Politics / Re: Buhari's Speech At The Launch Of "Change Begins With Me", Plus The Official Logo by Hyzink(m): 10:19pm On Sep 09, 2016
I totally agree with our president. GEN MOHAMADU BUHARI that ''CHANGE BEGINS WITH ME''.

We see in him that he is really passionate about bringing out the positive #CHANGE in every Nigerian and like he said, #CHANGE should begin within us individually.

Changing our mindset and our way of life positively to affect those around us in a good way, taking responsibility and not looking for anybody or anything to blame.

It is high time we stopped complaing and start working the good works and thinking the good thoughts that will help bring into shape the kind of #CHANGE we want, the kind of #CHANGE we all dream of.

Nothing is impossible if we put our minds to it and putting our joint efforts to work. #CHANGE is not far fetched when we start converting our ill thoughts to healthy ones.

The day you use the pedestrian bridge even when the law enforcement agents are not there or not because you are afraid of being hit by a vehicle, but because you know its the right thing to do despite the fact that you are getting late for the appointment you are going to meet. Then you know the #CHANGE we want is coming into reality.

Corruption is everywhere even in the midst of primary school pupils, where a pupil is giving choco milo to another pupil to help him complete a note.

But, I put it to you that the day you yourself reminds the conductor to collect your bus fare,
the day you return the excess balance the market woman gives you,
the day you start joining and maintaining the Q at the filling stations and ATM points and other places of the same sort,
the day you start studying hard to pass your exams without employing any other manipulating means,
the day you stop doing eye service or giving tips to those concerned with promotion in your work place in order for you to be promoted and you start doing extra work that will legitimately qualify you for the promotion you deserve,
the day you start thinking about those around you before yourself.

I tell you that the positive #CHANGE we all clamour for is so near...

I BELIEVE NIGERIA CAN ONLY BE BETTER.
I BELIEVE IN THE PRESIDENT OF OUR DEAR COUNTRY, NIGERIA.
I BELIEVE IN MY FELLOW LOYAL NIGERIANS.
I BELIEVE IN THESE 4WORDS THAT SAYS...

"CHANGE BEGINS WITH ME!"

kindly re-broadcast till it gets to every optimistic Nigerian.

If it's true that she demanded part of the donation then she is a despicable human being

Open ya eye and read well so you will understand o. She didn't demand a part of the money, she only wanted a space beside Mayowa when she been flown abroad. Is that too much to want for somebody who used her celeb influence to help them raise the huge sum they couldn't have gotten even in months?

i will be concluding my ND PT program this year in the department of Office Technology And Management[secretarial studies] in Laspotech. i would like to apply for direct entry into a university to do public admin or any other social science courses. Please what are my chances?

I believe my result will be available at most a month after my 2nd semester exam which we will resume on the 9th of April 2016 and we wont be doing any 1year IT, we can even apply for full time HND immediately the form is out in my school{Laspotech} So I don't think my result should be a barrier. As at ND2 2nd semester my gp was 2.67/4.0 and i hope to do more this year to boost it to 3... I don't want to wait till next year

you have a very big and bright chance. But I tell you, bro, you have no real chance this year. The followin are the reasons:
1. You're yet to complete your Diploma program. Hence your final results couldn't have been released before the whole Direct Entry process begins.
2. You're a Part Timer. Part Time students MUST do regularization with Jamb.
3. Subsequent to your unavailable results, your transcripts wouldn't have been possible to forward to the Direct Entry choice of Institution.
MY ADVISE...
i. Get more serious about your academics and graduate with Distinction or a very strong Upper Credit in your course of study.
ii. Follow all the process for this year's Direct Entry format on this thread so that you'd be on course and well informed when you finally get to obtain the form too next year, 2017.
Doing the above, your extent of getting informed knows no bound. You're going places I tell you...
Shalom!

Celepope: Many Nigerians just like condemning anything church perhaps it is based on poverty. You guys should cut them some slack.I am not taking side with this man but he is not far from the truth. Most private University even in the US owned by churches are also expensive.A good example is Oral Roberts University.I have not come across where the owners of the religious Universities forced anyone to attend their school. It is by choice. Some will soon start complaining that his members can't attend his school.Funny enough many of them are not complaining so why are you guys bothered? If you think you have the money then your can send your kids there but if not you can sure look else where i.e Adekunle Ajasin University and other.Anyways even the useless state Universities in Nigeria are getting expensive daily without any meaningful infrastructure and wack administration so you guys should ponder on the difference between both.
dey hear mumu tlk! Diffs no dey btw state ownd institution n church ownd institution? Abi, afta we don pay tax, rent, transportation among al oda xpenses, cm remain money wey we supose take chop, stil we go use am giv offrins of al sort, pay tithes n even donate 2wrds d buildin of d church n university, re we nt supose 2b able 2afford it? Abi d schorlarship wey dem dey claim sey dm dey giv, shey no b dia rich pastor's children or wards n sm few briliant students dey win am? So dos dt re averagely brilliant one's n dos wey no rich offend God, abi? Ponder on dis, I REST MY CASE!
