Elxandre: lol... This has since been removed via the black update and above! Dunno why they could do that. Mine still remains make sure before you apply any update, your on the "Preview for Developers" programme. If you're not on it, I can't assure you it would remain after updating. Plus if your phone was not initially locked to a specific carrier, you should have not problem switching between 2G and 3G once you're on Lumia cyan or a more recent update. Phones locked to At&T like mine have this feature unchanged like mine even after updating, though the Preview for Developers does come in handy. |

Click on the 3 dots at the bottom of the screen to access the settings option, click settings and under network type, select 4G only. Plus make sure Toggle ENS is switched off |

charlesm91: yea,i second that. you can't set it to 3g only. i hope windows 10 for mobile will correct that. it will be announced on 21st Jan. So lets wait n see what Microsoft got in store for us. Actually you can, dial ##3282# to go into the Field Test mode. Once you're in tap the options bar at the lower end of your digitizer i.e. those three dots that appear at the lower end of your screen. Click Settings once the bar comes up and here you can select under Network Type 2G or 3G or 4G or whatever. Make sure you toggle TNS off. Might require a boot though. Do that and you're good to go. |

have you ever applied for job before?! do you turn in your credentials or do the hiring company get it from your claimed institution? In a sane world things don't work upside down, it's only in animal world that things happen that way. If you had taken WAEC or JAMB twice you would have told them during the second time they already have your information and so you won't be turning in new and fresh ones? omenka: Anyone who doesn't see the hand of Jonathan in all of this is indeed an ignoramus. I bet the flame has been doused in a way from SR's publication yesterday.
They understand the game is up and are using every means possible to maintain status quo. Whatever it was, I don't think the General has lost a single fan or supporter to the controversy. Matter of fact, the incident has strengthened people's resolve to fight on. Nigerians will resist the Killer Party at every turn this time.
Let them enjoy the two seconds the incident has given them under the spotlight. We know it is just a line in the sand and with a gentle breeze it will disappear. Jonathan has ruined the PDP and has done very terrible damage to the unity of this country, but I believe after Buhari is sworn in, one pill at a time, the healing process will be initiated and in a short time we would start seeing each other as we did pre-Jonathan.
We will conquer. God bless Our General. Amen.. |

Politics › Re: Army Has Buhari’s Academic Records, But Not Original Copies Of His Certificates by IanDiamonds: 9:46pm On Jan 03, 2015 |
joeyekembele: But let's have this right. It is possible for one to use a fake result for an employment, grow in the job and retired. But it is difficult for such person to present the certificates when requested since fake certificate doesn't have original. As student, we witnessed when some students were expelled from school during result verification owing to the fact that they played their ways into the university through any means possible but could not present the original certificates when needed. He was a general in the army, we all know that. But where is the certificates he used to get enrolled into the military? Note also that, privileges were given to the core Northerners in the past to encourage them participate in the affairs of the nation despite their poor performances. Buhari might have being a beneficiary but feels ashamed to declare that openly. Besides, a whole lot of retired officers rose to higher ranks in the military with school cert. Which is below the constitutional academic qualifications of a would be president of this nation. I have a lot of then in my community who did not go to the college or secondary school, but rose to become colonels in the military. SHOW YOUR CERTIFICSTE oga general. End of discussion. I wont be surprised should ASUU go on strike for your sake. |

Politics › Re: Jonathan Has Performed In All Sectors - Sambo by IanDiamonds: 10:48pm On Dec 25, 2014 |
olatunji21: Vice President Namadi Sambo on Thursday said President Goodluck Jonathan has delivered on the various promises he made to Nigerians while seeking their votes ahead of the 2011 general elections.
He said Nigerians were currently excited because the present administration had delivered in all sectors of national life. Sambo spoke when he joined the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Muhammed; and the Minister of State, Olajumoke Akinjide, to lead FCT delegation to pay a Christmas homage on Jonathan at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. He said Jonathan’s performance cut across all sectors including transportation, power and education.
He recalled that the present administration had established 12 new universities, increased power generation to over 4,000MW and has started revamping the railway.
The Vice President said he and others would continue to be praying for the President because his good health is the good health of Nigerians.
Sambo said, “We are here to rejoice and celebrate Christmas with you and as well pray for peace, progress and development of the country.
“We are also here to thank you for your transformation agenda. We know that you have been able to deliver on your promises to Nigerians.
“In Port Harcourt, everybody was happy when I flagged off Port-Harcourt- Enugu railway line on your behalf. “In all sectors, you have delivered. In agriculture, Nigerians are excited. The efforts you have put in, in only two years, have reduced our food import.
“There is no doubt that there is improvement in electricity supply in Nigeria. We are conveniently giving Nigerians over 4,000MW as against the 2,300MW we inherited.
“In education, we have developed brand new 12 universities and they are doing well. We will continue to pray for your good health because your good health is the good health of all Nigerians. Jonathan, in his response, urged Nigerians not to relent in their prayers for the country.
He said their prayers had continued to sustain the country at a time when those outside the country always feel the nation would explode because of the various negative reports they read.
He again faulted some people he described as senior citizens who make regular negative comments about the country. He insisted that the country would come out of its current security challenge stronger.

codedguy1: We will continue to go round in circles in this country until we decide, if possible, forcing ourselves to do the right thing!
The question is, what is the right thing?
With this present structure Jonathan and Buhari can't do natin, both groups will continue to pillage the country if/when they get into power.
The right thing (which might not exactly be perfect but will easily get this country to reach its potential faster than what we have now) is to decentralize the govt and go back to regional govt.
The South South will be rich with the oil and can work on Tourism as their Comparative advantage for economic groth.
South East are predominantly commercial people and will exploit that to the fullest.
South west are service providers and enterpreneurs.
The North central are known for having good agricultural base.
North west and East can also start commercial exploitation of mineral resources and use their wide expanse of land for agric.
These exploits are not exclusive to d region I put them.
Because the Money mainly comes from oil in the ND it is believed that if we agree to this that the ND will be stupendously rich while almost all other regions will suffer and so there would be serious resistance to this, but it does not have to be so cause south south cannot drink the oil, they would need to trade with other parts and that's what will keep us one.
Once we do this, things like ministry of power, education, health, works, agric etc will be the policy that each region wants to follow.
There would be a national Assembly with reps from the regions and they would be maintained by their regions.
These are a few of the suggestions I feel will make us even stay closer as Nigeria! Actually this would become the bane of a united Nigeria. This owing to the fact that even within regions even tribes, we still have classism. In a country like Nigeria discrimination still has its occurence within tribes. Say yoruba's for example we have the (ondo's, Ijebu's, Egba's e.t.c) and each group still holds doctrines the other group opposses. Still, such groups are thus composed of smaller groups, but there is as much difference between even the small groups; as Chief Obafemi Awolowo put it, as much "as there is between Germans, English, Russians and Turks". The whole idea of regionalism would actually create much more disorder and conflict than already is. Forget not it was the bane that caused our Nation's known civil war |

Oyimzy: . To guess right, you'd have to be a genius... Here's how your normal MTN recharge card looks like 5675 - 4321 - 7896 The code above is what you use to credit your phone with a specified credit unit innit; so normally you'll dial *555*567543217891# when trying to forge a card by random guessing, most people make the mistake of switching the numbers above. Well wrong. The recharge card you're loading has been re-ordered i.e. 5675 - 4321 - 7896 would be 21789567546 in its normal order. Another fact is the order to which each unit is arranged is not consistent. I had a friend then who knew the re-ordering system, and used that to his advantage, but he's in Jail now. Crime never pays.. |
