Sometimes the mistakes comes from those registering the sim. When their camera refuses to pick the person's face, they either use theirs to register your sim, or they beg someone around to help them use their faces. I have seen this. So, my advice to anyone is to make sure they use their face if really they have a long-term use for the simcard and also you are not into crimes.

This same sh!t happened to me this year. I went to upgrade my MTN SIM at Falomo, Ikoyi and the idi*ot MTN staff used his picture as the display photo for my profile and I didn't know cus we were having issues with my facial capture. Fast forward to this early this year and my phone got stolen in Kano.

I found out the mess after I attempted a SIM swap at one of MTN's branch offices in Kano. I rushed down to their overall head office in Kano and spoke with the chief security officer who connected me with one of the staffs there after enough begging and pity face.
Last last, they run am for me 2k with a stern warning not to pick any call from 180. Six months after, I'm still flexing my line with zero issues.
The stress of that day nearly faint me.

The federal govt should please compensate the families of the dead . The pilot tried his best to avoid crashing on the roof. We saw the way the pilot struggle to get the helicopter out from residential area because he never wanted much casualties. After the crash most of us ran towards the compound to see if we can save anyone , we were knocking at the gate of the crash scene but no one answered us. So a colleague of mine went through the back of the compound and was able to scale thru the fence by then the occupants of the said compound came out and said his only few people that he will allowed.I saw Nigerians busy videoing out of the hundreds of people that are there it was just few people that went to rescue them. We still have a long way to go in this country.Two people died at the spot including the pilot and the remaining casualty was SEVERELY injured. Lasema came an hour later after the accident. The victims were taken to the hospital through ives hospital ambulance( this hospital was beside the crash scene) and not LASEMA ambulance has speculated by the media. Response to emergency in Nigeria is too slow and poor. I don't know the pilot but he died a HERO.

This must be an eye witness account of the tragic incident.

Hello people. My name is Taiwo and I am a portrait and nature photographer based in Nigeria. Today, August 19 is world photography day. I had an encounter with a snake around May, and I have decided to share the experience today. I did my NYSC P.O.P on August 16, so, by May, I was still a corper.

It was in Akure, Ondo state. There was no electricity (as usual). Our landlord turned on his generator and we took the opportunity to charge. After plugging our devices, some of us sat outside to receive fresh air and wait till 9pm (when the generator will go off). . I was reading a novel with my disloyal Torchlight (Just wait to see the disloyalty ) and my back was resting on the fence. So, it was some minutes past eight and everyone has gone inside to do one thing or the other. I was alone outside.

Suddenly, I started having this farmilar feeling of "something wants to happen". I initially thought maybe a scorpion was around or something. I turned on my Torchlight to shine around me, I didn't see nothing. My body was supposed to calm down after doing that, but it didn't. I instantly knew something bad was around the corner. My heart raced faster. I didn't know what told me to on the Torchlight again and shine it right beside me!! Brothers and sisters, by my left, I saw a fairly big royal python coming towards me !! it was very close to me!!! . Immediately the light from my torch fell on it, it stopped and kind of looked up at the light!!!!! That was the moment my very wicked Torchlight decided to blink twice and go off!! . Ladies and gentlemen, , the speed at which I jumped up from the plastic chair amazes me till today!! I shouted blood of Jesus and ran inside the lodge to alert others. The ladies stayed back. of course!! we looked for sticks and I made sure I didn't smash the head more than once, because, the photographer in me just saw an opportunity to take pictures of a python! The devil suggested I preserve it in my room till the next morning!! . What if it wakes up and decides to cuddle me in the midnight?

So, I took a few shots the next morning and replaced the slightly smashed head in Photoshop. Nobody helped me to hold the dead snake or the stick it was on. Very challenging, but, I got the shot and I am happy.
Shots were taken on my Nikon d40x and 55-200mm lens. I need a better camera for wildlife and stuffs. Yes I know!! But, economy is hard.
