The Isrealis Govt don't take shits from its enemies especially the Arab world which houses the most tryannts n bloodthirsty people in the world..osama,bin laden,ghadaffi,to mention but a few...they(hamas militia group) shud av realised dat before they fired the first rocket into Gaza thereby puting the lives of civilians at risk..

** If you go to Kano the streetlights are all functioning, the pavements and roads are working, rehabilitation of culverts and drainages is ongoing. In the night you feel like you are in Dubai. There is also general road infrastructure uplift; all the roads leading to Kano are being expanded with street lights and drainages.

** Construction of 3 new cities, Amana City, Kwankwasiya City and another one along Dambatta Road - all equipped with modern infrastructure that will decongest Kano. This is a laudable project.

** On the issue of youth employment, There is school of fishery, sports, ITC, entrepreneurship, poultry and all different trades where students will be trained and be given empowerment.

** Kwankwaso also received two prestigious awards by American Black Mayors at the at the 39th National Annual Conference of a Black Mayors for his "commitment to uplifting the well being of the citizenry as well as his transparency, prudence and accountability of public resources" in Atlanta, Georgia

LagosShia: i think the OP might have a point.if the alcohol was seized in muslim area of the state,then the government is right.in a country like Nigeria (even if the state be majority Muslim),we should be sensitive to feelings and beliefs of others,and be tolerant to them.the Christians should know how not to violate the rights and feelings of muslims,and the muslims too should be tolerant where they are a majority.the same should apply if the case is the other way round.

the government can do itself good in kano by issuing out licenses to stores. The license can act as permission to sell alcohol in certain locations in the state where Christians reside or visit for leisure. I think even in western countries stores do acquire licenses to make sure that alcohol is not sold to underage individuals. This license can serve in northern Nigeria as a way to hold accountable the people permitted in trading alcohol to non-Muslims. Those without license cannot trade alcohol,and those with license can only trade alcohol where permitted. Anything outside this amounts to breaking the law and offending Muslims.

indeed the sharia law is not meant for non-muslims to observe it or for it to be applied on them.sharia law is meant only for muslims to observe and apply, and for muslims to be punished for not observing it.you don't have to frown or feel offended if non-muslims is drinking alcohol where permitted even if the place be majority muslim.let them be.i personally do hate alcohol with a passion,and I don't sit around people drinking it when I can take my leave.so we need to offend no one or confront them because of our own laws,especially when there are too many options for us to still observe and protect our beliefs and at the same time showing tolerance.

You should be ashamed of yourself. There is no law that forbids the use of aircrafts older than 20 years anywhere in world. What is more important is air-worthiness of the aircraft. If 20 year old aircrafts are still being used in Europe and US, why should you and your master, Tinubu, insist that the standard should be different in Nigeria? More over, the aircraft in question is just one out of 24 others. In addition, orders have been placed for 10 new ones. So why did you pick on that one, neglecting the rest? Because it suits your devilish political agenda? Shame on you.
