I think I'm a little good.

Heard that in 10, window borders are 1 pixel wide? If true, it'd give a very clean look. |
There was no electricity for 2 days. We made our own solution with one generator.

I think Windows 10 is gonna be killer. Microsoft have made too many mistakes in the past, and they know what's at stake now. Let's leave the nightmare of 8 behind us. The 'universal OS' is what I want to watch play out. I think it has a lot of potential. And Cortana. ![]() |
nwanioma:Oh, I see. That makes sense now. No problem, any time. ![]() |
farano::-| I've seen this happen in the movies! This always happens after the break-up! Phase 1: Second Thoughts. :p |
You can get a touchscreen laptop for that price, but you are sacrificing significant performance. Imagine a dual core 1Ghz processor, or 1 or 2 GB of RAM. That's what you'd be getting in a touchscreen at that price. And most likely a mini, with a small keyboard. /inspiron-core-i3-touchscreen-1401785/ Still a Dell, and I'm not sure about that warranty. They have authorized distributors in Lagos if that means anything. Appears to be full-sized though. And the specs are okay for that price, although it's 110k. /asus-vivobook-f200la-ct013h-core-i3-4gb-500gb-hdd-11-6-inch-windows-8-touchscreen-laptop-1100626/ Konga says this one comes with a 2 year warranty, but ASUS doesn't have domestic offices, so the warranty will probably be handled by Konga themselves. It's a mini though. EDIT: The links aren't showing properly. There is meant to be www.konga.c om in front of the slashes. Don't know why it's disappearing. Just bear with me and pop it in front of the links I put. |
farano:Perhaps that's the price of his love. :p Don't be mad with him, he's overprotective. You're his teddy bear. :p But seeing as he has made it 'official', you don't need to worry about that anymore. :/ |
Keketu:I'm sorry 'real life boyfriend of farano'. :/ I don't see anything inflammatory in what I said, and if there is, I didn't mean it. Neither am I trying to rip her away from you. :p I was appreciating her views cuz it tells us what ladies appreciate. ![]() |
Temmytea70:All prisoners lose their liberty. It's part of being a prisoner. You asked a question, answering it does not necessary mean I wish to be imprisoned, but if I was, it would be in Norway. Easy? Thank you, I wish you yours as well. |
They are around (trust me) but you either have to have the will to search them out, or the patience to wait for them to come to you. Well, patience they say is a virtue. ![]() |
Thank you farano. This is highly educative. ![]() It deserves quite the attention. It was written by a lady. She's giving us those insights into the mind of females. We don't want to know it all. No, we don't want to delve too deep into that beautiful disaster that is a woman's mind, but we just want a taste of it. Oh, and how much we love it. ![]() |

Check out this Dell for 104k. www./dell-inspiron-14z-ultrabook-intel-core-i31.8ghz-6gb-ram-500gb32gb-ssd-14-inch-windows-8-red-colour-44125.html The specs get a thumbs up from me. You could get this HP for under a 100 too. www./hp-250-g3-intel-core-i3-1.7ghz-4gb-500gb-windows-8.1-64bit-notebook-black-182709.html Basically though, I prefer the Dell. An SSD for that price is a snatch. 6GB of RAM as well, although they both have i3 processors. |
Factory? We don't have laptop factories here in Ibadan. Everything is imported ya know. I don't think there are any manufacturers that have factories anywhere in Nigeria. I could be wrong. |
Why would you kill so many? If you told me that they were shooting to disable and misjudged one or two, I'd say that made sense, but you just shot to kill all of them. The ones that are alive are most likely those that got off lucky. |
Have you checked the recycle bin? There might be more complex ways to recover your files but I'm no expert in data recovery. |
Qhal:Its not in the recycle bin? If it is, restore it. You could just make a new folder called Videos. That's if you are trying to get the folder back and not it's contents. |
No problem man. Any time. |
Well, I'm not sure what exactly to say, but I'd say that it's best to get your product new. That way you eliminate a whole bunch of potential issues you could have, and at the same time, if there are any, you might be able to get them fixed. Acer is a common enough brand here, so I don't see anything bad about going for an Acer mini, although I'm personally not a fan of the brand for reasons I can't really explain. A Dell mini is not a bad idea either. Depends on what you'll be using the laptop for. If it's the typical stuff like documents and movies and browsing, a mini will suffice. I'd say go for the Dell/Acer. |
Well, I don't see what's so remarkable. The design is pretty much plain, although it's obvious not a typical in-ear design, going for a look that reminds of Apple's earpods. Its the sound quality that's gonna speak for it though, so let's wait for reviews after the phone's release. |
ollah1:I agree with you completely, but I find it strange to have such a feature on one iteration and then just remove it. I understand that there is a limit, but personally (and maybe that's just the thing), I find water-resistance a selling point. So like you said, it's about what the consumer wants. As long as there is no downgrading on the S6 Active (at least significant downgrading), I'll be fine with that. |
I'm not very enthralled by the design. Still the same Galaxy look, and to me, the Galaxy look is boring. Top of the line specs, although I don't think the removal of water-resistance was such a spectacular idea. I know they want to reserve that feature for the S6 Active, but that's one of the selling points of the Xperia Z line, and by addressing that, they prevent the competition from having an obvious pro. |
I've read it over enough - in my head and out loud - to conclude that there is nothing wrong with the grammar in that ad. If it's over the use of the word 'think', then that's just sad, cuz we know that's just a figure of speech. |
It's called a "velvet tamarind". Truth. |
Have you solved the issue? |
Right clicking on any doc or docx file should bring up a context menu with 'open with...' and somewhere around there you should see 'change default program'. You browse to Program Files or wherever you might have installed your Microsoft Word and select it. Voila. |
Pretty much 2 things you can do when it comes to a mini. 1. Get an external CD drive and a copy of whichever Windows OS to reinstall. Is it Windows 7? 2. Get a flash drive large enough to contain the setup files for the OS, and boot from it. Not all laptops can boot from USB, but newer ones mostly should be able to. By going into the BIOS, there should be a point that speaks something of boot priority or something, maybe bootable drives. Check and see if USB is an option when your flash drive is connected. If it is, set it to the highest priority. If it isn't, you may have to disable an option which might be along the lines of fast boot or something in the BIOS, then save and restart, and the option should be there. I believe that the contents of the drive should simply be whatever you pulled straight out of the OS disc. Please keep us posted. |
I can't sell my phone for an S6. Why? I don't like Samsung's smartphones and how everything looks the same. Trivial I know, but that's just how I see it. Plastic casing too? I know at this point, they are trying to swerve from that, but nope, I'd rather stare at Xperias. |
