I don't know if anyone will still condemn this speech by wike. These are the key points I have raised on several occasions.
1. The governor undermines the efforts of people that worked for his own victory under the leadership of wike.
2. He did that too early and everyone who has the knowledge that wike and his team worked for his victory would condemn the timing of his action.
3. Finally, he succeeded in de marketing himself as a politician. Assuming there is another election today and he has not enough money for campaign like in 2023, I can bet that politicians and parties will be very much reluctant to bring out their resources to support him. Those supporting him now are doing that because they think it's an opportunity to get back at wike, not because they will swallow the pile if the table is turned against them.
Well I believe he can still remedy the situation, he should reflect on his journey and follow his heart. It's never too late to make amend.

We are feeling the effects of those policies. We all should know that they were just to change direction of where the country was heading to before he came in but in the long,with implementation of good policies there would be smile on every Nigerian. This is not politics matter.

Mr Obasanjo didn't perform any magic. He was lucky that he met more favourable conditions on ground.

-1999 - Mr Obasanjo inherited:
- Average daily oil production 2.15 million
- Population - only 125 million people
- No Boko haram, bandits, herdsmen palaver
- Large debts that Nigeria had the money to pay.

2023 - Mr Tinubu inherited:
- Average daily oil production - only 950 thousand
- Population - 220 million (nearly double OBJ's)

-Large debts that Nigeria didn't have the money to pay back. Nigeria was on the verge of bankruptcy.

No President in the history of Nigeria has faced the severity of the economic conditions that Mr Tinubu inherited. As such no Nigerian President has been as tested as him. Hands down, the most reformist President Nigeria has ever had.

It is easy to paint Mr Obasanjo as a Saint. Where is the result of the $12 billion his regime claimed to have spent on power.

People will commend Tinubu when he leaves. He saved Nigeria from trouble ahead with two policies people criticized as evil, removal fuel subsidy and unifying forex. The problem with this govt is policies implementation to cushion the effects of subsidy removal.

Nigeria’s long term economic outlook is very bright. International organizations are all very optimistic about Nigeria’s future because of all the economic reforms President Tinubu is working on.

You don’t have to like Tinubu to see some of these things. For the past 30 years or so, all presidents have had to worry about fuel subsidy, electricity subsidy, forex subsidy, state governments hijack of local government funds etc. In less than two years, he tackled all these issues instead of sidestepping them like all others have done. Going forward, no president after him will have to worry about any of these issues.

Things may be difficult but some of these things Judy have to be done in the overall long term interest of the country.

Tinubu can't solve Nigeria's problem in less than 2 years. The economy could have been worst than it is now if not for Tinubu.

I like the way you stand logic on its head to justify your perfidious mumble jombo. My age is utterly irrelevant here.

1. The external reserve as the time your Emiefele left was down to barely $3billion when you back out the FX forwards to banks, trapped airline funds, and part of the external reserve already used as collateral with JP Morgan. So the unencumbered $38 billion foreign reserve is wishful thoughs.
2. The monumental fraud in petroleum subsidy and crude oil swap had to be stopped immediately. Divide $10 billion USD by 365 days to give you an idea of what the oil and gas parasites were pocketing. Add the petroleum products smuggled across the porous borders and we are talking over $15 billions of huge leakages in our fragile economy.
3. Yes Tinubu worked to bring Buhari to power, but we all know Buhari ran his government the way he deemed fit. Was Tinubu a member of his cabal? If anything, he was completely sidetracked by Abba Kyari and Maman Daura. Baring occasional push back, have you ever heard Tinubu complain? He is busy working to write the wrongs.
4. What was Atiku's role in OBJ'S government when OBJ made him a personal non grata in their 2nd term. Atiku used the 1st term to enrich himself....Intel is staring us in the face.
5. The gap between the official and autonomous foreign currency market was inimical to any economic development. Emiefele and the Buhari cabal were simply feeding fat on the free currency arbitrage. Only a mad man will keep that going. OBJ, YarAdua, Jonathan all bridged the gap between official and black market rate to a tiny fraction!

Tinubu could have continued and be sharing the rewards of these economic sabotage amongst his friends and cronies, but he chose not to.

I am sure your Obi would have been clueless on what to do while Atiku will have continued with the old shenanigans till the country files for bankruptcy. I tell you with all intent and purpose, amongst the choices we were left with, Tinubu is the king!

Where were you when Buhari printed over N50 trillion naira in ways and means? Cleaned out External Reserves to near zero. Using External Reserve USD to borrow and siphon the proceeds. Crude oil production was below 1m bpd. Massive petroleum subsidy fraud. FX Racketeering by Emiefele, Maman Daura and co. Massive crude oil theft.

Nigeria was a few months into declaring bankruptcy. Tinubu is no saints, but far better that the calamitous Atiku.

What happens when you spend what does not belong to you. . ...payback! We are paying back on Buhari's mess.

Not true! With Buhari's cabal behind Atiku, he didn't need Wike. The 2023 election was 💯 Atiku. He was too naive to figure out Obi's negative impact. Else, he would have struck a deal with Obi and the rest would have been history.

But God has sympathy for Nigerians, because Atiku's Presidency would have been a Calamity. Far worse than Abacha!


I disagree. Obi was lured out of PDP just to divide PDP votes in the south, while Kwakwanso was used to divide the north votes.
