Locally produced rice and beans is almost as expensive as the imported ones so what was the use of all the billions that was allegedly distributed to farmers? The same farmers cannot go to farm because of insecurity. Why are we shutting the border against food importation when we don't have enough capacity to produce locally in sufficient quantity? Is this not wickedness?

There is no massive agricultural program that will yield the kind of short-term result that is needed to combat the hunger in the land. Imagine buying garri paint rubber for 4k-5k in this country that has cassava in abundance.

Well I never expected anything tangible from Tinubu cos I never believed in him or APC but to think that Tinubu has beat Buhari by running the economy aground in less than a year makes buhari appear like a saint and it's unfortunate.

I only feel for those who voted APC and placed all their hope and emotion in Tinubu. Hold on tight....still a long way to go there's 7 more years. By the time he's done hunger may have wiped off a quarter of the country
