Bandirao:Let me educate you….Fulani came in drove from the futa jalon area of Guinea in the 1700s in search of vegetation for their livestock…that was the first mass movement of Fulani people to the area now considered as northern Nigeria They were able to assimilate easily because of the similar religion with the people in northern Nigeria and they heard many Islamic scholars among them….especially among the town Fulani…they’re two groups of Fulani…the town Fulani and the ones that are mostly in the bush die to the nature of their work…which is mostly cattle herding |
