D whole church felt bad, u cld see d look on d faces of people, because sister faith is a very loving simple sister, a teacher in the children class, a hardworking sister
but no one in the church will be able to stand up and disprove the pastor, cos of fear of Gods wrath for disputing the pastor! And so shall it be! This is what has given the upper hand! I have seen a lot that no one needs to advice me to stay off these people.. Like his life is any clean

Lol...because what they see isn't really visions of Heaven or Hell, but illusions. Anyone who sees heaven or hell does not return to earth.

Please, nobody should quote me with their 'true story' accounts or their 'I know somebody who knows somebody who knows a pastor that saw it' account

I've also seen pastors who does that.... And to b frank wit, i feel bad hearing them talk like that. But sometimes, i dont seem to blame them much cos it doesnt seem like they r nt real men of God, but its the kind of personality they possess that makes some of them talk like that.. If someone is too lousy, loquacious or too plain, sumtimes it tends to reflect on d words they say.

Or imagine telling a pastor like that sumtin that bothers u, the whole church will hear it d next day....

sinequanon:
Most atheists belong to the following category..

8.) The refugee
Takes refuge in "atheism". Too terrified to think freely and independently. Terrified by concepts like judgement and hell fire. Seeks comfort in camaraderie of other refugee "atheists". Accepts any idea that shelters him from his terror of god and hell fire. In front of theists, bares teeth and barks like a dog to hide fear. Needs frequent therapy sessions questioning religious texts, and needs validation from theists in the form of "winning" arguments. Uses humour, anti-religious cartoons and rhetorical questions to try to drown out underlying terror and confusion.

Most atheists on Nairaland fall into this category.
turn it around and see the same thing goes to the religious mind too

A tissue paper should not complain of being used and dumped!!!! That's what tissue papers are made for! A.k.a Toilet paper. I'm glad you've realised there's more to life than partying and having 'mad' fun! You've learnt your lessons albeit the hard way but you came out alive!!! So many others didn't and so much more who are still in it won't! If it hadn't happened that's way you may still be in it! That experience was your turning point! (I had mine too) No runs girl will read your story and deviate from that life, they too will have to have their own experience before their eyes are opened to the ills of "RUNS" the lucky ones like you and I will live to tell the story... The unlucky ones like Cynthia won't!! And sadly their stories would have been the bestsellers only if we could have them tell it themselves. May God Almighty have mercy on us all including the married men who allowed us into their lives!

How did it now turn into *Nigerians In Ghana Control Over 50% Real Estate Investments* huh Where is the sense therehuhwhat an insult! Its even an insult to me that knows about these real estate projects! The real estate sector has been vibrant over the year! And has seen a lot of ghanaian developers springing up building projects worth billions of dollars! The strongest foreigners in the market are the italians and lebanese, nigerians are mainly in the end side buying properties...so where from all this crap! This is true. I guess a lot of new Generation Ghanaians are oblivious to Ghana must go. We were never taught or informed much about this issue. Firsr time i learnt about it was actually on Nairaland. However what I kinda find a bit disturbing is how someone can name a bag Ghana must go and till today is still be referred too as such. But hey different strokes for different folks
you are right you know! The ghana must go tag still goes on in nigeria cos they have done little to create a morally sound environment, and they do the same internally amongst the tribal lines. Its just pathetic. Now some youths that have no idea about ghana has just been conditioned to hate for no reason. See how free nigerians are in ghana. They eve feel free to do things they could not do back home

Why would hear Nigeria must go. Both Ghana and Nigeria have learned their lessons from the past.
the only ghanaians that know about ghana must go are the ones that were around that deportation era, those that lived in nigeria.. The common man sees it as a bag.. And that's one of the least things to use to find fault in a nigerian..

I think I brought up a similar question with my parents when I was around 8 years old.

Basically, I was concerned about the fate of my ancestors: if Christianity is a prerequisite for reaching heaven, then there is no way my pagan ancestors could have possibly made heaven. Which to me at the time seemed unjust and unfair, since they had no exposure to the religion.

So either:
1) God is unjust, and sent almost all West Africans, Southern Africans, Indians, Chinese, and Native Americans to hell before about 1500 AD or so.
2) or God judges people who've never been exposed to his Word by a different standard than those he uses for people who have been exposed. In other words, our pagan ancestors still could have made heaven despite not being Christians.

I'm inclined to believe #2.

Though of course both options above assume that you believe in the existence of the Abrahamic God, which not everyone does.
thumbs up and beautiful write up! You are honest and reasonable. And I will say the same.

Through research and study. Do you know that as earth humans we only see around 1% of what is around us? We can only see that tiny bit of matter which reflects llght. But 99% of matter in the universe does not reflect light, so we can't (ordinarily) see it. [b]There are many realms of existence.[\b]
