The competition in the processor market is healthy. The Helio X10 was a competitive release from Mediatek, and the X20 is highly anticipated as the first decacore. Same with SD 820 and whatever that new Kirin is called. 950? Intel is coming up as well, but still have some way to go. Exynos isn't so widely in use from anything part from Samsung, but they sure are powerful.

I rooted for 2 reasons. 3 actually.

1. I was switching to a new device. Titanium backup helped me take a perfect backup of the old device.

2. I updated my firmware. Sweet.

3. I hate limitations such as not being able to use certain apps because they need root access. I'll never have to worry about that now.

Plus being able to use Lucky Patcher, deleting bloatware.

Don't root if you don't know how. But if you're a power user have fun. All phones can be used without rooting so it's not for everyone.

However, some of those don't qualify as 'supercars' in the strict sense of the word. Like the Challenger or the Camaro.

I love gaming... So much. Especially racing games. For lack of better, I've been playing Beach Buggy Blitz like crazy on my phone... I love racing games...

Maybe I could obsessively hone my skills to the level of an eAthlete. Not bad.

It's actually monthly.

I use the free servers anyway, it's not always so easy to connect however, but once you do, it stays up. It can however disconnect sometimes. You get 1GB bandwidth daily on each server.

My best apps are Psiphon Handler, Poweramp Pro, ES file Explorer pro, MX player pro for videos, Nova Launcher Prime, Titanium backup Pro, Lucky Patcher, Tubemate for downloading crispy HD videos from Youtube, TV Showtime to follow up on my favourite TV shows, Marshmallow wallpapers, Safe In Cloud Pro for storing all my passwords and UC browser for downloading large files. You guys can add up yours so I can steal any interesting one. I'm not a game person so no games for me. I prefer PS or Laptop Games with an actual pad.

I'm also MX for videos, I have Lucky Patcher, Tweakware (in place of Psiphon, although I have it, but the other is more reliable for me).

I use DoubleTwist for music, it's not for everyone though, minimalist interface, with a 5-band equalizer. I tried PowerAmp once, liked it, but settled on this.

SwiftKey keyboard too.

I'm loving how I can change fonts.

As far as I can see there's no empty home screen. If a home screen is blank, it'll remove it.

You're contact doesn't appear full screen if you set the icon. It appears in a tiny circle, I think.

Nothing definite as far as I know, but updates tend to come with minor fixes and tweaks, so there could be possible slight increases in efficiency.

I just notice that my phone doesn't heat as before.

No need to use SN write tool Cos the IMEI numbers are already there. Dial *#06# to confirm and you'll need to root again after flashing a Stock ROM cos you'll lose your root access.

I flash it with SP Flash tool... I get that part.

Is there any need to use the SN Write tool to fix the IMEI afterwards?

And do I need to root it again?

Try using ucbrowser to download it. If the link expires.

How To Resume:

Step 1: First Goto File Manager > UC Downloads > Then Find Your Downloading File And .tmp File Just Below Your Downloading File.

Eg: Im Downloading XYZ.apk And It Fails At 53%. So Now I Need To Goto File Manager > UC Downloads > And I Have To File Named XYZ.apk And XYZ.apk.tmp Files.

Step 2: Now We Have To Move Those Files From UC Downloads Folder To Any Other Folder.

Step 3: Then Again We Need To Open UC Browser App And We Have To Delete XYZ.apk File From Downloading Files.

Step 4: Now We Have To Download Same File Again From The Same Link For A Minimum Of 2-5% And Pause It.

Step 5: Then Again Goto File Manager > UC Downloads > Now Delete Those Two Files [Downloading File & .Tmp File]

Step 6: Now Goto Folder Where You Moved First Two Downloading Files And Move Them Back To UC Downloads Folder.

Step 7: Now Open UC Browser App Again And Goto Download Manager And Resume Your Download.

So I've rooted my M5 successfully and used Titanium Backup to restore my old applications. I'm really loving this device.

Great screen, okay camera, I love the headphones and sound quality. The UI is pleasant although I don't like no app drawer, and the battery is superb. I'm loving it.

I tried downloading the new firmware but the link expired when I was only at 300+. I don't know how I expect to get the whole thing if it'll keep expiring. Is there any other place with a link that doesn't expire?

Just got mine. I'm thrilled right now. Will post more on it a little bit later.

It's about time I change phones. I've been using the Tecno S5 for almost exactly 24 months now. It's obviously outdated and I had 0 complaints with it. I had to change the battery after a year, but that's nothing.

It's time I move on. She has served me well. If only the Phantom 5 was 20k cheaper... But it isn't.
