Checkout996:Can you check your Whatsapp please? |
cao:I just discovered these guys yesterday. I don't listen to drill, but I be vibing. |
Gptech:Gracias! Much appreciated! |
Hello everyone! Please, I'm looking to get a smaller gen and I'm looking between the TEC Junior and the Sumec Firman 1990ES. Which would you recommend going for between these two? Thank you. And unrelated, but does anyone know the average wattage of an inverter AC? I don't expect the above Gens to carry it, it's just another question. ![]() |
HyDef:Any help, please? |
zhukafa:Lagos. |
Hello everyone. Good day! ![]() My lady wants to get a generator, so I wanted to know what the best brand/model would be to power a: -Single-door refrigerator -Mist fan -About three bulbs -Laptop and phone chargers Would a 2.5KVA generator be alright for these? It'd be best if the generator is durable and fuel-efficient, with a budget between 100,000 and 150,000. Thank you, I appreciate any help! ![]() |
Saw Zack Snyder's Justice League today. I loved it, and Whedon did us all an Injustice (see what I did there?) with the 2017 version. 8/10 for me. I'd love to hear that JL2 has been greenlit, but I'm not holding my breath. |
anonymousey:Thank you for your response, but he's one of those I have reached out to prior. He won't be able to do an item that high. |
Hey everyone. I'm in need of someone who can make eBay orders and ship them from the US to Nigeria on my behalf. I'm looking for someone whose rates are around 380-400/$. The issue I'm encountering with most people who offer this rate is the fact that none of them have the funds to help with my purchase. It is about $700+ for a single item. Also, I'm looking for someone who will be able to get it down here before the 21st of April. If this sounds like something you can do, just drop a message here. Thank you. |
So, I recently collected my last package from MetroBox sometime last week. I delivered 2 of the 5 items to Lagos without a hitch, and picked up the other 3 in Ibadan, rather easily. However, this wasn't without its complications. As everyone says, one of the biggest issues I have transacting with him is communication. It is honestly very poor. He does give updates when he has to, but to reply or respond to questions or requests you have can take hours. This is my 4th transaction with him since my first transaction in April last year. Unfortunately, communication hasn't improved, in my opinion. With my last transaction, one of the items I ordered was a new 20,000mAh powerbank. First of all, it came without a box. The cardboard insert that is meant to be inside the box came, but not the box itself. That wasn't even the biggest problem. The biggest problem was that I got a completely different powerbank from what I ordered. I got a 10,000mAh powerbank from the same brand, but clearly a different product. It was a completely different design. I might have given him the benefit of the doubt with that, but on two occasions prior, I have noticed he ordered something different from the exact product listing that I sent him. The first was the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ that I ordered. If you go through my post history, you'll see my previous review here. The difference was minimal, because he simply bought a Canadian version instead of a US version. But I noticed that it was still a different listing from what I sent and he gave no explanation for why. I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S for my brother in one colour, yet the listing he purchased was different once again, and it was in another colour. I never mentioned anything because these were very minor. But I don't get why he can't explain the reason for buying another listing if there is a problem with the first one? I was able to notice this because he sent the purchase history to me and I could clearly see it was different from what I sent him. This powerbank issue is much bigger than the previous experiences though. This is a completely different product than what I paid for. I messaged him about the issue since the 17th of February when I picked up the items. He messaged in the morning of the 18th and told me to send pictures, which I also did that same morning. He read the messages at night on the 19th. He hasn't replied since. Today is the 22nd. I'd think that knowing that a customer has a dispute or a major complaint should be something that is taken seriously. So you can see the issue regarding communication. But anyway, I have resigned to my fate. I am not really looking for reparations regarding the powerbank. I have accepted it and will use it as it is. I'm only here to give an honest review of how it is transacting with MetroBox. I have no doubt that you will receive your items, but getting to that point is stressful due to the bad communication. And you should probably ask for the purchase history to make sure it is exactly what you sent that he ordered. I didn't do that for the last one, so I'm not sure whether the problem is from the seller or he ordered something different. His rates are the most attractive, which is why I stuck with him through all this. But I think this will likely be my last transaction with him. Adding this after he reached out this evening. The problem with the powerbank is truly from the seller's end as he has shown me the purchase history. However, I still expected a response as opposed to being left on read. |

tohby2:No, that's for my old phone that I wanted to sell, not the Note 10. ![]() |
Hey everyone. Here to say that I've received yet another shipment of mine from MetroBox. Honestly, I can transact with him with my eyes closed at this point. This is the third time I've collected my items from him, and it's always real easy. He has what are probably the best rates too. ![]()
|
tohby2:Don't worry. I ordered a Note 10+ myself, and it got here just as I expected. ![]() |
I just got the second set of items I ordered from MetroBox, and I can assure you all that he's the real deal. This time, I put a lot more money up, but I wasn't worried for once. He was consistent with the status updates on my shipment, and that was reassuring. Honestly, I have no issues recommending his services to anyone. I'd use him again, easily. ![]()

cao:This is great. ![]() The title says it all. |
In case you've been hesitating on pulling the trigger, I can tell you that MetroBox is completely legit. I was in serious doubt initially because of how attractive his exchange rate was, but he managed to convince me to give him a trial and I did just that. I got my items from him today, exactly as I expected them. It did take a little while to get them, but I'm more pleased that I was able to order and receive my items during this whole pandemic. I might also have liked regular updates regarding the delay, but overall I am very pleased with his service. I will definitely use his services again. Edit: I also bought a replacement battery for my phone, but I have installed that already.

Azurevermilion:Typically when you download it off a site like that, the apk should be like 50MB and the obb file like 1.8GB. I'm not sure why your apk is so large though. But yes, typically, the resources it downloads should be around 1.6-1.8GB so it sounds normal. |
cao:I feel you. Honestly a waste if you're not going to push to 4K to take in all that glory. Godspeed. |
cao:Just checked this out. 480p of course, I don't even have 4K display in the first place. Screen recording software tends to be a bit tasking, especially as such high resolutions. Probably responsible for the noticeable drops in frame rate. Sunset Overdrive reminds me fondly of JSRF, probably my favourite game ever. It is a good looking game though. |
cao:Oh my. I appreciate this. ![]() I'll watch it later tonight and tell you what I think. |
cao:That's very very odd. I wonder why it'd do that. I'm glad I was able to change the res though. 1080p always has to buffer a dozen times. |
cao:Tried to watch this, but apparently the mobile web version of Twitch doesn't allow for changing the quality. Looked 1080p crisp, and my network couldn't keep up. ![]() |
cao:The way you're laughing is hilarious. Well-played though. ![]() |
I saw Shame (2011) last. Along with my man, Jakey G, Michael Fassbender sure doesn't get enough credit. One of the best in his generation. |
Hello everyone! It's nice to see this place alive after all this time. There's no challenge yet, but let me drop a few of my favourites I've taken recently.

ITbomb:It's Lion King II - Simba's Pride Gamebreak. The pictured one is a minigame called Paddle Bash. |
Just like cartoons, it's one of the forms of entertainment that appeals a lot to children. People then associate it with children, and see an adult watching anime or playing video games as being childish or jobless. Obviously, there are levels to cartoons and video games, but I guess most folks don't really appreciate that distinction. |
Depends on how old he is, but honestly, actions like that have consequences. How old is he though? (Although to successfully sell a console, probably old enough) He has to compensate you. Either in cash, or by way of non-essential property of his. |
Kojima games are similar to Arthouse films. Depending on who you ask, they're either absolutely brilliant, or a load of crap/waste of time. I played MGS2: Substance, and I really liked it. Solid game, and the amount of surprises in the gameplay despite being a relatively old game made me respect it. Death Stranding looks weird as hell, but it's Kojima, so not so surprising. He's probably the closest thing to an auteur in the video game realm. I heard it's coming out on PC next year. I might consider it. It has Mads Mikkelsen too, so another point in its favour. |
taiocol:Hehe, I come every once in a while. I'm doing my housemanship and I'm usually crazy busy because of that. I always see your stuff on IG though! |
