I shoot Nikon. The Nikkor 50mm is about 130k here. The Yongnuo is 50k. That's why I asked. Thanks much. Would get the yongnuo first and see

I shoot Nikon too and I've used both lenses extensively. If you're using a Nikon D7xxx or D6xx or 8xx or D90 series, consider the Nikon 50mm f1.8D lens, which is almost the same price with the Yungnou but even better.

.
If you're using the D3xxx or D5xxx series, the Yungnou should do, considering budget.

Bro. Good day. I'm an upcoming photographer myself. I have a question, have you used the Yongnuo 50 mm lens? What do you think about it?

I have. it's a good lens, although the build quality is poor and wobbly. For a beginner, the lens would serve it's purpose pretty well before you outgrow it and decide to something else.
.
If you shoot Canon, then get the Canon 50mm f1.8. They're almost the same price.

I think most of us from the East don't do much work as it regards understanding the make up of the socalled North. I served with an Igede guy and we nearly fought one day I tried to tie him and Benue state to the core north and this happened at in the north. The middle belt is like the South South. Most ordinary folks there have their own views of things while the dominant political elite is a creation of the core north caliphate. The David Marks, Audu Ogbe and the Suswans.. the core north made them what they are today..

They elites parrot the One North mantra while the ordinary folks face the Fulani and his matchete in the rural areas. Idomas are not really northerners. But fighting with the fulanis during the war seem to have cemented their status as northerners in the minds of easterners. The Sarduana carried out a genocide against The Tivs in the 50s for their "insubordination". Essentially they are northerners today because its the core north that plays the piper politically at the moment.
God bless you. You have said more than enough but folks from the SE would still try to push a false narrative

The colonial masters realised they were more of Northerners than Southerners and carved them into Northern Nigeria

this assertion of yours is false. Take your time and read about the way of life of the Tivs and focus more on the Idomas and you'd realise where your error in assertion lies

I understand your concern. A brand new sealed PS4 slim 500gb (comes with a single pad, standard) is available.

However, please note that you can get pre-owned yet super clean PS4 slims for a cheaper price. Ensure you go for those whose warranty seal is still intact. This indicates such console has never been opened, hence never been repaired. I have such units also.

What you have to understand is that the PS4 slim and Pro are well-built gaming consoles with durability and very few technical flaws, unlike the PS4 fat or PS3 consoles.

Do your research.

I know of YLOD that plagues the PS3

This so true. One time I went to Alaba to install some games on my Xbox 360. I was shocked by what I saw. I even further to ask in order to be sure of what I saw and the dealer confirmed that they sell on Jumia-refurbished consoles of course.

It would lag every now and then, it won't be smooth but it would be manageable... You can download one and try it out, if you don't enjoy the gameplay then no need to download the other until you upgrade your device.
Sadly, I couldn't play it. the lag was just too much.
.
Please recommend a couple of others that you think this device can handle without lags.

It was actually a tactical move by Buhari to crippled Igboho by proxy and incarcerated kanu by himself.

Some Nigerians most especially our Eastern brothers and their 'Whataboutism'.

I've critically look at the posture of Gumi and it's no different from what Ohaneze, Fr.Mbaka, and one of the Anglican Bishops are doing or soliciting. They always tell us that Ipob terrorists are their sons & that the FG should pampered them, negotiate with them or let them be.

However the very day that Gumi decides to take up arms or incite certain people against the Nigeria state will be his undoing & he'll be duely pick up by the DSS.

WHY are supporting the biasness of this government? Ain't what is good for the goose equally good for the gander?
.
Gumi has mentioned several times how he visits bandits in the forest. Same bandits causing havock and engaging in indescriminate acts of terrorism in the north. Gumi who is an advocate of terrorism has never been questioned by this biased Government.

..
If Gumi has been meeting with the terrorists, then isn't it logical for the DSS to use his knowledge to launch a coordinated attack on the said terrorists?

Something is wrong with you. So because someone decided on her own to make you a sperm donor before she hits menopause, you're now forcing advising everyone to do the same thing. For what?

Why force someones view on others? That's thoughtless of you.

Every one is old enough to think and make decisions for themselves. We don't all have the same choice. It was your friends choice to do that. It may not be for others.

Sperm donor kor. Egg keeper ni.

He shared his opinion and his experience and then gave a sound counsel based on both.

Oil money will finish soon, I wonder where money will come from. They are in for some trouble in the coming years where there won’t be any money to maintain their infrastructures and lifestyles.
You people still don't understand northern politics. I prefer northern politics to everything I've ever seen in the South and MiddleBelt.

.
See how schools (tertiary education), transportation are in the north and compare it to the massive estortion going on in the public tertiary institution in the South.
In the South and MiddleBelt, everyone is a Prof and everyone wants to be a champ. See how Umahi and that Imo guy is selling out Igbos cheaply. Tell me, which northern politician would do that?
.
An average northern big man would do something tangible for his community. Doesn't matter how small. Borehole, culvert, streetlight, drainage system-things you hardly see in the South.

.
In the absence of oil money, the unity of the North would be a huge asset. If not for the insecurities and the religious factor ravaging the north, I'd prefer to live Kano than step foot in PH or even Abia

Kano has better road infrastructure because of very high federal allocation that they get.

That's one. Now talk about the looted oyel money the northern politicians are using to build Dubai standard houses, businesses and infrastructures.

I've been to Onitsha before and it's quite a beautiful city. Being a commercial city, the wuru-wuru was just too apparent.

So, today is the first day I'm watching Reno Omokri's video and I must say, he is too wise. We have a lot of principles in common.

The video came on my feed and I wanted to ignore it, but a spirit said, "C'mon, just check it out — it's just 20 minutes." I'm glad I did.

I just subscribed to his channel immediately. This is the kind of person I love to roll with.

Some of you can waste 50MB watching a 40 minute porn video, but will refuse to spend 25MB to watch a 20 minute video that'll change your life.

I've watched a couple of his videos. He only scratches the surface plus ending up creating a lot of vagueness. I've read a couple of your threads before, infact I just finished the one that touches on cryptocurrency with Binace and I must confess I'd rather consume your contents.

.
PS: haven't watched this particular video

This is absolutely insane.

An unbreakable principle of mine is that of something requires my payment and I can't do it, it's the right thing to negotiate fairly and I good faith. How can you tell agree to a fee and then tell someone that the rate is too high after a gentleman's agreement? Some people deserve every bad thing they get.

I wonder why people have this idea that they are doing you a favour by paying for your services. If they could do it without paying they would, and if they can't fair pay shouldn't even be considered negotiable
It's a jungle out there.

I'm glad the gentleman would end up not having a single wedding professional photo.

Here's one of my many experiences:
.
Once upon a Saturday morning, woke up from bed and completed all the normal early morning rituals. I had nothing planned to do that day, so I swore on my thumb to sleep all day. After all, it was a holiday and I was visiting my familia.
.
Just when I was about to start my all-day sleeping routine, I got a ring from a photographer paddy. He wanted me to shoot a wedding-the couple were having serious photography problem. Hmmmm, last minute arrangements? A huge red flag.

.
I was reluctant at first and didn't want to move but colleague kept on ringing my phone so I decided to cancel my planned all-day sleeping tournament.

.
Packed my gears and hit my other guy (light assistant). Got to the venue, met the groom and discussed my rates. I asked for an 80% up-front payment but groom brought up some donkey and Shreck story spiced with promises of "you would get your pay, as soon as we round up.Don't worry"-another red flag.
At this moment, I wanted to just leave and go back home but my village people persuaded me to remain and do the job. Brothers and sisters, my village people are very powerful.

.
Wedding was supposed to start by 10AM but by 2PM, the officiating priest was no were to be found. Summary: Priest came around by 3:20PM and I and my assistant flew into action promptly.

.

Now at the reception, it was past way, way past lunch time (past 5pm by now) and I and my assistant had been working/waiting since 8am.

I was hungry, my assistant was as hungry as I was. But I had to be careful not to miss any important moment of the event. Sadly, we didn't come with food and the venue of the event was quite remote.

Leaving to go and source for food would be quite risky as every moment counts so I reached out to the caterers, when the couples went in for the routine outfit change. I was snubbed soundly.
.
I wasn't having any of that so I asked my assistant to pack. My intentions was to abandon the call-of-the-wedding and attend to the calling in my stomach. I had enough money for transport to the next town.
.
On my way out of venue, I met the groom's brother who apologized furiously after I told him why we were leaving. He took upon himself the task of ensuring we got something to pacify the war going on in our stomach.

.

Brothers and sisters, after the wedding, groom said no money. Claimed that my rates were high and hence, he would not be able to pay.
I figured out he planned to settle me with the donations and gifts from his guest. I guess they didn't deliver as much as he expected.
.
I wept like a baby inside and barked at him like a dog outside. Story for another day.
.
.

Dear intending couples, your hired photographer and videographer are amongst the most important invited people to guest. Without those two, memories of the day would be forever lost. We are not some random hungry folks with the intention of devouring all your burnt jollof rice. We have enough money for food but our breaks have to be timed properly so we don't end up missing anything. The least you guys can do is to cooperate with us and give proper instructions to caterers to work with our volatile time.

Y'all need to stop disrespecting photographers for any reason.
.
Dear photographers, if them no give you at least 80% advance, no go. Sidown for house. Always ensure you carry extra cash plus if you can bring your own food, please do and save yourself unnecessary drama

.
.
And for the rude bride's maid, just know you'll not appear in any of the wedding photographs. I've ensured that your presence at that wedding stays in the past.
