Please, I need clarification on my borehole that was drilled.
I did geophysical survey and the report says;
Weathered/Fractured layer is 40M depth
The recommendation was to drill to 70M depth.

I actually drilled 75m depth and water was not seen at that depth, but at 25m to 30m depth water came out after that level water wasn't sighted again.

Please what should I do?

Thank you for your question, this is why I always beg my clients to carry out a geophysical survey. Honestly speaking, is difficult to give you a yes or no answer in this case. The report made mention of a low yield, meaning that depending on your water requirements or expectation, the borehole may or may not give you the required quantity that may be sufficient for you. They equally made mention of consulting the client before embarking on the borehole project, the reason is just to iron out some of these areas so that you will not expect a very productive borehole in the end. The choice is entirely yours to make, but if you decide to embark on the project, make sure you involve an experienced Geologist in other to get the best result possible.
