@maeden try to be matured in conversation rather than insulting and closed minded
if you can not learn to respect my opinion, then don't respond to it. you
need to learn to talk without being insulting, i am sure this is not the way you
relate to people face to face. please stop, this behavior is neither productive nor
attractive
CelebritiesRe: Mike Adenuga To Fly In Beyonce For Daughter's Wedding In April by ibabalol: 7:07pm On Apr 08, 2010
i think it is wrong to spend money just any how you want
the bible warns against being wasteful, even though
it was in regards to food, i think since society has changed
the same rule should apply to money.
our billionaires should learn to give back to the society a
lot more. Adenuga makes money through glo from  Nigerians
not Americans. Adenuga should learn from great people like
Enoch Pratt that privately established free public libraries
in an effort to impact the lives of many.
i believe that if our millionaires and billionaires start giving
back to the society, people would believe in Nigeria some
more. the level of resentment towards the rich from the
poor would reduce.
for all those that says "it is his money he should do
whatever he wants with it" i think they should have a rethink.

They took us to festac police police station there were about 12 of us all in our boys and girls all in our late teens and early twenties at the time. The police released those who had small doh to settle them, serviced the babes among us and let we who remained go free around 7am the next morning

PoliticsRe: Have Nigerian Taxi Drivers Suddenly Become Rich Or Telling Fantastic Stories by ibabalol: 8:22pm On Mar 25, 2010
As the African adage goes it is the fly
that refuse to listen that follows the corpse
to the grave.
i have given a thousand and one reason
why this path is not the one to take
but some people think that i am being biased
to put the litmus paper to the test, whoever
thinks taxi driving in the US is a good way to go
should go ahead and try it for sometime and
come and give testimony.
this is my last post on this topic
y'all be good now.
PoliticsRe: Have Nigerian Taxi Drivers Suddenly Become Rich Or Telling Fantastic Stories by ibabalol: 5:33pm On Mar 25, 2010
some times it is not about being smart or not,
it is like going to the lake to fish, you have the experience and all your
tools and you are very determined to put in enough
effort and hours but the fish are just not there for some reasons.
do you get what i am trying to say, sometimes people are just not
spending money, sometimes people will not take cabs.
where are you going to get the money from if they dont get in your
cab.
PoliticsRe: Have Nigerian Taxi Drivers Suddenly Become Rich Or Telling Fantastic Stories by ibabalol: 5:28pm On Mar 25, 2010
@fleming it is very possible for any cab driver to make a negative
income because there are days that they go out and not make much money.
mean while they have to deliver money to their boss, as for the owners
they can go out and not make money but incur more debt, either by
traffic tickets, burning more gas than they earn which happens believe it or
not. yes zero and negative income are very possible for many drivers.
thats how drivers get kicked out of the company until they are able to pay back
old dues.
PoliticsRe: Have Nigerian Taxi Drivers Suddenly Become Rich Or Telling Fantastic Stories by ibabalol: 5:15pm On Mar 25, 2010
@Fhemmy
because your car may peak 180miles/hr doesn't meant you will make it
from lagos to kaduna in 5hrs
the $200-$300/day is not every day but some days
there are days of  0$/day
there are days of -$50 to  -$100/day
think about cost for purchase of automobile, repair of auto mobile,
tickets, dues, fees insurance etc then you will see how those earnings
do not add up to much.
imagine how your body will fell after working 12-14hrs /day for 7days
continuously.
PoliticsRe: Have Nigerian Taxi Drivers Suddenly Become Rich Or Telling Fantastic Stories by ibabalol: 4:54pm On Mar 25, 2010
@DAYO, LOOK AT IT A CAB DRIVER'S SALARY USUALY AN AVERAGE OF $35,000
MANY MAKE LESS, A FEW MAKE MORE WITHOUT HEALTH INSURANCE
WHAT HAPPEN IF THIS PERSON FALL SICK WHICH MANY OF THEM DO
CAB DRIVER ALWAYS HAVE AN ONGOING BILLS, EXTREMELY HIGH CAB
INSURANCE, VERY HIGHT ASSOCIATION FEES, NO BENEFIT OF WHATSOEVERY,
MEANING IF YOU ARE SICK YOU GET ZERO INCOME BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY ALL THESE
BILLS PUTTING YOU AT NEGATIVE INCOME PLUS HAVING TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR
HEALTH CARE.
THERE ARE PERIODS OF THE YEAR WHERE CAB DRIVERS WORK LONG HOURS AND DONT
EVEN EARN A THING AFTER PAYING FOR GAS.

A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE, CAB DRIVING IS NOT THE WAY FOR ANYONE THAT
HAVE A CHOICE

IF YOU DEFINITELY HAVE TO DRIVE A CAB, ALWAYS GET A PLAN B
DO NOT GET STUCK IN THE DEAD END JOB OR END UP DEAD!!

YOU DONT MAKE MONEY IN CAB IF YOU PLAY BY THE RULES SO THE HIGH EARNERS IN CAB
DRIVING CHEATS THEIR PASSENGERS THROUGH VERIOUS MEANS MOST OF THE TIME.
SO HOW CAN YOU BE A CHRISTIAN OR MUSLIM AND BE A SUCCESFUL CAB DRIVER.

I RESPECT ALL NIGERIAN CAB DRIVERS FOR THE STRUGGLING SPIRIT IN THEM
I PRAY THAT GOD OPEN UP BETTER WAY FOR THEM
