In this life know your enemies on Time, and in whatever you do, don't let them kill you.
They will ask God for forgiveness.

I have always thought about this. Someone can kill you and you will go to hell if you were a sinner at that point meanwhile same killer can repent later and even go to heaven.

Lol. Chams have been noised here since when it was selling @30k and below nah.
Something is happening there, if you see buy some, if you're a risk taker.........it's currently on full bid

Pick some Transcorp too........and I've been mentioning it that they're crossing it here and preventing the price from going up.....the moves there were suspicious.

Pls do your DD if you know how to do it.

Quick question please. Lets say i place an order to buy some shares at a market limit of 12 but the next day the price goes beyond 12. Does it mean i have to cancel the order and make a new one at the new market price?

Some of us are sitting on only one stock. Oando. Sold Zenith and GT and invested in Oando at around N5.
Will maximize my gains from Oando and then re buy Zenith and GT for steady future dividends

You’re up 140% already. Congrats. I’m also a one stock kinda guy. I believe that’s the fastest route to getting rich in the shortest possible time

I think a great book is "The little book of value investing" by Christopher H Browne. Basic and enlightening.

On intrinsic value as someone has pointed out, I use the financial metric described here.
https://www.fool.com/terms/i/intrinsic-value/

Predicting the earnings growth rate is its limitation though. It works quite fine when trying to determine how much to pay for stocks. For foreign stocks (on other major exchanges) have many resources such as forecasts by major investment banks, which are very helpful, but some people like to use average growth rate over a number of previous years. The FCF approach is a little complicated as many people who trade stocks don't even know how to or don't care to estimate FCF basically in the first place.

Going through financial statements helps with extracting figures for many of the metrics needed for valuation. That in itself is an informal valuation approach.

Wow greatly appreciate this. You have no idea how helpful this is. Many thanks. I always felt these techniques dont work for naija stocks o😁. Apparently i was wrong

As profit takers jump out, opportunities are created. Keep eyes on OANDO and UBA!

OANDO @ 11 naira. My gains on Oando is almost eclipsing my temporary loss so far on Dangote Sugar.

Also learn to analyze intrinsic value of stocks, so you know how to identify overvalue and and undervalued company. Seeking stockpicks from guru without due diligence = blaming the adviser if things go wrong. Na so 1 person dey fight everybody for the forum because some1 recommend a broker.

I’m very much interested in learning how to value stocks. Could you help with pointers in this regard. What books can i read?
