicians coz of whatever peanut they cn get from politicians, be it money, food, work, e.t.c They don't kia if such politicians hv d interest of d pple in mind.
3. THE SENTIMENTAL SUPPORTER. These set of pple supports politician coz of ethnic,religious,e.t.c. They dnt kia if their candidate will perform or not, all they knw is 'we must support our brother' even if their choice politicians hv performed below expectatns, they still stand their ground nd insisit that he is the best.
Fellow Nairalanders, hw do u view these pple nd what category du u fall?
Feel free to cricticise nd make ur observatns

EducationYour Most Challenging Course In School by hybeenoni(op): 8:21am On Oct 25, 2014
Yeah was actually motivated to write this coz of a similar thread I saw.
My most challenging course during my undergraduate was actually REAL ANALYSIS, and the major reason for this was:
1. It was a new concept of mathematics to me totally. The sup, inf, limsup, liminf, boundedness, convergent of sequences and series,...
2. It was really time consuming, as I had to virtually abandon other courses nd spend more time with it.
Thank God the efforts were not in vain as I was able to pass nd later appreciate the course as I proceeded further with study.
Team Bukite(Pentagon)
So fellow Nairalanders, wat course challenged you the most?

Professor Grace Alele-William is the first female to receive a Ph.D in Mathematics. She is also the first female Professor in Mathematics, also the first female VC of a university. She is the first female to receive a Ph.D degree in general.
@ sambest maybe u do ur findings again coz Prof Grace Alele Williams got her Ph.D in Mathematics education while Prof Ugbebor got hers in Mathematical science, both in different faculties

Following widespread news of d ceasefire agreed b/w Bokoharam and FG, I couldn't help but ponder over the sudden change of mind by the terror group.
I kept asking myslf the following questions:

1. Hw comes BH sudden had a change of mind, knowing fully dt this group has alwys rejected FG's offer of Amnesty?
2. How comes few months to election, FG is suddenly making an headway on this issue of Chibok girls?
Before u cricticise me, I'm actually happy at this development, jst that the timing of this development arouses my suspicion on the whole issue. Don't u think this is jst a stage play to use for campaign, bearing in mind hw Ebola was also used for campaign
Though this is my personal opinion, fellow Nairalanders, what du u think abt this?
@ OP, I strongly disagree with you, she is neither the first woman to bag a Ph.D nor the first to become a professor in Nigeria, she is just the first to become a Professor of mathematics in University of Ibadan.

Its always very easy to reject a claim, y nt tel us d first female in Nigeria to get a Phd in Mathematics then.

Ladies and Gents plz join me in celebrating Prof Olabisi Ugbebor, the first woman in Nigeria to get a Phd Honour in Mathematics in 1976 at the age of 25yrs.
Looking at the current comatose state of our educational system, I can't help bt envy Mama for her great achievement.
She is still very agile and an active Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, University of Ibadan (UI).
God Bless Ma

Wat a straight 2 d point write up. U jst took d words frm my mouth. Diz wat I hv alwys bn tellin my ibo friends, d ibos hv become politically irrelevant in Nigeria. Hw they quickly sell their right to b voted for to the highest bidder stil baffles me!
Yet they keep shouting of marginalization, wat a set of pple. They hv no strong nd influential member in APC neither do they hv in PDP, yet they want president of Igbo origin. Is it dt local champion party (APGA) dt wil lead them 2 So rock?

PoliticsRe: 2015 PRESIDENTIAL DECLARATION!!!BUHARI VISITS AND INVITES GOVERNOR FASHOLA!(PIX) by hybeenoni: 5:51pm On Oct 13, 2014
Bia nwoke! I posted about buhari inviting people for his declaration! You're talking about saraki holding Kwara people to ramson. If Kwarans deem it fit to perpetually honour worship the sarakis how does it affect you as an individual? Peter obi singlehandedly installed obiano, ibori installed his cousin but in your bias and jaundiced mind it is that of the sarakis you saw and worried about. I'm sure he's not holding the populace by putting a gun to their heads.

Tinubu met Lagos with an IGR of about 6billion Naira and left it hitting 20billion Naira monthly. I'm from itunpate in Ikorodu Local government Area of lagos state and I've seen the various impact of fashola from roads to schools to courthouses to free medical care to water to brt and if tinubu being the architect of the big IGR is paid for the consultancy he is doing then I have no problem since I know how my state was and how it is now. I love the APC and the change it symbolizes. "Where man dey work na there him dey chop"

Is Obj now in APC? the onus and power to probe all the people you listed is vested in Jonathan and the PDP. The EFCC and ICPC are Agencies of the Federal Government, Don't you think it is a classic example of a dunce and da.ft government if these people you listed above as corrupt can't be made scapegoat by the Jonathan Adminstration? they are opposition elements! He can arrange for their investigation! But alas ! your commander in thief just arranged for Mohammed Abacha's freedom from corruption and money laundering investigation and court case, FFK case is dropped, Stella Oduah no case submission, Malabu Oil Scandal no case submission, Pension fund nothing yet, Ndudi elumelu case no mention again, faruk lawan did you hear anything, Patricia Etteh how far, Peter Odili (he has a PERPETUAL RESTRAINING ORDER) from being probed for corrupt acts and instead of your President and EFCC to challenge such, His wife was made a SUPREME COURT JUSTICE and HE HIMSELF just received a NATIONAL MERIT AWARD for being a very good and special NIGERIAN, want me to go on?.
Bros corruption wear coat for your PDP but you people will close eye to the log in your eye yet be looking at the speck in others.

You're asking the qualification of the SPEAKER of the House of Representatives to be a Governor? Are you for real?

Compare the performance of your best performing governor in the PDP with that of the least performing governor in the APC bearing in mind the resources and allocation available to those states.

No sane Nigerian will hope to have the PDP in Aso Rock after the 16years of wanton and daylight robbery of our commonwealth.

Nna u jst made my day! Reading ur post convinced me dt truly we hv sm Nigerians who r truly objective in their arguement
