PoliticsSee How Tony Nwoye Intends To Create Jobs For Anambra People If Elected by iamstanc(op): 10:00am On Nov 07, 2017
Tony Nwoye Job Creation Manual

What matters most on every candidate's election blueprint is Job creation and so far there's no candidate who has provided a better latitude in job creation more than Dr. Tony Nwoye.

Anambra has a high HDI with lot of youthful population who are entrepreneurial and are prepared to chat their own course with minimal support- it's from this spirit that Dr. Tony Nwoye wishes to tap from to create massive jobs for Ndi Anambra.

Dr Tony Nwoye understands the economic maxim " that it's not the job of the government to create jobs directly but to empower private sector with necessary incentives necessary for job creation" it's the sole reason why Dr. Tony Nwoye is prepared to partner, and off course anchor his job creation on the private sector. To do this Dr. Tony Nwoye has published plans to create three industrial zones in the state; Nnewi, Onitsha and Awka and will provide infrastructure in roads, electricity, communication, transportation and etc to enable an industrial cluster within this zone. He did also publish in his manifesto, his intention to create three independent power mini-grid in the three industrial zones to provide constant electricity to manufacturing firms. Once this is done, manufacturers from all over will navigate down to Anambra and will make Anambra a strong industrial state, hence creating massive jobs and simulating other economic activities.

Dr. Tony Nwoye did also reveal plans to create a certain percentage statutory deductions from IGR, strictly dedicated to SMEs, this funds will be available for with clear outlines and ease of accessibility to thousands of youths in Anambra who are entrepreneurial and have a workable business idea. It's pertinent to know that Dr. Tony did give out grants last year to hundreds of entrepreneurial youths in his constituency. The government of Dr. Tony Nwoye will also not hesitate to take up equity in any promising SME and will provide matching funds to specific investors( those willing to invest in tapping and processing raw materials available in the state) to attract them to the state.

Tax incentives will be provided in property and land registration and the numbers of days it takes to register a business and land and also the period of acquiring a construction permit will be reduced to attract investors to the state

Finally, openings in government agencies and parastatals will be advertised and no under-table employment will be permitted

EducationFresh ASUU Strike Looms As Union Reviews Deal With FG by iamstanc(op): 9:06am On Nov 06, 2017
Fresh strike may be in the offing across Nigeria Universities as the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) holds its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting this week.

The NEC, which is the highest decision making body of the union, is to review Federal government’s implementation of the Memorandum of Action (MoA) it signed with the union before it suspended its strike a few months ago.

Both government and ASUU had agreed to an MoA which stipulated that the federal government would have implemented its agreed contents latest by October, 2017.

The federal government according to investigation, however, was yet to implement issuance of license for the registration of Nigerian University Pension Company (NUPEMCO) which it promised to do within two weeks of strike suspension.

The FG is also defaulting in payment of ‘Earned Academic Allowances and revatilisation funds’ for public universities.
Some lecturers at the University of Ibadan, who spoke with journalists on the condition of anormnity at the weekend noted that it was unfortunate that the government had not paid as promised by end of October.

They said they had asked their leadership not to suspend the strike until the government paid the money as promised but didn’t heed their advice.

Based on the tension generated on campuses, ASUU President Professor Biodun Ogunyemi sent a mail to all the members to douse the tension over the payment of earned academic allowances

“Dear Comrades, the leadership of the union is aware of the palpable tensions on our campuses over the delay in the payment of Earned Academic Allowances (EAA).

“It is therefore not a surprise that for the past three days, a circular dated 24 October, 2017 related to EAA is already trending on some social media network/platforms. The leadership of the union can say categorically that the gaps/Omissions in the said circular were addressed at a meeting with the Honourable Minister of Education last weekend. We have gone far on the matter and there should be results in a matter of days. Thank you”, he wrote.

It was gathered that the Federal Government audit teams have visited campuses and concluded the auditing of staff as agreed but was yet to pay the 23billion Naira promised by the end of October as payment for the 2009/2010 Earned Academic Allowances of lecturers in public universities in Nigeria.

It was also gathered that the NEC of the union will review the implementation of the Memorandum of Action and jointly take a decision on it

PoliticsRundown Of Obiano's 4yrs In Govt: Why Tony Is The Perfect Replacement by iamstanc(op): 1:15pm On Nov 05, 2017
Obiano's Scorecard: Why Tony Nwoye is the Best Candidate

Ineptitude in government has been glorified by all those deceiving the good people of Anambra state with the slogan: 'nkea bu nke anyi'. First and foremost, let us look at the issue of recession. Nigeria was said to be in recession. But, it should be recalled that Anambra had goog savings under former Governor Peter Obi's watch such that the recession rarely affected the state.

The state government was able to pay the paltry sums in salary civil servants receive in the state with relative ease. While Obi administration was ingenious enough to buy vehicles and computers and distribute same to all the schools in Anambra state, government and private schools alike, the Obiano administration only recently demonstrated the capacity of the state government to buy vehicles that will go round the state when the Governor bought shuttle buses and distributed same to all APGA ward chairmen in the state in his desperation for an undeserved second term in office.

Under Obiano's watch, road construction in Anambra is at a standstill. Lest we forget, Obiano promised Anambra people that after his government in Anambra state, succeeding governments in the state will no longer have any business constructing roads as he would have finished doing all Anambra roads. He equally promised to launch operation zero pothole on existing roads in the state; but, today, potholes have returned in many Anambra roads. A typical example is the Nnewi-Ozubulu-Ihembosi-Okija road which is bedeviled with alarming potholes punctuating every pole's distance on the road. Indeed, Anambra people's hopes have been dashed by a government that cannot keep any of its campaign promises.

It should equally be recalled that Obiano did promise ndi Anambra that he would uphold his self-invented "tripple C" theory of governance:
C - Completion
C - Commissioning
C - Commencement.
Under the triple C theory, Obiano committed himself to an oath of completing all the projects started by Obi administration. That is completion. He promised to commission same. That is commissioning. He equally vowed to commence new ones. That is commencement.

Looking at his scorecard, four years down the line, one cannot mention any projects commenced by Peter Obi which Obiano has deemed fit to complete. Is it the shopping mall at Nnewi? Is it the Agulu lake hotel? Is it the Ifite-Ester Obiakor road in Awka metropolis, just to name a few? Suffice it to say that Obiano did not complete the projects initiated by Peter Obi as promised let alone commissioning any one. He simply had commissioners who never commissioned projects. This is ineptitude of the highest degree.

If one consider the third 'C' which stands for commencement and marry same together with Obiano's promise to commit about 2% of the state's annual budget to the development of Awka capital territory, one would be at loss because Awka does not resemble a city with such thrust fund. For instance, the Ifite road which is very close to government house is now impassable, despite leading to the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University. Similarly, Agulu, the host town for the university's faculty of pharmaceutical sciences, just a few minutes drive from Awka, is on the verge of being cut off from the state capital due to bad road.

Considering rural roads, the government ought to hide its face in shame for not being able to deliver the Ozubulu-Ihembosi-Ukpor road infrastructure to Anambrarians. This particular road is being mentioned in this article to represent other rural roads in the state because of the gravity of havoc wrecked on this road by the Willie Obiano government. He did what is best described as deceitful preconstruction earthmoving activity on the once motorable road, loosening the soil structure and then abandoned the project. That single act has proven to be a precursor to a devastating erosion which is now threatening over 200 buildings in the three communities. This is to mention but a few.

But what could be the reason why an incumbent Governor of a state would rather chose to deceive the people he is leading? Anambra was said to be leading other states in local rice production. The truth was however brought to the fore when the President of the federation recognized some states that have done well in rice production and Anambra was not mentioned. This shows that the state government is feeding the public with lies. What about the issue of massive yam production and export from Anambra. Available evidence shows that the yam consumed in Anambra are mostly from Benue and Taraba states. So, where is Anambra yam? What about the export of ugu leaves from Anambra to Europe and America? Through which airports or seaports is this foreign trade being carried out? What is the storage/refrigeration process? How many Anambrarians have been withdrawn from the labour market as a result of this? All these questions should be answered by all those deceiving the people with the slogan: nkea bu nke anyi.

The youths in Anambra are the people bearing the incidence of hopelessness in the current administration. Willie Obiano knows a little about the feelings of the people of Anambra state probably because he retired to the United States where he believed he would spend the rest of his life before Peter Obi brought him back to govern the state. If he had any atom of home feeling, the story would certainly have been different. So, how does he epitomize the saying that nkea bu nke anyi? He simply belongs to the US where he must have starched our common wealth ahead of his exit from power.

The real one that belongs to us is that man who believes in our state; that man who lives amongst us, that man who knows most of us by our first names, that man who feels our pulses, that man whom God has raised from amongst us, that man who has traversed every nook and cranny of Anambra before venturing into state politics, that man who has the burning desire to turn around the fortunes of our dear state to the glory of God and for the good of the citizenry. Vote him today and tomorrow will be filled with glorious tidings. Tony Nwoye is the man. Tony Nwoye bu nke anyi.
Vote Hon. Dr Tony Nwoye for a paradigm shift.

PoliticsNwoye Praises Courage Of Orumba North Traditional Rulers For Shunning Obiano by iamstanc(op): 9:56am On Nov 04, 2017
The Dr. Tony Nwoye Campaign Organisation has praised the courage of the traditional rulers in Orumba North who recently refused to welcome Governor Willie Obiano during his recent campaign visit to the area to protest his failure to carry out projects in the area.
Uba, Obiano and Nwoye
The Nwoye Campaign said that the failure of the governor to carry out any project was despite the flow of N4.137 billion as statutory allocation for Orumba North in the period Obiano has been in power.
Noting the forthrightness of the Igwes, the Nwoye Campaign said that the traditional rulers had shown themselves to be elders who have put the interest of their people above any other consideration.
In the statement signed by Barrister Nonso Madu, the Nwoye Campaign charged every stakeholder with the interest of the state to show similar courage by giving Governor Obiano a red card on polling day.
“What the Igwes of Orumba North demonstrated when Willie Obiano came visiting was a great act of courage reflective of traditional rulers who have the interest of their people at heart.
“Many who are faint hearted would fear for their crowns or be carried away with the champagne that our governor is now using to entice voters. Orumba North traditional rulers have shown that their interests go beyond what a sitting governor can give to them, they have rather looked forward to the deeper interests of their people.
“This is a governor that has warehoused or wasted N4.137 billion allocated from the Federation Account for Orumba North since he was inaugurated in 2014 and that is besides what he inherited.”
“Voters everywhere in Anambra should show similar courage to reject Obiano and show him the red card on polling day.
The Nwoye Campaign vowed that the election of Dr. Nwoye as governor would change the way government relates with the people.
“Dr. Nwoye has his testimonial of performance as he has shown with his brief stay in the House of Representatives where his impact has been felt by those who elected him to represent the people of Anambra East/West Federal Constituency. As governor with executive power he would make more impact on the people without discrimination,” the Campaign said.

PoliticsStop Claiming FG, Obi’s Projects, Nwoye Campaign Tells Obiano* by iamstanc(op): 10:33am On Nov 03, 2017
*Anambra guber : Stop claiming FG, Obi’s projects, Nwoye campaign tells Obiano*

— 3rd November 2017

By Chinelo Obogo and Geoffrey Anyanwu, Awka

The Tony Nwoye Campaign Organisation has accused Governor Willie Obiano’s administration of appropriating projects carried out by his predecessor and claiming that they were done by him.

Nwoye’s campaign spokesman, Nonso Madu, in a statement, alleged that the Obiano administration has also laid claim to some projects carried out by the Federal Government because it had nothing to show.

“With no tangible projects to show to the people after four years, the Willie Obiano administration has resorted to make-belief to deceive the people. He has made a mockery of governance by changing the signposts of projects completed by previous administrations, a fact manifested by the recent effort of his agents to change the sign of Ndiowu Town Road constructed by a previous administration as that done by his government.

“Obiano can change the sign posts, but Anambrarians know he met the roads already completed when he was sworn in four years ago. Even more, he cannot change our minds concerning the failure of his government. Another form of deceit is when the Obiano government castigates the Federal Government but will want to dress beneficiaries of Federal Government projects in his campaign clothes.

“We want to tell him if he does not know, that to dress up beneficiaries of the APC Federal Government Youth Empowerment Programme (N-Power) in APGA campaign tee-shirts, making them believe that N-Power is his administration’s project is deceitful.

“Changing the clothes of the beneficiaries will not change the hearts of beneficiaries. Our people are not deceived. This deceit follows the government’s previous propaganda schemes of claiming credit for exportation of food items that were never produced in the state,”Madu said.

In a related development, Nwoye has pledged to work tirelessly to better the lives of the people of the state if elected.

Speaking when he took his campaign to Awka, the state capital, Nwoye assured that he would remain resolute to serve effectively and efficiently to justify the trust reposed in him by the people of the state. He told the crowd that he would deliver good governance for the collective good of all Anamberians and enjoined them to identify with his progressive agenda for the state’s development.

The APC candidate said if elected his administration would work on a tripod of security, infrastructural development and job creation. Aware that a safer Anambra would attract more investments from local and foreign investors, Nwoye promised to improve in the first quarter of his stepping into office, security with investment in sector that would pave way for free flow of investors within and outside the State.

Nwoye further said that with the investment he would make in security equipment crime rate would reduce in the state to the bearest minimum.

PoliticsTony Nwoye Is A Social And Political Crusader, Who Fights For The Common Man. by iamstanc(op): 12:24pm On Nov 02, 2017
With so much talks about marginalization of Ndigbo. With so much agitation for Igbo emancipation from greedy Igbo leadership who have held us down. What Anambra needs now is a selfless ACTIVIST who will fight for us at all levels and return power to the people.
An activist a person who campaigns to bring about political or social change.
Tony Nwoye is an activist who has shown much courage in defending the rights of the people.
We need political and social change. It is time to drain the swamp. Nwoye has demonstrated his capacity to bring about the much desired political change in our region.
As a student activist, Tony fought for the rights of the students. As a student unionist, Tony brought igbo students together, formed a common front and demanded for the rights of igbo students in Nigeria. Tony united Igbo comrades.
Tony Nwoye was going to various universities to fight for the rights of Ndigbo. When the University of Benin disqualified Igboeli EnyindiIgbo Arinze from contesting the SUG president, because he is an igboman, Tony Nwoye went to the University of Benin to stand with him.
When some Igbo students were unjustly resuscitated in a northern university, Tony became their voice.
When ESUT wickedly increased their school fees to over 500% and it became out of the reach of the poor, Tony led a social protest.
From UNIZIK to EBSU to UNN to FUTO to Uturu, Tony Nwoye was the voice of the students. He fought for the total emancipation and restoration of students rights. He became the voice of the Nigerian students. He engineered a social change in the Nigerian universities and stopped many ills within the University system.
Most importantly, in late 90s when students from Rivers, Edo and Delta invaded southeast through pre-degree/pre-science programmes, and introduced cultism into the universities in igboland, which ought to be a citadel of learning and place of excellence, the academic institutions became threatened, cultism became the order of the day, the University managements were helpless.
The act of student cultism spread like fire between 1996 and 2003. The govt looked the other way. The system became terrified, universities became a jungle, academic activities were disrupted, many schools shut down as a result cult wars, bright brains were shot, the lives of the lecturers were no longer guaranteed as many were murdered in cold blood.
Gentlemen, it was brave students like Tony Nwoye that mobilized genuine students and formed anti cult groups in collaboration with the University management and security agencies that helped to bring the ravaging social ill of cultism to a halt.
The anti cult organisations helped in restoring the system to a large extent where many students who unknowingly got themselves entangled into the act were saved. Many were bold to denounce openly, rejoined their families and returned to the class.
Like in a every other society where men of courage, who champion social and political changes and fight for the rights of the oppressed are brutally faced with all manner of persecution, intimation and abuse by the establishments, like in the case of Martin Luther King, Susan Brownell, Tom Paine, Liu Xiaobo, Comr Tony Nwoye was not an exception. The established university management cabals and lecturers who never wanted the rights of the oppressed students liberated went after him.
He was suspended, blackmailed and threatened. But he remained resolute to the freedom of the students.
When the challenge got so much, he left the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus where he was a medical student and transferred to Ebonyi state university were he graduated.
Upon graduation, the comrade in him refused to give way and in 2004 constitutional Conference organised by the Obasanjo administration, Tony Nwoye was nominated to represent the students and the youths of Nigeria. While on that assignment, the crisis in PDP Anambra state became unbearable, Tony as a social and political crusader was again asked to step in as the state chairman of PDP Anambra State to stabilise the party.
He gave PDP a youthful face and brought a high level of sanity to the party.
There are so much to talk about Tony Nwoye. He has stepped in to challenge the establishment and help solve the plight of the common man.
He has street credibility, he is a grassroot politician, he is loved by the common man. He is a bridge between the top and the bottom.
He is Dr Comr Anthony Okechukwu Nwoye, the November 18, Governorship Candidate of APC.
Pls vote for him to fight for our right and bring our share wherever the establishments are holding it.
Daalu nu.

Education*FG, ASUU: Another Strike Looms Over Oct 31 Agreement* by iamstanc(op): 9:01am On Oct 26, 2017
Another round of strike action is looming in the nation’s Universities as academic staff counts down to the deadline for the implementation of agreements reached with the government which led to the conditional suspension of its indefinite strike action in September.

.
The government had signed an agreement with the Academic Staff Union of Universities as a result of the strike action embarked upon by the union to press the implementation of the memorandum of understanding entered into between both parties in 2013 as well as the 2009 agreement.
.
A timeline of October 2017 was reached between the government and the unions for the implementation of some components of the agreement, especially the payment of shortfall in salaries and Earned Academic Allowances.

But some lecturers informed The Nation that barely one week to the end of the October timeline, the government has not implemented any aspect of the agreement, even when they claimed during negotiation that implementation has commenced.
.
While suspending their strike action in September, ASUU President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi had said that the union was suspending its action conditionally to pave way for government to commence implementation of the agreement, stressing that the union will not hesitate to resume the action if the government fail to meet its own aspect of the agreement.
.
One lecturer who would not want his name in print told The Nation that “the government has not done anything. We have not heard from them and it is just one week to the end of the October deadline. I can assure you that we are warming up and there is the possibility that from November 1, we will resume the suspended action.
.
“They (government) told our leaders during negotiations that they have prepared everything for the implementation. They were even brandishing some papers, especially on the earned Academic Allowance. But we have not seen anything nor heard from them.
.
“They were also supposed to carry our verification because of those who employed workers without permission so that the issue of shortfall in salary can be addressed. Many of us have been verified, but nothing has happened. We have not been paid. They should not take us die a ride because when we resume the suspension action not are not going to listen to any discussion.
.
However, ASUU President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, however, declined to say whether or not the union will call out its members at the end of October if they are not satisfied with the level of implementation of the agreement.
Prof. Ogunyemi told The Nation over the telephone that members of the union will determine the next line of action based on the level of implementation of the agreement reached between the government and the unions.
.
He said both parties were making progress in the implementation of the memorandum of understating signed between them, adding that the union is still engaging the government and expressed the hope that the government will keep to their promise.
.
He said: “We are engaging them and we are making some few progress and we hope they will keep their promise. Otherwise, our members are ready to activate their action.
.
We are still in October, but we are on our guard.
.
We believe they will follow the process through and implement it fully. That is why we still engage them and we are talking. We are working with them and we hope they will continue to cooperate.
.
Asked whether they will embark on any Industrial action at the end of October, he said “I cannot say whether there will be any action at the end of October or not. It is what our members say that we shall do. I hope I am very clear? Our members shall determine what we shall do at the end of the deadline based on the level, of implementation”.
.
The government had promised to meet the demand of the unions with a promise to release of about N220 billion to the universities not later than October 2017 to fund the revitalisation of federal universities in the country and the payment of the shortfall in their salaries as well as payment of earned allowances which has accumulated.

Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige who promised that his Ministry will monitor the implementation the agreement reached had told newsmen after the conciliatory meeting in September that “We have concluded negotiations, the government and the leadership of Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU. The ASUU negotiating team and the government discuss salient issues and most of those issues are well-known to the media but for the purposes of clarity, I can go around the grounds again.

The disturbing image shows the Barcelona star behind bars in the latest attempt by fanatics to spread fear ahead of the the tournament in Russia .
It comes after another chilling poster shows a terrorist armed with a gun and explosives near a football stadium in Russia along with the words: 'I swear that the Mujahideen's fire will burn you... just you wait'.
Another shows New York's One Worldwide Plaza skyscraper along with a gunman, a meat cleaver covered in blood and the caption: 'Soon. Just terror. So the penalty of your strikes will be paid in your lands.'
The message appears to be a reference to coalition bombing campaigns aimed at driving the jihadists out of Syria and Iraq.
According to SITE, which monitors terror activity, pro-ISIS group the Wafa' Media Foundation, published the new World Cup warning in the wake of another recent threat.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be played across 11 cities in Russia from June 14 to July 15, when the final will be played at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
Tens of thousands of England fans are expected to base themselves in St Petersburg for the month-long finals.
St Petersburg, Russia's second largest city, was the scene of an horrific ISIS attack when a briefcase bomb detonated on the underground in April, killing 14 people.
The blast was in retaliation to Russia's airstrikes in Syria that have helped bring the regime to its knees.
Earlier this month, ISIS released another propaganda image featuring bullet-ridden photos of President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, and inviting its followers to stage more attacks on the group's two leading foes abroad.
Thousands of Russians from mainly central Asia have travelled to the Middle East to fight for ISIS.
Experts in Moscow believe around 2,400 joined the regime in 2015 alone.

SportsUEFA Champions League: I Might Sign Harry Kane For Real Madrid – Zidane by iamstanc(op): 9:06pm On Oct 16, 2017
Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, has hailed Tottenham Hotspurs’ Harry Kane as the “complete player”, ahead of their Champions League clash on Tuesday and hinted at signing the England international in future.

Kane leads the scoring charts after two group matches with five goals.
His overall performance this season has left Zidane impressed.

“He is a fundamental player for Tottenham, he is very good in every aspect, but the best thing about him is that he’s always got the goal on his mind,” Zidane told a news conference on Monday.

“He’s a very complete player even though he does not look it, but he always turns up when he needs to.”

Reports in Spain have suggested that Madrid are interested in Kane, but Zidane cooled any talk he is considering signing the 24-year-old.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen in the future,” he said.

Health“stop Squeezing Your Woman’s Breasts”- Medical Doctor Warns Men by iamstanc(op): 1:23pm On Oct 12, 2017
Speaking on the sidelines of the breast cancer awareness month which is celebrated in October every year, Dr. Wiafe
-Addai told Starr Fm morning show host Francis Abban that contrary to claims that the sucking of breast by men reduces the risk of getting breast cancer in women, those claims are untrue.

“It is not true that the more you suck a woman’s breast it prevents the risk of getting breast cancer. What is true is that women who have children should breastfeed, and breastfeeding has some positive effect on the woman as far as breast cancer is concerned. But not adult men to go and suck the breast thinking it will protect the woman from breast cancer, that is not true, it is very fragile so let’s handle it with care…do n’t squeeze it like you have some mango or orange that you are squeezing to get some fluid out,” Dr. Wiafe-Addai counselled.”

Dr. Wiafe-Addai also advised men not to abandon women diagnosed with breast cancer but rather help to fight it.
she said;

“If you find something in a woman’s breast don’t send her to her family home because she has been diagnosed of breast cancer. Give her all the morale even if not financial. So that she knows that someone is with her through the fight. The fight against breast cancer is not an easy one so women need all the support from men, society and the nation,”

CelebritiesBobrisky Biography And Net Worth (before And After Bleaching Pictures, real Name by iamstanc(op): 12:07am On Oct 12, 2017
Find answers on who is Bobrisky, his biography and net worth, Bobrisky’s real name, religion, his pictures (before and after bleaching) here.

Profile

Bobrisky’s real name is Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju. He was born in the year 1992 at Ebute metta. He attended king’s college in Lagos state, one of the most prestigious schools in the country. He studied accounting and graduated from the University of Lagos, (UNILAG).
Religion

Bobrisky has a very rich Muslim background, his parents are devoted Muslims who never jokes with their praying hours(5 times in a day). Unlike his parent, Bobrisky chose to be a Christian, citing stress as his reason for neglecting his parent’s religion. Although, we can’t judge how intimate he is with religion as we couldn’t get the name of the church he attends because he kept that from the media.

How he became popular

It was acknowledged that Bobrisky in 2016 used the social media platform to attract the public to himself by uploading a very controversial statement on his social media accounts (Snap chat and Twitter). He publicly opened the secret behind his marital status and life by showing the image of the man whom he called his boyfriend.

This action alone drews more than a million comments. 80% of these comments were critics while 10% neither criticize nor applauded him. The remaining 10% praised him for his bravery. Some praised him for the courage he possessed to have publicized that kind of information despite knowing that Nigeria’s constitution doesn’t support his action(gay marriage).
As we all know according to the Nigerian constitution, anyone who engages in gay marriage will be sentenced to 14years imprisonment. As cited on Wikipedia , there was also a time Bobrisky was the most searched celebrity on Google from October to November, 2016.

Controversies
There are many controversial celebrities that believe in cross-dressing, which is the act of putting on costumes, dress and other attires that belongs to an opposite sex or gender. Denrele, Charly boy are just some few examples but Bobrisky took the cross-dressing trend to another level which he used to raise controversies and popularity to himself.

As said earlier, Bobrisky is one of those names that always make social media go ‘crazy’ and ‘unsettle’ due to his ever controversial updates of posts, pictures, videos and messages. Early last year, Bobrisky released another controversial statement made on his Snap chat account saying he was more beautiful than 75% of Nigerian girls.

The status update didn’t go down well with Nigeria ladies as they therefore hit back at him, calling him names and also made fun of the lifestyle he chose to live. Also on a notable occasion, a Nigerian presidential aide for reasons best known to him, walked out on sight of Bobrisky at the residence.

Bobrisky Before and After Picture

Business, Assets & Net Worth
Bobrisky is an entrepreneur who uses some of skills and knowledge to create income and wealth for himself even though he brags about it on social media a lot. It is said that he performs as MC(master of ceremony) for high-profile events and occasions.

He also acts in some short video shoots which of course is against society morals. These videos are later uploaded to his Snapchat account and they go viral. It is said he makes money from it too.

Prior to becoming famous, he started out by re-selling clothes to his classmates and doubling the price. Not long after, he was able to open his first boutique in Ikeja. He called it Bob, which was the short for Bobo, his old childhood nickname.

Later, when his lifestyle started to attract even more people, he took the name Bob, added the word ‘risky’ and became the infamous Bobrisky. He later opened another shop for selling makeup.

He also sells creams which he named “Bobrisky bleaching cream”. The cream called Bob Whitening Cream became internationally famous, with exports to countries like the United Kingdom and Germany. He claims that his cream, which costs $400, sells everday. This brings in quite a fortune every year. However, we could not find his cream in any of the online beauty stores, so all we have to go by is his word.

Although, he boasted of having $250, 000 in his bank account and more. Unfortunately, we couldn’t provide his accurate net worth as it is not available online.

PoliticsAnambra Guber: The Leading Candidates – A Comparative Analysis by iamstanc(op): 11:05pm On Oct 09, 2017
#AnambraDecides Articles Politics
Anambra guber: The Leading Candidates – A Comparative Analysis – by Kingsley Ubani
 
In every contest there are heavyweights and there are light weights. Last month (September), the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) published the names of the candidates running for the November 18 Anambra gubernatorial election and their affiliate political parties. A total of 37 candidates were on the list. However, only few of them are showing the requisite body language matching for such a contest with due respect to the other contestants in the race.
The candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and People Democratic Party (PDP) by the virtue of the political structure under their control are the leading candidates.
The PDP Candidate
Oseloka Obaze
Oseloka Obaze (62), the candidate of the PDP is a former United Nations diplomat who has served across Europe and Africa, an international civil servant.
Obaze’s wide experience in international affairs and conflict resolution distinguishes him from the rest. Obaze, a former Secretary to the State Government in Anambra state (2012 – 2015) hinges his campaign on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). He believes that the incumbent governor has failed in sustaining the developmental strides of his predecessor in education and infrastructural development and is offering to revisit and revive those sectors if elected.
Obaze’s Challenges
Obaze will face a number of challenges on the road to the government house. Spending the greener part of his life as an international civil servant puts him at a political disadvantage when compared to his major opponents who on paper has a better understanding of the political grassroot structure of the state. However, he appears to be banking on the support of the former governor of the state, Mr Peter Obi who many believe is his godfather.
To realize his dream of being elected, the PDP candidate will have to rely on the prowess of more politically grounded entities such as Peter Obi, Joe Martin Uzodike and a host of others. He will have to work towards gaining the attention and support of the aggrieved members of APGA, particularly those who feel they did not benefit from the current APGA led government.

The APC Candidate

Tony Nwoye
Tony Nwoye (43) is a medical doctor by training but his background is more political than medical. Tony, a former National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) President, a member of house of representatives and the youngest ever PDP state chairman has spent the better part of his youth in grassroot mobilization. He has, against all odds risen to political relevance at a younger age.

In fact, he is two decades younger than his two major opponents.
Nwoye’s strength lies on his core knowledge of the business of politics – this gives him the privilege to break the middle men barrier often placed between the electorate and the politician.

On paper, Nwoye has a better understanding of the state’s political terrain and the dynamics therein.

His campaign is centered on youth transformation and financial prudence. He accuses the incumbent governor of crippling the local government economy and offers to revive the local economy through a functional local government system.

Nwoye believes that being a younger candidate puts him in a better position to understand the needs of young people than his opponents.

Nwoye’s Challenges

Tony Nwoye’s ambition to be governor has seen him naturally step on the toes of many political heavyweights. He will face the challenge of gaining acceptability among the political elites, who may consider him too ambitious and may have fears that his emergence as governor will bring about the rise of a new generation of politicians in the state – which may force the heavyweights of today into political retirement.
Another major challenge of Dr Nwoye is the platform on which he vies – the All Progressives Congress (APC) hasn’t quite enjoyed huge acceptability in the state when compared to that of their two major opponents (APGA and PDP).

The APGA Candidate

Willie Obiano
The APGA candidate also happens to be the incumbent governor of the state. Willie Obiano (62), the governor of Anambra state whose seat is up for grabs is a former Executive Director of Fidelity Bank with a very sound background in banking and institutional financial management. Obiano believes he has done well and deserves reelection. His strength is his ability to sustain the prompt payment of civil servants salaries since assuming as governor – even in the time of recession when over 20 states of the federation could not pay salaries.

He believes that no governor before him has made the kind of investment he made in commerce and industries and quite frankly, during his tenure, a number of shopping malls has become operational in the state. Notable among them are: ROBAN stores Awka, Stanel World Awka and Shoprite Onitsha.

Obiano’s campaign is driven by Continuity. He believes that he can only consolidate what he has done during his first term in second term and offers to continue on the path of providing an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

Obiano’s Challenges

Being the incumbent governor, Obiano is the major target. He occupies the seat wanted by 36 other candidates. His fallout with his predecessor, Mr Peter Obi who practically installed him as governor is one of his major challenge. Obi believes that Obiano did not sustain his developmental strides as planned. He (Obi) is of the belief that Obiano has not efficiently managed the resources he handed over to him and hence does not deserve to be returned as governor.

To make it come to pass, Ellen got the entire audience, about 400 people, at the taping of her show to do the “Single Ladies” dance, in hopes that her instavideo of it would catch Beyoncé’s eye.

The crowd did the dance, but there was no word from Beyonce.

SportsNigeria Vs Zambia Match Update. by iamstanc(op): 1:45am On Oct 06, 2017
Nigeria and Zambia will renew rivalry once again over the weekend as they both chase the much-coveted World cup qualification spot, so let us look distinctively at what we might come to expect of the cracker.
OPINION — By Okpetim Emmanuel( @OkpetimE on twitter
On paper, this one is hardly a mammoth task for Nigeria as it might have earlier looked, much thanks to the brilliance of the Super Eagles in the course of this qualification series. And then, it looks even more simpler — after all, the general notion of navigating a Group of Death is that it should be largely arduous. So far,it is swiftly shaping up to be anything but a gristle-like crack nut. The Eagles have consummately blown away their group opponents by glamorous scorelines, employing swashbuckling displays, cheer steeliness in execution and that churning desire to get the job finished is expected to dutifully come to fore when the ball gets rolling again in Uyo on Saturday.
A victory(or a draw) for the Rohr's led Eagles would all but secure qualification and though the Chipolopolo are still within a shouting chance of nicking it from their opponents if they can, themselves, equally muster a win, it is scarcely within foresight to postulate anything like such upset by the time Joshua Bondo calls for time to signal the end of the likely gruelling duel.

As far as official head to head records go, the Super Eagles do have the upper hand too: in 17 previous meetings between them, Nigeria have won seven, shared spoils five times and only five of those had gone in the favour of Zambia. It might not necessarily look an accurately decisive record-book to work with, after all,the Super Eagles had it all to work for in Ndola last year. And now the 2012 Afcon champions do have everything to play for in hope of a maiden appearance at the mundial in 2018,they should be no pushovers, needless to say they would be willingly out to get one over their opposition and as well, crash their looming party.
This might yet prove to be the sternest examination of Nigeria's strengths— mentally and physically, the final hurdle to scale towards achieving an overdue aim and it is overly imperative that it is approached with every bit of business-like attitude. While Zambia would be playing the underdogs, the 2-0 loss to South Africa in a recent Nations Cup qualifier is still very fresh in memory and should be serving up a decent warning — underating these willy Copper Bullets would be to our own perils. Moreso, the East African nation would not have picked a better time to face Nigeria. Buoyed by their back to back victories over Algeria during the previous international week, they would be looking to continue such hot streak of form synchronously; with another giant-killing of sorts, it cant just get any better.
Meanwhile, the Eagles have a full camp ahead of the encounter, with Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon, Olaoluwa Aina and Chidozie Awaziem conspicuously missing out of Tuesday's first training for different reasons. However, team skipper, Mikel John Obi, Anthony Nwakaeme, Odion Ighalo, Leon Balogun, William Troost-Ekong, John Ogu, Oghenekaro Etebo, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Elderson, Daniel Akpeyi, Wilfried Ndidi, Mikel Agu, Dele Ajiboye, Uche Agbo, Aremu Azeez, Ahmed Musa, Ifeanyi Ifeanyi and Kelechi Iheanacho were all part of the drill conducted by Gernot Rohr as the German is poised to name an unchanged starting XI from the Cameroon games.
Their opponents, the Chipolopolo touched down in Abuja from Marcel Desailly Sports Complex in Accra where they had been gearing up for the game and would, thereafter, continue preparations for the match.
