Accommodation Needed

2 bedroom flat is urgently needed in Swansea for a family.

We intend to be in Swansea by 14th January, 2022.

Budget is £600pcm.
Sa1-SA6 is okay with us. Even Llanelli.

We also have a UK guarantor, if needed.

Is Birth certificate, compulsory for main applicant?

Abeg, have been trying to pay for IHS with my barter virtual dollar card. But it seems not to be going at all.

Once I enter the OTP, It shows this and stays on the page without any progress.

What can I do? If you used barter dollar card, how did u guy do it?

I was thinking like that too, but i will not advice you to hold on or go ahead, because there is no guaranty or warranty/

This came after our plans to travel in September was truncated due to Abnormal Chest x-ray I got and had to wait for 8weeks for sputum test, As we won't be able meet up with enrollment after 8weeks we deferred.

My dollar card has a fialy maximum of $3000.

Only our IHS fee is more then $3000 , without adding visa fee.

Do u feel consent letter is necessary since u, ur husband are applying together with the kids.

I tort consent letter is necessary when one of the spouse is already in UK or not applying at the same time with the kids.

Paid deposit and fulfilled conditions - 11th Oct

Offer turned Unconditional and CAS letter issued - 19th Oct

TB Test @ IOM Ikeja for family, we got results same day- 22nd October

Hubby did his TB test in Abuja - 4th Nov

POF matured - 11th Nov

Application submitted for Family of 5 - 11th Nov (Tip- we had started working on the application a week before submission)

Paid for Priority for Main Applicant and Standard for Dependents


Docs submitted:

Main Applicant- Bank statements (Dollar and Naira accounts), Degree Certificate, Transcript, WAEC result, CAS, Marriage Certificate, TB certificate, Passport Biodata page, family pictures and Proof of employment (Introduction letter from HR, Promotion Letter, work ID card, work Anniversary congratulatory letter and CV)


Kids - My Bank statements, CAS, Birth certificate, TB certificate, kid’s passport

They are your dependant....u are obviously your responsibility.

Please is the letter of consent for the kids necessary too? After all they are ur kids and u are applying together?

Okay. My condition for this same course didn’t include the transcript and reference part. Just personal statement. This people sha, they just managed to limit your options and put you in a state of confusion.
I’d advise to proceed fast if you want to go ahead with Coventry, because they operate at snail speed.

As the main applicant, my PoF is in my account....but on lien.

Hope it doesn't matter that the fund is on lien....the lien was at my request tho (trust u understand what I mean)

Just want to be sure.....my account officer already assure me the fund will show in my statement of account when am ready to print it......even thou I can't see it in my daily sms alert.

U are very wrong sure! For Coventry university.....one of the conditions to be fulfilled is payment of deposit. Payment if deposit is number 1 on their conditional offer, after it comes proof of funds.

If it was conditional offer given to you. You're not supposed to pay any deposit without fulfill the conditions.
You can only pay deposit with Unconditional offer.

Does Swansea require proof of fund before issuing CAS? I know some university do ask for PoF.

I’m going to Swansea. Have you accepted your offer and submitted ur previous study questionnaire? If yes, it will be updated in your cas checklist and your offer will become unconditional. Then you can proceed to pay your deposit.
