The R35 GT-R. My absolute favourite vehicle. |
When will this stop circulating? This is the second time I've seen it hit front page, and at least 7 of those acronyms are not acronyms at all. It's educative, with the correct ones, but very misleading with the others. |
Chevrolet Bel-Air. ![]() |
"According to our source the device is rumored to spot higher features than its predecessor." Holy shít, you don't say. ![]() |

That's a fracking Porsche!!! Not a Ferrari! ![]() |
HyperNova:No sir... As fictional a name as 'Legolas'. I was hoping to see his wife dressed in a Snow White costume, and his son dressed up like Aragorn, but alas. |
My man is back, and still back with some amazing shots! It's been too long, but it's great seeing these pictures from you. I just had to take the chainlink fence picture for a wallpaper. SmooshCHN:I agree completely. My favourite is the second. All the white just has an effect. SmooshCHN:I love that landscape picture. It's gorgeous. SmooshCHN:The pictures with the Masked Man might be my favourite you've done. The one with the smoke, how did you achieve that? And then the one in front of the illuminated building is very nice. |
Talk about legroom! ![]() |
I don't like it, but at least the material wasn't expensive. |
Anencephaly. |
I love the newer Volvo vehicles. The rear lights are quite attractive. This one is no exception, looks just as good as the others. It doesn't have those absurdly blocky SUV traits of nowadays. It's still got some shape. And Volvo is somewhat a pioneer in automotive safety, so I think it's a hit in my book. |
I freaking love it. Small and simple, has a futuristic look, with those lights. Kind of how the future looked in retro media. |
Pokémon Red and Super Smash Bros 64. Others include Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, and Harvest Moon 64. |
That Animal Crossing one reminds me of one of my favourite games of all time. Harvest Moon 64. I'd last a nice 70 years there. I'd like to play Animal Crossing. Seems similar. |
SkyCityBay1:I'm definitely not contradicting myself. You wanted me to throw soccer games off the table cuz of the points you made, and I did that, trying to demonstrate that even without soccer games, Mario is still more popular than God of War. You didn't even define what you mean by popularity. Is it how many people are talking about it, or how many people know it? Because more people know Mario than those who know God of War, and no one at this moment is really talking about either of them that much, seeing as they were both released too long ago to be a topic of discussion. Now if you said most popular action-adventure game, then I'd agree with you. But you're talking about video games in general, which shocks me. Maybe the years around its release, your claim might have been true, but no longer. PES/FIFA are the most popular game series in Nigeria, hands down. Whether you're talking about how many people have heard of it, or how many people are currently speaking of it. Whether it's because Nigerians are fanatical about it, I don't give two craps. It's the truth. Emoji will not 'work' on you? I use them when I want to. |
SkyCityBay1:First of all, I must ask. When you say popular, you simply mean 'having heard of', and not necessarily 'having played', because I'm sure it can't be the latter. Super Mario is more popular than God of War in that case. ![]() I'm sure I can ask the next 10 people I see on the street, whether they've heard of God of War. 5 males, 5 females. I can bet that maybe 4 of the guys would have heard of the game, and possibly one of the girls. But I could probably tell you that all 10 of them would have heard of Super Mario. ![]() |
"...and in case you didn't know,God Of War is the most popular video game in Nigeria." ![]() I agree that years ago, it had a very special place in the hearts of my classmates, but that was like a decade ago. The average Nigerian really only gives a crap for PES or FIFA. |
Well, there are 2 things I like Apple for. They've got their own in-house processor and an OS which is optimized to perfection with it, and then pretty clean designs. The cameras are top notch too, but so many others are. I do not like how they tend to crawl on catching up. That the phones only got fast charging is sort of appalling. It reminds me of Sony and their stubbornness in following trends as well. The mobile business is one where you keep up or get thrown out. Apple is in a position of superiority in that regard though. However, this might be the first iPhone that I find acceptable compared to other flagships. I wouldn't buy it, but the deficiencies are a lot less than previous generations. I am a fan of Portrait mode, and how you can now mess around with the lighting. That's something I'd love to see other manufacturers do. Animoji is unique, but doesn't really make or break anything. Well, they've changed to OLED, but that's also not a deal breaker, as Sony still sticks religiously with its LCDs to good effect. I find the competition in the Androidsphere to be healthy, and currently, I'm waiting to see what Huawei's Mate 10 will bring. |
chukxie:What's it stuffed with? ![]() |
chukxie:Yes, I might drop a few deserving pictures there to see if it can be brought back to life. You can drop some of these wonderful pictures as well! ![]() Hehe, if only they knew your gift with the camera, they wouldn't speak such words! ![]() |
MrBrownJay1:I didn't know that, that explains a lot. Thanks. |
Chukxie, beautiful pictures as usual. Shanghai looks gorgeous. Very European looking architecture. Not what I'd have expected. |
DaimlerBen:True. The newest model got a minor face-lift, mostly at the front and rear bumpers, and that was about it. Still instantly recognizable. I'm waiting for whenever they decide its time for the R36. ![]() |
nurey:Definitely. The performance is incredible, particularly the acceleration. I remember when Jeremy Clarkson drove it on Top Gear. He absolutely loved it. |
nurey:This is the first time I've heard anyone say the GT-R is a 'crappy attempt' at a sports car. It hits well above its price bracket for the performance it cranks out. |
Sunkyphil:Same here. It's almost 2 years old, and not as snappy as it used to be, but it still does pretty well. |
Fo' real? They shouldn't buy the Note 8 because the previous model had a defect? A defect which had its cause discovered, to the point that the device was sold refurbished after replacing with a smaller battery? (Note 7 FE (Fan Edition)) Your logic can apply to absolutely any device. Maybe I should hold up before getting the Mate 10 because I don't know if it's gonna go up in fireworks? Any device can have a defect, Samsung made a mistake, that's what caused theirs. It's obvious you didn't hear about how they make their batteries go through some 8(?)-step safety testing now? That's why the S8 launched late. They were trying to stop a repeat. So, I say, buy a freakin' Note 8 on launch day if that's your style. |
I'm hoping The Notorious will win this one. |
cao:No clapping emoji here, but well done! |
OHIsIManuEL:Very well said. It's a proper flagship. Don't forget there's always build quality, as the 8 comes with a heat pipe and a graphite shield for heat management. The guys at GSMArena said that even while running benchmarks, the phone controlled the heat like an absolute boss. Evenly spread, and barely warm. And a polarized screen for great sunlight legibility. And a guaranteed update to Android O. I use a Gionee, but I won't ever compare any of their devices to a 2017 flagship. I'm eagerly waiting to see the Mate 10. |

Thanks.
