Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has approved with immediate effect the payment of outstanding salaries to the state civil servants and teachers under the payroll of the state government. The State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr. Toye Arulogun disclosed in a statement made available to Insideoyo.com on Monday. He said the payment approved by Governor Ajimobi will cover the salaries of September and October 2018 which are outstanding in the state. Arulogun restated that the State Government is committed to the well-being and welfare of the people of the state, noting that the payment is an indication of Governor Ajimobi’s steadfast commitment to the welfare of the workforce in the state. Commissioner noted that Governor Ajimobi is passionate about the welfare of the workers in the state, pledging that the governor is putting machinery in motion to ensure that workers in the state get their salary on or before 25th of every month. “Before the economic meltdown, the Senator Ajimobi administration used to pay on or before the 25th of every month. During this period, workers in the state also received a 300% increase in salaries between 2011 and 2015 as well as 13th month salaries for three years consecutively. There is no doubt that this administration is strongly committed to the welfare of the people and efforts are being put in place to ensure that salaries are no longer owed” Arulogun said. He charged workers in the state to be diligent, dedicated, devoted, committed and work assiduously towards ensuring financial sufficiency for the state, stating that it is through the Ajumose spirit of collective responsibility of all stakeholders that the financial reengineering being embarked upon by the State Government can be achieved. It will be recalled that Oyo State government was owing up to seven months salary in 2016 and the government promised to clear the backlog in due course http://niggasloaded.com.ng/blog/ajimobi-approves-payment-of-all-outstanding-salaries/

Two things are growing fast in Osun state of Nigeria. The first being politics, while the other, probability. At the coming state election, the question ofhfate would be resoluted, however, the fact remains election, a process of voting an old trick or a new dog, after going through an expiration of a concluding tenure cannot be swept under the carpet.Interest has to be checked to compare chances of the elected. Politics being at half price of interest is flighty in the modern Osun state of Nigeria where its citizens get emboldened by the cost of decision and discrete of opinions. On the scale, politicians present themselves combative in the process of showing likenes, and sense of purpose and the others, vested with brittle or firm knowledge of political drive and management of authority, also push the queue with shift of belonging. With the avoidance of breakdown, as interesting politics, power and people can be, what contrastive “epoch-making” is grounded in dispensing political hywl. Would history write in it context a person or the party? At which point would propiety be applied on congent pivot of friction? And what are the dangers of perception? I was birthed in Iwo of Osun state, a settlement which is now topped rank of the cities in the south western region of the country. My frequent visitation to the town had not only casted multi-functional reasons why for birth sake, and also democratic multiculturalism, the slogan ” Land Of Virtue” must be adhered. In that, while over three millions inhabitants of Osun state of Nigeria awaits September 22, 2018, when a masterstroke of the people’s interest would be considered, once in a four years, enough mass of lyric had been composed with people left to play the chorus. Ahead of log-rolling, when people would occupy the pollen unit and exercise franchise, was the Independent National Electoral commission, assuring a credible election far from bribery and corruption, rigging and related offences. It is hardly believable if the occurrence during the Ekiti state gubernatorial election in 2018 would not pave it way in Osun state as ensured by INEC. A costly moment when people are easily tossed with two kilograms of golden penny wheat, needless ransom of money, promises unkempt and flexibly decisive. In the contrast, the Nigeria Police Force aptly demonstrated a portion of providing a secured electoral process in the presence of forty thousand police officers, eight commissioners, two helicopters, thirty each of an armoured personal carrier vans and patrol vehicles. Be that at it may, grounded preparation is yet on desk as it certainty is until when Osun inhabitants troop out on the election day to ascribe answers to who would take up the task. Despite increase in the frequency of the people’s opinion and oscillitated turn out of the people during the campaign go-a-fishing, what seems particularly about the absent- mindedness of the people is to pointedly juxtapose on the fair best of the gubernatorial candidates among who had practically exercised sustainable development, got a theoretical means of attending issues of mixed and diversified economy. In advance, do not pray a dog eat dog, until then when a curate’s egg is counted, let the cursive letters in the people’s power, belonging to the poor and the rich be exercised intellectually and concerted efforts of jurisdiction be streamlined. Remember the unfinished trial of the lawmaker, Timothy Owoeye, found in the open market taking a shower, is such which alongside unfeigned exploration, must be penalized. And as the wave storms, it is not wrong watching the watcher. Aduwo Ayodele Gabriel is a journalist, writer and a content developer. The Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ court sitting at Ibadan on Wednesday ordered the remand of one Oyebisi Ilaka, 57, and his bodyguard, Temitayo Alamiyo, 45, at Agodi Federal Prison for allegedly causing the death of three persons. The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the first defendant, Ilaka, is a Senatorial aspirant in Oyo Central under the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 general elections. The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Jejelola Ogunbona, ordered the remand of the duo when the proof of evidence was submitted to the court. Mr Abiodun Abdulraheem, the Counsel to the defendants, urged the court to grant his client bail as the first defendant has a medical history of hypertension. Ogunbona ordered that the defendants be remanded at Agodi Prison pending the outcome of the case file from the Oyo State Directorate of Public Prosecution. “The first defendant, Ilaka, should be given free access to see a doctor while in prison for the sake of his hypertension according to his lawyer’s plea,” Ogunbona directed. She adjourned the case until September 18 for mention. Ilaka and Alamiyo were in court on five counts of conspiracy, causing death, attempt to kill, conspiracy with one another and unlawful possession of pump action rifle. The Police Prosecutor, Mr Matthew Ojeah, had told the court that Ilaka and Alamiyo allegedly conspired to commit felony and attempted murder. Ojeah said that Alamiyo, on September 8, attempted to cause the death of Toheeb Olanrewaju, 20, Modinat Adeyemi, 55, and Tijani Lateef, 35, by shooting them with pump action gun. “Alamiyo was alleged to have also unlawfully attempted to kill one Isiaka Afolabi, 47, by shooting him with pump action gun in the right eye and unlawful possession of pump action rifle,”said Ojeah. http://www.247gistreal.com.ng/2018/09/alleged-murder-oyo-senatorial-aspirant.html?m=1

The People’s Democratic Party, Osun State Chapter held her gubernatorial primaries at the G.M.T Hotel, Osogbo yesterday which was well attended by party loyalists, delegates and members of PDP across the nooks and crannies of Osun State. Party chieftains, ward executives and local government party leaders graced the occasion as party delegates gathered to pick their choice of candidate to bear the flag bearer of the party at the September 22, 2018 gubernatorial election in the state of Osun. It was reliably gathered that three candidates participated in the primary after Hon. Adejare Bello stepped down in the early hours of the Primary based on advice and appeal by party leaders. Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, Senator Ademola Adeleke and Alhaji Fatai Akinade Akinbade were only candidates who participated in the PDP primaries after other candidates have stepped down for peace to reign in the party as reasonable gathered. OLUWOLE OKE, SOJI ADAGUNODO AND DIRAN ODEYEMI were the lead major factors supporting Akin Ogunbiyi and they were determined to ensure that Akin Ogunbiyi emerge. One of our reporters at the venue of party primaries reportedly stated that the primary election was going on smoothly until suspicious moves started towards the end of the primary election. According to reports from a party leader and observer who prefers to remain anonymous stated that Adeleke supporters stormed the venue of the primary election and caused great disturbance as they noticed attempt manipulation of the election results in favour of Akin Ogunbiyi. In reactions to this act, it was reported by our reporter who witnessed and covered the party primary that party delegates started shouting Ole(Thief), Wobia, Oleeeee at the party’s chairman, Olusoji Adagunodo, Diran Odeyemi and Oluwole Oke. They were saved from the actions of these aggrieved party delegates by uniform policemen attached to them as party delegates moved harshly towards their vehicles to take their pound of flesh. Further investigation revealed that members of the party were disappointed in the leaders of the party. An old Partyman delegate who said that he is from Ifelodun said “Soji Adagunodo disappointed us. We thought that he’s God-fearing and respects the party and her members but we never knew that he’s just a deceiver and fake person” while another party delegate from Obokun said that “I am not surprised at all. If you’re from Obokun, you will know that Oluwole Oke is not a dependable person. He is from my local government and I know that he is desperate and selfish. http://www.247gistreal.com.ng/2018/07/oluwole-oke-soji-adagunodo-and-diran.html?m=1 |
By: Comr Daniel Oyeyinka Ajala aka Mr Constituted Authority Students across various institutions of higher learning in Nigeria are constantly faced with industrial action, either by the AASU or COEASU of various institutions. Most of these strike actions are caused by disagreement between the government and the unions of various institutions, arising from non-implementation or partial implementation of former agreements reached. The disagreement or lack of understanding between government and academic community often result in deadlock that usually disrupts academic calendar. As the saying goes, when two elephants fights, it is the grass that suffers it. The grass, in this case is the students who bear the brunt of the disagreement. Incessant strikes dwindle the academic performances of students. As learning is suspended for a long period, the students reading abilities fall. Even the knowledge acquired during the learning period is even forgotten by some students. This mostly turns some students into certificate seekers than knowledge seekers. Also, most protracted strikes distort the school calendar. The after-effect is prolonged school year that exceeds stipulated periods. Most academic activities for the school year are distorted. This is one major cause of producing unqualified graduates who are deficient in their fields of study. In the same vein, students who are supposed to do a four year course end up spending six years in the school for a simple programme. Such strike periods also have the tendency of leading undergraduates into some social vices like prostitution, oil bunkering etc. “An idle man” they say, “is the devils workshop.” There is therefore, the need for a re-evaluation of the education sector. Factors that often lead to strike in our institutions should be addressed. There is no doubt that the infrastructures in most of our schools are as old as the years of the schools. This is unacceptable. A conducive learning atmostphere is a sine-qua-non for quality education. In addition, education should be properly and adequately funded to encourage effective research and to avoid brain drain. Proper funding and equipment of Nigerian universities will go a long way to stop further strike action. Meanwhile, government should always try to honour whatever agreement reached with the academic communities. Most protracted strikes can be averted if necessary steps are taken to build a good relationship between both parties. It is worth emphasizing that any government with a poor education system is heading towards a black future. At the same time, the various union in our institutions of higher learning should device other means other than strike to resolve aggrieved issues. Strike action be the last resort. This is because of the negative effect frequent strikes have on students and the entire academic community. Any government that does not encourage education of its youth is directly compromising the future of the nation. Such government is not worth living. President Muammadu Buhari on Tuesday hosted members of the Diplomatic Corp on this year’s Iftar in commemoration of Holy Ramadan. Buhari received them at the presidential villa in Abuja. In his address, the nation’s leader conveyed Nigeria’s appreciation to the envoys for their support and peaceful co-existence. He said this had contributed in no small measure to deepening the bonds of friendship and the subsisting cordial relations that existed between Nigeria and their countries. Buhari added: “You may recall the efforts of the Government in tackling the problem of insecurity since the inception of this administration in May 2015. The Government made every effort to contain the Boko Haram insurgency which bedevilled the country. “I am happy to note that, at the moment, the Boko Haram insurgents have been degraded and normalcy gradually restored in the affected areas as we embarked on the task of rehabilitation and reintegration of the affected communities. “Let me assure you that Government is making every effort to bring the issue of insurgence to a complete end. We will continue to collaborate with our neighbours under the multilateral Joint Task Force to curtail the movement and operations of terrorist across our borders. “With peace comes development. As you are aware, this administration has taken bold initiatives to reposition the Nigerian economy on the path of sustainable growth and development. “In the preceding years, Nigeria has continued to witness political stability and economic prosperity as acknowledged by World Bank 2017 economic rating on Ease of Doing Business Index for 2018. “I wish to assure Your Excellencies that we remain committed to creating enabling environment to attract Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) and boost private sector engagements between Nigeria and your respective countries. “Your Excellencies, corruption is the single biggest menace to Africa’s development. As I mentioned in my inaugural speech; if we do not kill corruption, corruption will kill us. Corruption undermines development and impedes democracy and the rule of law. “During the 30th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa held in January this year, the AU launched the theme for the year 2018 winning the fight against Corruption: a sustainable path for Africa’s Transformation and endorsed me as the AU Champion for the year. “We shall count on your support to tackle corruption headlong, in order to bring about development, prosperity and well-being of our people. “Let me conclude once again by reiterating our commitment towards peace, security and development under the auspices of ECOWAS, the Africa Union and the United Nations as a core pillar in our foreign policy exertion.” http://www.247gistreal.com.ng/2018/06/what-buhari-told-ambassadors-in-aso-rock.html?m=1 |

Drumming is a vital part of the cultural heritage of we the Yoruba people of Southwestern Nigeria. Drums are used in special occasions, festivals, carnivals, ceremonies. They even add special effects and style to some bits of our culture. Drums are differentiated by the sound they make, how they are made, history, and appearance. For Yoruba people, ceremonies dictate the kind of drums to use. Here is a look at some of these important drums. 1. Gangan/ Dundun (Talking Drum): Important Drums Of The Yoruba People Gangan is also known as ‘Talking drums’ . It holds a special place in the tradition of the Yoruba people, and its use in Yoruba folklore cannot be overemphasized. Its origin can be traced to the Old Oyo Empire in South-West, Nigeria. It was introduced as a means of communication during inauguration of the Alaafin of Oyo. Talking Drums are used to imitate different tone and chant patterns of the Yoruba language. Its hourglass shape makes it possible for it to be held under the arm. It is made of adjustable cords. This cords can determine the pitch of the drum. If the cords and strings are pulled hard, the sound or tone from the drum would increase and if the chords are softly squeezed, the sound will be low. They are frequently used in modern churches, festivals, wedding ceremonies and carnivals. 2. Bata: Important Drums Of The Yoruba People Bata is another important drum used by the Yoruba people, a double-headed drum shaped like an hourglass with one cone larger than the other. It’s used majorly in religious functions, festivals, carnivals and coronations. It’s also used to convey messages of hope, divination, praise and war. A set of batá consists of three drums of different sizes. The drums are similar in shape to an hourglass and each drum has two different sized heads. The batá are played sitting down with the drum placed horizontally on the knees. This allows the drummer to play with both hands. The Iyá (“Mother”) is the largest drum and leads the group, playing long, complex patterns with many variations and initiates conversations with the other two drums. Iyá are often adorned with a garland of bells and bronze caps called “Chaworo” which enrich the vibrations and the timbre when the drummer plays the instrument. The Itótele is the middle-sized drum, playing long, but less complex patterns with some variations as well as answering and occasionally initiating conversations. The Okónkolo is the smallest of the three playing short, simple patterns with occasional conversations and variations. The Bata drum has different parts which include; “Igi Ilu”(wooden frame work), leather, “Egi ilu”(thick brooms for support), “Osan”(wire work), “Iro”(black substance placed on the drum surface), “Bulala”(drumstick made from leather), and cowries. 3. Omele ako: Important Drums Of The Yoruba People Fondly called ‘Omele’, it is known as the “Sakara”drum. It is a shallow drum with a circular body made with baked clay. Goat skin is used in making the heads of the drum while spaced pegs around its body are used for tuning. They are used during wedding ceremonies, traditional coronations and festivals. 4. Gbedu/ Ogido: Important Drums Of The Yoruba People Gbedu literally means “a big drum” is a percussion instrument traditionally used on state occasions or during ceremonies of Ogoni, the ancient Yoruba secret society. The Gbedu drum is said to have been brought to the Lagos area in the seventeenth century by Edo diplomats, symbolizing the hegemony of the Benin Empire Among the Yoruba, the Gbedu drum signifies royalty. It is covered in carvings representing an image of a goddess, animals and birds. They are played by drummers using both their palms and drumsticks. It signifies royalty in the Yoruba land. In ceremonies such as the “Isagun rites”, the Oba might dance to the music from the drum and no one else is allowed to do the same. 5. Ashiko: Important Drums Of The Yoruba People Another important musical instrument among the Yoruba people, Ashiko is a tapered cylindrical shaped drum with its head on the wide end and its narrow end open. It’s usually made with hardwood and goatskin hide, played with the hands and tuned by ropes. They are mostly used in festivals and community celebrations. 6. Saworoide: Important Drums Of The Yoruba People Saworoide also known as “Saworo”is a type of talking drum decorated with brass bells and chimes. Such bells are attached to leather straps for support. The epilepsy in the system of this nation calls for a titanic cry, it is germane to weep for the hellish display of our health sector or what then shall we say when those who we look up to as ambassadors become the murderer of the people. A sector established to save lifes has change the motive of her establishment. The government in her structure is disintegrated to hold place to setter. . Apparently, many lifes has been in comatosed, some been ruined are owed to the insouciant custom of the shameless health sector, attitude elicited by this sector daily aggravated into jeopardy affecting Nigeria citizens in it's entirety. . I am appalled about my first experience when I followed an ill brother of mine to a Nigeria renowned hospital for treatment, my expectation could not be well knitted as what I met was an open-sore or an avoidable disdain. I had expected a first aid treatment to save his life before the proper medication. To my surprise the treatment of the dying patient was not their priority, they demanded for a huge fee when much as evident is spent on the health sector annually. In the face of this I was left with the rethorics of: Should this (money) be priority over treatment? And why is it that our medical practitioner are not compassionate? . Evidently, the plight we are tackling with in the health sector eventuate from the fraternal Chief executive officer of this nation, which is "corruption". Medical practitioners disgracefully ride on the track of corruption as corruption is not stealing from public fund and loans but inability to be responsive, useful and reproductive. . One major reason for this is the bad education of specialist leading to the retrogressive position of this sector. Many cosmetic personnel are not competent and qualified to be accorded with medical degrees, most of which did not did the cognitive aspect of medication to affect lives. The set of people who spent the larger days of their universities reading the antidote or antibiotics of the health service. Quacks on professional title who can't address the ill condition of the health industry. Do we really expect salubrious treatment from quacks? Those who cannot stand for their profession and rally round a progressing for her own people. Nigerian education only provides us with celebrity like professor Isaac Adewole, who can spend their age acquiring books and not recommendable ideas. It can't be disputed if the country is rated in a least list, suggestions like question should only be asked. Suffocating questions like why do Botany, Science Laboratory Technology, Nutrition and Dieterary, etc live in our institutions. . Ill - trained doctors and nurses had gone ride and ubiquitous in this sector, this problem also eventuated from poor education because doctors does not has the real experience of what they should put into practice in the world of work. Nurses are also intrinsic for every sane clinic. They play the crucial roles of staying the patients 22hours of a day, reports are submitted to doctors on the development and how the patients has been responding to treatment. Why some are actively dedicated, some nurses are not staunch in rendering their service, situation occurs when one found nurses sleeping on duty in their receptioning quarter. Nurses are not only meant to the stretcher-bearer but also closer to the needy as some in-depth knowledge on prescription of medicine and other related register are potent to be implored to the mode of their work. . It's a pity that most of the health architecture are not mosquito free, coming from home patients aiming to get a sound and healthy treatment from a serene environment, while some thrive, many local hospital stinks in abject backwardness. . Apparently, the nadir quota given to health sector from the Nigeria budget is not encouraging, 7% is annually allocated to nurture the health sector. There seems to be null credibility in this. Nigerian government budget millions of money to fight insurgencies, vandalism, kidnapping and other breaking crisis. If at all we want a progressing nation why do we allow public education and public health retrogress, shrink and sink in the face of struggle brag. Nigerian leaders cannot vouch of the health service they render. They always assume that their ailment cannot be treated in their own country, they are desirous of flying abroad for solution to their health problem. What is the essence of having UCH (University College Hospital) when our leaders are also dreadful of getting their treatment here. Let's recall that during the illness of Late Nelson Mandela, he was treated in his own country and not flown abroad. Until we countermand the normal route of getting treatment in overseas. Then the improvement we desirous to have will surface. Lastly, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director General said and I quote "Health is human right. No one should get sick and die just because they are poor, or because they cannot access the health services they need". Free health care is our right, the impoverish are not to die only because they have no penny to treat themselves, the aged, kids and widows must be given special consideration, revive their hope. If we fully intend to change the heartrending status of the health sector, Nigeria at all level of government needs to earmark more resources for the ailing health sector of the country. A stitch in time save nine! Source :- www.247gistreal.com.ng/2018/05/nigeria-health-sector-disdainful.html?m=1 |
It might be difficult to know a woman who will be good in bed unless you actually take her to bed. But if you would rather not risk taking home a woman that will turn out to be not-so-great. We present to you five personality types that translate into a fantastic time in bed. 1. The Funny Woman For some curious reason, funny people are usually better in bed. Sure, there might be scientific study to back this up, but most men who have gone with the gal with the amazing sense of humour usually report back to say they have the best time. This is probably because funny women are unlikely to take things too seriously. They make sure to have fun in the bedroom and this can be a very attractive trait. 2. The Experienced Woman A lot of men run from the ‘experienced’ or the ‘slutty’ woman because they worry about their reputations but if you have not bedded one, you are missing out. An experienced girl not only know what she is doing, she also knows what to do to please you. She is very likely to show you things you probably have never experienced. 3. The Outspoken Woman Women who are never shy about expressing themselves usually turn out to be great Sex partners. Why? Because if they are unafraid to say what’s on their mind outside, then they are very likely to be straight with you in the bedroom too. They tell you exactly what turns them on and expect the same from you. No time for being coy or embarrassed. They are after their orgasm and yours so those are their main focus. 4. The Filthy Woman You know that woman who always seem to have dirt in her mind. She says nasty things and talks like a pro. Most men believe women like these are probably just pretending. But you know how people are, we only say what our mind is filled with. So, take her home today, you are more likely to be pleased. 5. The Curious Woman Is she always interested in trying new things? Does she jump at the chance to try a new meal, try her hands in new ventures or gets easily bored of things? This is one woman you should bed. Often times, the best sex partners are those who are willing to step out of their comfort zones. They want to try new positions and have sex in new ways. She will give you a thrill. It’s absolutely refreshing Gulping water after you wake up in the morning is absolutely refreshing and makes you feel good. 7. Get rid of unusable toxins Water can assist in flushing toxins (a toxin is anything that damages the body) out of your body. The Catholic Bishop of Osogbo Diocese, Most Reverend John Akin Oyeloja ,has slammed Governor Rauf Aregbesola for lack of transparency on the fiscal responsibility of the state. Oyeloja said the process and procedure of development plan of the state and the annual budget are neither transparent, nor inclusive and people-oriented. The Bishop made this known during a press conference in Osogbo to mark this year’s World Communication Day. The cleric added that the policies of the government that are shrouded in secrecy continue to mar the credibility of several projects the government have embarked upon. “We appreciate the government for it’s several infrastructural drive, especially in the area of road construction and control of erosion, however, we would like to say that noble as this would have been, the lack of transparency in the procedure by which all of these are undertaken continue to mar their credibility. “Recently, specifically in April, the office of the Auditor-General of the state embarked a public presentation of the 2017 audit report of the state. While this on its own is fundamental to democracy, the process leading to it gives the impression that it was only staged in order to paint a colourful image of the government of the day. “For instance, the document was made available to the invited participants to study ahead of the forum and no one outside the government has had access to the signed 2017 state budget, how then are they to evaluate the credibility of the state audit? “We appeal to the government to quit such public show and take the welfare of the state as a sacred duty”, he said. The Bishop, however, identified the media as indispensable partner in the quest of making the society just and habitable. He described the fourth estate of the realm as projector and moderator of fundamental values that regulate human existence. “The media from time immemorial has remained a major stakeholder in the affairs of human society. The media serves as the projector, moderator and protector of the fundamental values which all human beings who make up a society have agreed upon as the regulating principles of their common existence as a social entity. “Simply put, those of you before me serve as watchdog of our social contract as a people both at the state and national level. The Catholic Church has always regarded your duty as having a prophetic dimension which makes you responsible not only to the citizenry but to God. “The Catholic Church continues to challenge and support the media to preserve itself from the influences that the very negative forces it exists to combat can have on it. Too often in Nigeria and even here in our state, the press has allowed itself to be used as instrument in the promotion of objectives which are not just unrelated to common good but threaten it. “We consider that a failure on the part of media and continue to challenge various media outlets to develop sound self- monitoring and evaluation mechanism to preserve its integrity and usefulness for the good of our society”. The Senate President, Bukola Saraki on Tuesday disclosed that a report detailing the circumstances surrounding the April 18 incident when thugs invaded the Senate chamber and made away with the mace was ready for consideration by the Ethics committee of the Senate. Speaking while commenting on a point of order raised by Tijjani Kaura (Zamfara- APC), he said, “Distinguished colleagues, you’ll remember that following the incidence of invasion of the senate, one of the decisions that was taken then was that the management must do a report to find out the roles that were played by all the members and what led to the invasion. “The report has been ready and submitted. I think that report should go to the committee on ethics for them to review it and make their recommendation to us,” the Senate President said. Kaura had called the attention of the senate to recent killings and kidnappings in his constituency, urging the senate to look into the matter. Saraki said the appearance of the Inspector-General of Police on Wednesday will suffice to address security issues in Zamfara and other parts of Nigeria. “Again it is unfortunate of the incident in Zamfara. Which is of a daily basis. It is of great concern to us. We at the National Assembly, we must play our role to see what we can do to tackle this insecurity issue. It is unfortunate as we said last time we expected the IG here, we have given him again till Wednesday to come here so that we can truly engage and address these problems we are facing today in the country. “We saw what happened in Kaduna State some days ago and now it is Zamfara. We will do our best despite the level of lack of cooperation but we must play our role and I can assure you that we would do something to bring a change and make this country more secure,” he said. 1. Her friends know about you It’s a pretty big thing for a girl to tell her closest friends about the guy she is “sort of seeing”. Not only does it mean you are worth talking about but it also shows that she sees you in her future, even if it isn’t always the most positive of talk, at least you are on the radar. 2. Body language Unlike men, women love to show affection through physical contact. From a hand graze to making sure she is right next to you in social situations, a girl who likes you will do everything in her power to make contact even if it’s sometime inappropriate. While she might have guy friends that she high fives or slaps on the back, with you she’ll hold hands, cuddle and caress. 3. She’s protective She doesn’t want to see you flirting with other girls so she’ll try her best to make sure other girls know exactly who she is to you. A girl who doesn’t care if you spend hours flirting with another girl isn’t really that into you, people are naturally jealous so if she doesn’t mind you flirting then she probably doesn’t like you. 4. She puts in effort with your friends and family You know a girl is really into you when she goes out of her way to include your friends and family. Even if she doesn’t hang out with your friends 24/7, if she is showing an interest in your friends and seems curious enough to ask questions about the people closest to you, she definitely likes you! 5. She’s flirtatious If you happen to notice that the girl you’re seeing seems to play with her hair, lick her lips and giggle at just about everything you’re saying, it should be fairly obvious to you that she’s flirting with you. While some girls flirt with guys to get a free drink or two, chances are if your girl is flirting with you that she likes you. 6.==> https://247gistreal..co.ke/2018/05/10-signs-girl-likes-you.html?m=1 |
1. Go Spicy I love spicy foods, and they’ve proven to be great for health and weight loss. Thanks to the capsaicin and the antioxidants in spicy foods, they’ll increase your internal temperature and boost your circulation. They even release endorphins to make you feel better. 2. Drink Tea Coffee stresses your adrenal glands and it really isn’t all that great for you. Good quality green tea gives you a milder kick, but it lasts a lot longer than coffee – and it’s less irritating for your nervous system. Bonus: It speeds up your metabolism and burns fat. 3. Use Menthol Muscles feeling sore, or your head giving you problems? Rub a bit of menthol cream (such as Tiger Balm or Vicks VapoRub) into your achy parts, and you’ll feel so much better! 4. Add Ginger Liberally This is one of my favorite ingredients, and it makes for one of the best daily health tips too! Strong ginger tea kills sore throats, eliminates congestion, and it will give you the kick you need to wake up when you’re tired. 5. Change Your Sneaks That old pair of shoes is probably worn out, and you’d be amazed by how great you’ll feel when you get a new pair of shoes. The added cushioning will be wonderful for your feet, and you’ll have lots more energy when you walk or run. https://247gistreal..co.ke/2018/05/20-quick-daily-health-tips-part-1.html?m=1 6. Do Puzzles I love puzzles, and they help to keep my mind sharp. I do my puzzles as a break in my work day, and it helps to relax me while keeping both my hands and brain occupied. Why are they so great? Doing puzzles and other mental-oriented activities will stave off Alzheimer’s and keep you sharp for years to come. 7. Sniff an Apple I have actually tried this one, and it works! If you’re hungry, get a healthy apple and hold it up to your nose. Take a dozen or so deep breaths, and get back to work. Your hunger pangs will be gone! 8. Chew Gum Sugarless gum is a major part of my day, as it helps me to focus on what I’m doing. It’s low in sugar and calories, and it keeps my mind zeroed in on my writing. As a bonus, it keeps me from getting hungry too! 9. Drop a Yolk Want a quick snack to carry you over until lunch time? Cook up one full free range egg and one egg white, saving the other yolk for cooking or baking. The egg/egg white combo will give you fewer than 100 calories, but it will be a tasty treat to keep you from being hungry. 10. Stretch Bored while watching TV? Sit on your living room floor and do some stretches. You’ll find that working your body will help your mind focus on what you’re doing, and occupying your mind will help you to stretch without cringing at the pain of trying to do the splits or a back-bend. ==> https://247gistreal..co.ke/2018/05/20-quick-daily-health-tips-part-1.html?m=1 |
1. All girls poop. Let’s start out with the obvious: EVERYBODY POOPS. Considering females fall under the category of “everybody,” this constitutes that we — yes, we — poop. Duh. And we like it. *Poops* *Checks stomach in mirror to see how much flatter it got* 2. Girls hate shaving too. If we’re wearing pants we probably didn’t shave last night. Or the night before. But most likely all of last week. Too lazy to shave our armpits? Shirt with sleeves it is. No Shave November? Me too. 3. We pick our noses too. And regularly, I might add. Lots of times it’ll happen while driving. If I have a booger and no tissues, I’m not going to wait until I can find a tissue — that’s just weird. 4. We barely wash our bras. We’ve worn the same bra for…an undetermined, yet very very long amount of time. And here’s our logic: I didn’t sweat today, so there’s no need to wear a different bra tomorrow. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. The limit does not exist. Source:- https://247gistreal..co.ke/2018/05/9-gross-things-all-girls-do-but-love-to.html?m=1 5. Our periods bring out the DIY in us. We’ve been forced to use rolled-up toilet paper upon discovering that our period just started. Extra gross points for those who go the whole day like this due to being busy/in class/ working. Admit it — you’ve done it. 6. We pee in the shower. Gross, or just another way to conserve water? You be the judge. 7. We bleed on our underwear. There are just too many period-related truths about girls, and this particular one simply can’t be left out. We bleed on our underwear. A lot. And then we’ll rinse out our underwear in the sink. We will then leave said underwear in sink whilst going about our day. Then we forget underwear is in sink and subsequently horrify a visitor that goes to wash their hands. Typically we don’t learn our lesson, and this will happen about seven more times. 8. We go extended periods of time without washing our hair. Our hygiene is questionable at times. We can go four days without washing hair and validate it by using dry shampoo. No time to shower? Wash off armpits and apply a thick layer of perfume all over body. No time to wash face? Too LAZY to wash face? No problem! Re-apply new makeup OVER yesterday’s crusty makeup. 9. We go commando. Okay, not ALL girls do this, and certainly not all of the time. Sometimes it’s an accident and you have to roll with it, and sometimes it’s completely voluntary. My current situation describes the latter. Source:- https://247gistreal..co.ke/2018/05/21-weird-things-men-dont-know-about.html?m=1 1. One breast is always larger than the other. It’s usually a small enough difference to not be noticeable. But no woman has equal-sized breasts. 2. According to some scientific research, the attractiveness of a woman’s child is heavily dependent on what she eats during pregnancy. (So don’t use pregnancy as an excuse to eat whatever you want ladies!) 3. The part of the brain that shows arousal during sex also shows a similar arousal in some women while they’re thinking about food. Especially when they have food cravings. 4. Contrary to popular belief women may experience multiple orgasms, while men always need time between orgasms. 5. Some women are born with two uteruses or two vaginas. It may not be easily noticeable at first but if weird menstrual cycles or excessive bleeding occurs it may be a sign. 6. If you’re wondering why your girlfriend always brings things up from the past, it’s because women’s brains have been shown to have greater recall and memory than men’s. 7. Evolutionary biologists claim that it is natural for women to seek men because of attractiveness and resources. (While men mostly seek youth and attractiveness.) 8. You might know that women live longer than men, on average. But do you know why? Some studies suggest that women are generally more likely to lead a healthier lifestyle. But there have also been studies suggesting that women’s bodies are naturally better at fighting disease. And some even suggest this is especially true for women who have been child bearers. 9. A man who smells good is perceived as more attractive by women. Something about our hormones kicking in, and our senses going crazy over it. 10. Women more easily trust a person who hugs them for more than 15 seconds. You can’t make this stuff up but does anybody else think that is an extra long time for a hug? 11→:- https://247gistreal..co.ke/2018/05/21-weird-things-men-dont-know-about.html?m=1 |
Lemme repharse a litle bit. Would you believe if i told you tomatoes is a citrus fruit?? Tomatoes is a red citrus fruit which is mistaken to be a vegetable. This fruit is found anywhere around the world and is used to prepare dish such as stew, jellof rice, salad, add to indomie to make it palatable. I know that being alone isn’t the same thing as being lonely, and yet some people use the two terms interchangeably. Here are a few of the differences between someone who’s alone vs. someone who’s lonely: 1. Lonely singles don’t like being on their own. This is the most obvious difference between being lonely versus being alone. Lonely people aren’t happy with their relationship status, and they want to change their situation. Maybe they’re single and miss the intimacy of having someone waiting for them to come home. Maybe they’re in a relationship and yet feel emotionally disconnected from their partner. Being lonely is a state of mind. You can feel lonely even when you’re surrounded by people. If you find yourself feeling isolated and miserable more often than not, you can overcome your loneliness by taking proactive steps to change your thinking patterns and make an effort to engage with people. 2. Singles who are alone know how to enjoy “me time.” Being alone isn’t a feeling, it isn’t a problem, and it isn’t a malady. It’s just being alone. Singles who are alone don’t feel like they’re missing out on anything because they’re by themselves. In fact,.that time alone could be their favorite part.of the day. Some singles look forward to those quiet moments when they can take a break from life’s obligations and make time for themselves. When you’re alone, you can focus on your needs, practice good self- care, and improve your overall well-being. 3. Being lonely can make people feel tired and down. Feelings of loneliness can wear on a person over time. It’s like you’re carrying a weight around with you. Lonely singles tend to focus on the one thing they’re lacking (a romantic relationship) rather than focus on everything they have. They often struggle with insecurities and fears that they’re not enough. That can be exhausting. However, if you embrace your single status, you could find health and mental benefits to being on your own. 4. Some people feel energized after spending time alone. → https://247gistreal..co.ke/2018/04/alone-vs-lonely-6-differences-every.html?m=1 |
