This is to say Rest in peace to Valentine Umeh, the youth corper that died on Feb 13th this year in bayelsa state.

Met him 2015 in UniAbuja where I was a 100level student and he in his final year. From the little I know about him, without showing the slightest bias to the dead, he was indeed a good guy.

Any day he came to my room in the hostel to charge his phone, he together with his right-hand guy, I.K, and Chinedu, who was my roommate(and was their coursemate ) would sit and chat quietly for hours till they left.

Throughout that year, he (or I.K) never had any issue with us. Sometime last year, I even met him in school when he came back for his clearance.

All of a sudden, I hear he's dead. This guy has slipped off the ladder of life, just before reaching out for his crown.

Oh, his parents. What pain!
Life is so so not fair.

As a christian, I believe that Jesus Christ will come again. The bone of contention is as to whether Christ will come literarily in Chariots and clouds, as depicted in the Book of Revelations. Even if he does, will there be a date for this event? And will this date be the same for all and sundry?

Examining Our Lord's explanations, where he said that two people will be together, one will be taken carefully, I have come to a conclusion that "The 2nd Coming", for anybody, is when the person dies.

No wonder many atimes, no one sees his death coming, and this fact is just in accordance with the "Behold I am coming as a thief, at an hour you do not expect" theory (Revelation 16:15).

Anyway, this is just an opinion from me, if I'm wrong, please point it out

The way some people criticise others it's alarming even Christ ever did that all through His stay on earth. We are so quick to judge things we know nothing about. If you don't attend the church why not allow those who do educate us on things they do. I'm not leaving where I worship for any other place, but at least I would want to learn.
