Please I need your advice... Due to the Naira devaluation, my POF is short of 1.5 million. Do you think it is advisable to update the POF account and raise a webform or is POF locked at AOR?

23 weeks is in the 6th month

First Trimester
Week 1-4 is the 1st month
Week 5-8 is the 2nd month
Week 9 -13 is the 3rd month

Week 14-17 is the 4th month
Week 18-21 is the 5th month
Week 22-26 is the 6th month

i am fine, morning sickness has eased off a bit but i still vommit plus back ache.

please 23weeks is how many months? am yet to understand how they count this, then it seems my baby has started learning how to kick, i usually feel this kind of mild kpum kpum on my pelvic region.

I'm registered here and will be having my baby via Elective CS in few weeks. I was referred there by a friend, she had her baby via CS and she said the doctors are very good which I can attest to, I registered for antenatal since 12 weeks and I haven't had any complaint about the doctors. You will be in safe hands, I don't know how much it costs because I haven't asked.

Please has anyone used Royan Hospital Ojodu for CS, kindly share the experience and what the cost is like, Doctors are on strike so it seems one needs to find alternative as soon as possible if one is close to delivery.

You can try Royan too, their doctors are very good. Antenatal is about 30,000. Antenatal is Tuesday and Saturday.

You can lick natural honey to ease the cough, I don't know if it's okay to use cough syrup in pregnancy. It's best to avoid all drugs not prescribed by the doctor.

Thanks, ma. I'm doing well, I'm getting too light sef and the glow is nice. People call me fresh pregnant lady now oo. My bump is out now and my navel is popping. We are 20 weeks now, it makes me feel like EDD is almost here, lol.

Please go to the hospital as soon as you can. It might be round ligament pain and it could be something else, it's best you hear a piece of professional advice from your gynecologist to rule out anything serious. Take care Mama

Good morning manas. Pls I have a little problem. Sunday morning in church, I started feeling little lower abdominal cramps, the pains continued till yesterday evening when it stopped completely with no spot or discharge.
The pain wasn't rhythmic but was little discomforting and was majorly on the right side. Pls should I be worried of anything? We are in our tenth week. I only got a little relief when google said it round ligament pain, uterus expanding. Is round ligament pain not too early at ten weeks?
I can't go see a doctor yet till maybe weekend. Pls house should I be worried?

True, the first scan done before 12 weeks is the dating scan. This is the most accurate one. LMP is also very accurate for calculating EDD.

BS means Birth Story, LO means Little one, BA means Birth Alert or Birth Announcement. There are so many other acronyms like DH refers to Husband, DW is Wife, VE is Vagina Examination, you can always ask when you don't understand what it means.

I feel better these days, just occasional stomach pain. I also feel bloated when I eat. I prefer this second trimester to the first one. Thank you for checking on us. God will grant us all a smooth pregnancy and safe delivery, nothing missing, nothing broken in Jesus Christ's name.

Last week, my hubby reported me to my parents that I love taking cold drinks and they warned me to desist from it. As it is now, I don't have access to the freezer. During this MS stage, cold drinks have been my saving grace. I don't know how I will survive without cold water. It seems too much fruits and vegetables purge me. The way I purged throughout the week was scary, i had to go for scan to be sure my baby is okay. Thank God, everything is fine.

I am just tired.
Funny, I still live God more everyday but, the question is, "when would you bless me right, God?"

I could not come here since last year July to announce my delivery since I lost her to sudden bleeding from placenta abrasion or whatever that was called.

2 miscarriages, 1 still birth and another miscarriage at 6wks yesterday, has left me so quiet and angry in my spirit.

Like why?

When?

Now, I feel like fighting something.
Must I miscarry and no one is giving a particular reason to why?

Do I have to enter 12 weeks bed rest immediately I am confirmed pregnant just to make it past 1st trimester risks?

I am absolutely tired but this time I am not sad but angry.

I think it's 6 weeks, the scan usually states the exact calculation. It also states she has fibroids, please let her go to the hospital to monitor the fibroids well, I have the same issue and the doctors said I have to be monitored closely because fibroids and pregnancy na real work.

My woman went for a pregnancy scan and this was the result: Eary cyesis < 6 weeks co-exist with uterine fibroids

What does this mean?

Does it mean the pregnancy is greater or lesser than six weeks?

I'm about to start Duphaston too but I'm worried it will push out pregnancy symptoms

Yes my darling I am worried I won’t lie, but I am doing everything right, I am on duphaston ( twice daily), metformin, pregnacare, I am resting so why will that crazy man tell me otherwise

I also had the same issue, all I did was wait for two weeks and here we are now, everything is normal, I even did three scans before I agreed to wait. While waiting I did a quantitative beta hCG test, it is done to know if your pregnancy is viable. You can repeat it every 48 hours, in my case I waited for 96 hours and the number doubled in 96 hours. That was proof that my pregnancy was moving along well.

You shouldn't worry about anything too, God always comes through for His children.

So I came back today from hospital with a sad face

I was so dizzy yesterday and my hubby forced me to the hospital, I had to run all the plenty test and was scheduled for scan

Blood pt came out positive
But the scan said he can’t really see anything
He was even arguing with me if I am pregnant till I showed him result from the lab

Last week I did scan just on my own in a good scan center, cos I had cramps Nd I was scared of miscarriage as I have experienced it b4 and the sonograper measured it to be 5wks 1day and said everything is ok that they is gestational sac but no fetal pole but he said I shldnt worry that they dnt see fetal pole till 8 weeks


So why is scan center seeing at least gestational sac and hospital is not seeing anything by the way both are pelvic scan

And both urine and blood shows positive

My breast is still heavy
No cramps or pain
No bleeding
Not stressed in anyway


Also no UTI that’s the only good news
